John 1:1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2The same was in the beginning with God. 3All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. 4In him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.

have you heard of King Arthur? what if i told you that its King Author? short for Authority.

you see in the beginning was the WORD because thats whats written in the word which makes it right or WRITE. so the Author has the AUTHORITY to write reality or RIGHT reality. which gives us our Authorization.

the bible Authorizes you to do this or that because the Author of the word has the Authority because its king Author, not king Arthur.

Thats why the word is God because it was written in the WORD that it is.

so what is God? the bible is God THE WORD is God

IT has the Authority to Authorize you.

this is why in the beginning the word created all because thats what they wrote in the word.

its not that it ACTUALLY happened but the Author is God of his own story that he creates!

the word created the world because the word said so!

God gave us His word. This is synonymous with giving a promise. When you give someone your word, you are promising them.

Lord Jesus is the Word of God, He proceeds from the mouth of God, and is also Father God's express living image.

God promised salvation, and He sent salvation.

Lord Jesus isn't just the Son, but also Word.

I don't have children but if I did, and they believed my promises which were beyond their wildest dreams, I'd be very happy. Faith is accounted as righteousness and is well pleasing to God.

no, the Word is God because the Author has the Authority which Authorizes. this is why the book Authorizes you what you can and cant do.
this is why when discussing a work of fiction, the Authors word is referred to as "word of God" because they have essentially created their own word over which they are God.

So this is a semantics thread? Lord Jesus is God. God is a title. Lord Jesus is Father God's living word and son.
im afraid you're missing the point.
its not about semantics im explaining why the word is God. its not philosophical or metaphorical. there is a real reason for it. if i write a story right now i am God over that universe i created.

the words Author and Authority are etymologically linked.

thats why the word is God because the Words Authorize you.

the word is God because the word is the Authority.

the bible is God itself, it has the Authority.

First, welcome to CC.

While I can see why you come to the conclusion you have, I think you're seriously off-base. If what you say is true, then you should be worshipping the Bible. I don't worship the Bible; I worship Jesus about Whom the Bible is written.

If, as you claim, the Bible is God, then who or what moved upon men as they wrote its parts? Who or what created the heavens and the earth before any of them were written about? Who or what works in people to conform them to Christ when they have no Bible at all in their hands? If the Bible is God, what was on the cross on Calvary? What rose from the dead on the third day? You would do well to think carefully through the implications of your assertion, and check it vigorously against the actual statements in the Bible.

Au is this a Thor thread, jk.

look the bible was inspired by God, man chose the language wordage to do it, are there typo's yea, are things not quite in order yea, misspelling and improper meanings of words used in context yea, is everything spelled out on a silver plater no.

But that's what makes it believeable, God used faulty men to do great things through out the bible, why would that change in the writing of it.

Hello, Willandintent, Welcome to CC!

one issue I see is that the Bible we use today has small copying errors in it,

which wouldn't be true of God.

thanks for welcoming me but im afraid you missed the point as well. the Author is the Authority. the only reason why the word is God is because it is the WORDS that Authorize you, like written laws.

the point that im making is that what the bible says is true is true because it is what the word says.

the reason why the word created the world is because thats what the word says, not because it actually did. but thats why its king Author and not Arthur because the one who is the Author has the power over the people minds.

that is why we have written laws that gives us our RIGHTS or writes. see?

no the Author was the Authority, King Author. God is the book but really he is a group of men who wrote this book to control the minds of others. and Authorize them in what they could or could not do.

thats just like some people believe the bible forbids them to eat pork based on nothing more than the AUTHORITY of the WORD that was Authored by men. who Authored it to increase and maintain their Authority.

You mean like this verse below, if you know your bible you'll know this was spoken by Zachriah not Jeremiah but,,,
in the book of Jeremiah this is what it should of said or simply by Zachriah.

Mat 27:9
Then what was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled: "They took the thirty pieces of silver, the price set on him by the people of Israel,
