There is, in the very near future where christians (small C) will attack and kill Believers as heritics and blasphemers. It will be like Paul did before he got saved. And these christians will honestly believe that they are doing God a favor. Just like Paul did.

I have no scripture for this but Just remember that I warned you...

Just look at Westboro Baptist Church and others like them. Unchecked, some extreme Fundamentalists can become VERY dangerous.

Westboro are the good guys. They fear God and don't tolerate sodomites. It's not the people who fear God that Christians have to worry about, it's the luke warm people who want to live in Babylon. People that would gladly report you to the police for trying to live a godly life, I've already seen a woman on here like that. :rolleyes:

you have no scripture for it? there's plenty of scripture for it

this world has been in conflict since A & E and just because someone says they are a Christian does not mean we sit down and break bread with them

you might be interested to know the war has been fought and won by Christ and those who are in Him know this

the battles are fought daily and taking a look see in the book of Ephesians, we see it likened to a wrestling match and we are told to put on the armor

and like I said. the Bible is chock full of this war and was written so that we might know what is going on and how to get out of the war and into the arms of the One who has already won the victory for us

Amen..if we were living in the Dark Ages - many of us would be killed by those that considered others as heretics - simply because there was a disagreement on the interpretation of some scriptures.

The Catholic church tried to kill Martin Luther because he said "The just shall live by faith"

The religious mindset is the same today or they can't kill us ( yet ) physically but they will slander and be malice-filled and deceitfully mis-represent what is being said.

Heretics? Oh my goodness. Someone just called me a heretic. Is she going to kill me? :) It would not surprise me if people like her got to that point

Most times "us Christians" are just responding to things in the flesh - like outbursts of anger. We all can do it in the heat of things if you violate our beliefs.

Anyone who doesn't agree with "what I and my group" believes on a subject is a heretic to someone else. It's the nature of the beast.

In saying that - there are real heresies - like denying that Jesus is God come in the flesh - that we are saved by grace through faith through the blood of Jesus only.

But whether one believes in the end times like we do or healing or tongues like we do - none of that are heresies but we like to call others those names like heretic that dis-agree with us because it gives more "clout" to what we believe.

Such is the nature of the flesh that is in all of us.....:rolleyes:
