The Words of Jesus Christ The Son of God. Concerning His own return and the Ushering in of His Kingdom of eternal Life.

matthew 25: 31-46 "When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. ....

v. 40And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink: 43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not. Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when ?.....v 45Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me. And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal."

this is really the clearest and most trustworthy understanding to Have about the day Jesus returns in His Glory and with the Eternal Judgement. I really cant see How any person could really dispute that Jesus was speaking of His return, Long after His crucifixion and resurrection which He had been already teaching about prior to this. So to say He wasnt considering the Work of the Cross Ahead Kind of makes no sense. and when you look at pauls account if the Judgement its the same as Jesus.

Romans 2:5-11 "But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God; Who will render to every man according to his deeds: To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath, Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile; But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile: For there is no respect of persons with God."

the truth is that the end will come Like a thief in the Night, as in the days of Noah, and we will face the One who suffered So greatly for us each One, and we Will be judged according to His words that are eternal, the Words Of God...a few more examples

matthew 16:27 "For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

(see entirety of chapter 25 regarding accountability for what We have been Given. )

another exampole from Paul see also Galatians 5, ephesians 5.

Galatians 6:7-9 "Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Just as always, we shall reap whatever we Sow in Christ The difference is we Now Have the spirit of God to teach and lead us in the right things, and strengthen us to resist the wrong things, all through the Word of God.
Not many Like the truth of this with the modern doctrines peaople teach about it, but the truth is that Jesus spoke rather clearly about His own Kingdom, it is the gospel of His Kingdom after all and He Will never change. its important to understand our own accountability, because without it, we will never really repent and walk the walk and experience the freedom.

"Love one another"

1 john 3:16-22 "Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him. 20For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 21Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God. 22And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight."

1 john 5:1-5 "
Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.\Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? love is actions. the commandments and teachings of God through Jesus Christ teaches what Love is, His example having laid down His Life to save Ours, and teaching us How to Love Like Gods Children. Love isnt just to say i love you as we do in the world today, its actions the Ones God teaches us through His Word.

We will be judged by our works, but our works has no bearing on whether we are saved or not. It is not grace plus works that save us. It is grace plus faith in Christ that saves and nothing else. I am not implying that you are saying works have something to do with salvation. I am simply making the point that only by grace and by faith in Christ will we be saved. I like the parable of the sheep and the goats. Have you considered making a blog?

CherieR, I'd like to kindly ask you what you think God's "grace" that saves us actually is.

If, and only if someone thinks that God's grace is merely His merciful forgiveness, they are greatly mistaken. Gods grace is the quickenng power of the Spirit within us that teaches us to deny ungodliness and live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world.

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation has appeared to all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. -Titus 2:11-12

Actually if you accept the scriptures it has everything to do with what we do after we accept Jesus. Take a look at the parable of the sheep and goats.....what is the difference? The sheep do the actions and are given eternal life and their portion of the kingdom, the goats did not do the actions and are cast into eternal punishment. If that has nothing to do with "salvation" then we would have to redefine what being saved is.

Grace saves us because we respond to Jesus, grace isn't what's been taught. Grace either changes us to those who do the works or it doesn't. It saves us through changing our hearts, and thus our actions. What we do having been bought with Jesus blood, will determine either eternal life, or sadly eternal torment. Some doctrines teach a message that what we do has no bearing, when it has everything to do with life or death. It's no different in Paul's writing of the judgement. Those who by continuance in well doing seek for eternal life are glorified with it, those who are contentious and refuse to obey the truth and continue on in sin, they are given indignation and wrath.

The one who saves made things really clear. Eternal life is possible because of the grace and truth that came through Jesus, grace doesn't force salvation on people, it gives us achoice to either be saved through righteousness, given with the Holy Spirit to those who truly are of faith, doing the works imparted which is living the gospel teachings. Eternal life doesn't mean salvation, those who are cast into hell will also never die. They will live forever also we will either be given a portion of Jesus eternal kingdom, or cast from it according to what we have done. The above scriptures really make it kind of plain that the difference is eternal life, or eternal fire.

thats it exactly. And I'm not sure how these scriptures can be taken as if these things don't apply to eternal life or condemnation. Both the sheep and goats and Romans 2 make it really undeniable what's at stake. We're saved by grace because grace teaches us to live right, if we do not heed and yield, we don't have what we've been told.
