2 Corinthians 12:7-10

Because of the surpassing greatness of the revelations, for this reason, to keep me from exalting myself, there was given me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me—to keep me from exalting myself! Concerning this I implored the Lord three times that it might leave me. And He has said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Most gladly, therefore, I will rather boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may dwell in me. Therefore I am well content with weaknesses, with insults, with distresses, with persecutions, with difficulties, for Christ’s sake; for when I am weak, then I am strong.

Who = Paul
What = Thorn in the flesh = messenger of satan
Why = to keep Paul from pride because God gave him great revelations

I know. The scripture says what it was
You, just like everyone else talking about it, THINK you have read the correct interpretation of what it was. Don't get too carried away, Denadii.

IMO
Sometimes we can create our own thorns by not forgiving ourselves for whatever it is, and sometimes God will leave a thorn to
Keep us humble. I think God wants to build our character yet keep us humble as well, to keep it real per say, to understand and feel that old path once traveled on.

I have heard Pastors and Others say that it COULD BE AN eye problem, and there is something to that possibility. But all recognize that, along with other thoughts on this is SPECULATION.

That fits with the lie that God makes you sick to teach you something. God broke my arm because He love me so much. That's a doctrine of demons

It is speculation because of not reading the Word with the guidance of the Holy Spirit

Indeed if a person thinks God broke their arm because He loves them so yea that is crazy thinking.

But if God doesn't take away the pain because someone shouldn't have been swimming with a barracuda and got bit, surely doesn't mean He doesn't love them, get my drift.
