One of these days... the Lord may reveal to you people in your congregation that were speaking in tongues that testify of feeling the "Holy Spirit" coming over them and filling them when they spoke in tongues and they would be telling the truth of that experience.. and yet also admit they are not believers in Jesus Christ.

It has happened. Is that a red flag or what?
It will not happen in my congregation. People in my church understand that they were born of the Holy Spirit when they were saved, and understand what the manifestations of the gift of Holy Spirit are, and how to use them.

It's quite rude and presumptuous of you to suggest that people in my church are not Christian (believers in Jesus Christ). Do you know who else is a big false accuser in the Bible?

You are dead wrong to continue to condemn speaking in tongues without interpretation. One day you will know this. I only hope it happens in this life.

Honestly, I believe that tongues are our native language.

When Adam and Eve were created, and as man's numbers grew, they had a singular spiritual language. This was not lost until the tower of Babel. The purpose of the Messiah/Christ is to restore all that man lost. And scripture says that one of the things that will be restored is that singular spiritual language. It's my understanding and belief that tongues we know now are just our ability to tap into that restored language now thru the Holy Spirit. Where it talks about tongues ceasing, there is an argument to be made that they don't really stop, but since it will be our native language they just stop being known as a tongue. At that point, English/Spanish/German et al will be (or would be ) considered the tongue.

That is what Jesus said, did He not? The Born again of the Spirit will not happen until after He had ascended.. when He was no longer physically present with His disciples as this promise was to be sent from the Father.
I do not think you know what is born again or saved nor do I think you have done a very good study on the Spirit of the living God workings in the Old Testament, in the Ministry of the Lord Jesus before the cross and the Working of the Church after the resurrection again the gospel of John is from an eyewitness account of the events that happen before and after the resurrection and the instruction given before the "
Ascension "

The empowering of the Holy Spirit is what was promised as it was said BY Jesus in :

Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

acts 1:8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

And the Lord in the Gospel of John gives more as to what that power will do in chapter 14
John 14:16

Jesus says: And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;
:17
Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.
:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

this was so important He said this again in verse 26

:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
[FONT=arial, helvetica, sans serif] then before the Crucifixion in chapter 16

[/FONT]16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

Then after the resurrection Jesus appears to them and says John 20:22
And when he had said this, he breathed on them[FONT=arial, helvetica, sans serif], and saith unto them, Receive(lambano ) ye the Holy Ghost:[/FONT]
[FONT=arial, helvetica, sans serif] and HE breathed on them Now why would Jesus Breathed on them? and say that [/FONT]
[FONT=arial, helvetica, sans serif] the breath of Life eternal Life . why did not the recorded of Acts 2 say they were all saved ? you do not find any word of salvation , saved, or born again used or recorded in Acts chapter 1 or 2 in context to those in the upper room.

I would say they were saved already their confession, the Holy Spirit in context was given by Jesus in verse 22 of John 20.
no statement of their conversion on the day of Pentecost the close thing we have is John 20:22 that John an eye witness Testify to .

There are two forms. One, intended for an assembly, is tongues with interpretation which edifies the assembly. The other, intended for in private, is an unknown language between you and God which edifies the believer. Both are actually unknown tongues as spoken, but prophecy (tongues with interpretation) becomes known by that interpretation.

The vast majority of the confusion over tongues would disappear if people were taught the proper time and place for both of these.

Reread that again.... I had offered a scenario that may happen in your church that the Lord would reveal; not that it did happen.

"One of these days... the Lord may reveal to you people in your congregation that were speaking in tongues that testify of feeling the "Holy Spirit" coming over them and filling them when they spoke in tongues and they would be telling the truth of that experience.. and yet also admit they are not believers in Jesus Christ.

The phrase "It has happened" is a start of a separate paragraph referring to a real situation and NOT the scenario that might happen involving your church. Sorry if that was not clear.

And there is no point telling about the situation in my local area when it is hard to believe because you had to be in that church to see the aftermath when a pastor went up and down the pews to make sure there were no newcomers and that every one was a believer in Jesus Christ BEFORE they began the service to focus on the Holy Spirit.

You think about that, brother. You know churches can be so pro Holy Spirit in the way they talk.... Holy Spirit this.. Holy Spirit that in every service so that when new comers come in, and the supernatural happened to them with them speaking in tongues, is it any wonder how they are not believers in Jesus Christ when all the focus has been on the Holy Spirit? It is no wonder to me how it had happened, but I reckon you are not going to believe it until you see for yourself.

What did Paul say?

1 Corinthians 1:[SUP]9 [/SUP]God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.[SUP] 10 [/SUP]Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

1 Corinthians 2:[SUP]2 [/SUP]For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified.

Who do you think the Holy Spirit will keep the spotlight on in worship? Scripture says the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 16:[SUP]14[/SUP]He shall glorify me: ....

How can the Holy Spirit do that in worship? Through us....

John 15:[SUP]26 [/SUP]But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:[SUP]27 [/SUP]And ye also shall bear witness, because ye have been with me from the beginning.

Those led by the Spirit of God in being His disciples would testify of the Son in seeking the glory of the Son and by Him, the glory of God the Father.

Only seducing spirits would take the spotlight away from the Son, and putting the spotlight on the Holy Spirit, makes it easier for them to lure believers away in chasing after them for a sign.

One brother in India was telling me how his church was honoring the Holy Spirit that day of Pentecost when he felt something like liquid nitrogen seeping through his skull and he began confessing against his will an apology to the Holy Spirit for not believing that He did any more dramatic manifestations as He had done in the early church days.

You discern that with Jesus at that throne of grace, brother. Was that the Holy Spirit or not?

Anyway.... I leave it to the Lord to expose this as happening contrary to the scripture and why it is happening because we can only honor the Father by honoring the Son. There is no other way to honor the Father by.

John 5:[SUP]22 [/SUP]For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:[SUP]23 [/SUP]That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

Jesus said it and I believe He really meant it in how any one comes to God the Father in worship, fellowship, or prayer.

John 14:[SUP]6 [/SUP]Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 10:1Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber...........[SUP]7 [/SUP]Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

I never said they were not Christians. I was giving the warning Paul had given about saved believers departing from faith.

1 Timothy 4:1Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; [SUP]2 [/SUP]Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

You cannot depart from faith unless you had faith and since we know Jesus cannot lose any one He has saved, then it goes to show why God is judging His House first at the pre trib rapture event as to why there are vessels unto dishonor in His House as designated as those who did not depart from iniquity before the Bridegroom had come.

The church in Thyatira was committing spiritual fornication in uttering the depths of Satan for which they speak.

Revelation 2:[SUP]18 [/SUP]And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; [SUP]19 [/SUP]I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first. [SUP]20 [/SUP]Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. [SUP]21 [/SUP]And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. [SUP]22 [/SUP]Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. [SUP]23 [/SUP]And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. [SUP]24 [/SUP]But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. [SUP]25 [/SUP]But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.

There is no way God would mimic the supernatural tongue in the world that comes with no interpretation for then there would be no way for those sinners to depart from that tongue which is not of Him if saved believer use tongues for private use when sinners do that too.

Isaiah 8:[SUP]19 [/SUP]And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mutter: should not a people seek unto their God? for the living to the dead?

1 Thessalonians 5:[SUP]21 [/SUP]Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. [SUP]22 [/SUP]Abstain from all appearance of evil.

You are dead wrong to continue to condemn speaking in tongues without interpretation. One day you will know this. I only hope it happens in this life.
The poll survey shows otherwise. Check it again and vote. And wake up.

1 Corinthians 15:[SUP]33 [/SUP]Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners. [SUP]34 [/SUP]Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

By the way, the Holy Spirit does not answer prayers. Do note how many voters said that He does in getting tongues.

So what? Funny how you are against those wild encounters but they ask the Holy Spirit too and they get wild encounters. Can the devil answer when people are praying to God? No, but the Father did say there is only one way to approach Him by and that is by the only way of the Son and that only the Son can answer prayers so that the Father may be glorified in the Son for answered prayers.

John 14:[SUP] [/SUP]Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me......[SUP]13 [/SUP]And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. [SUP]14 [/SUP]If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

I have plenty of reasons to cry foul. And it is done by the scriptures most tongue speakers ignore.
