Nobody can obey the law. The Hebrews have tried for thousands of years,
Of course we are so much better, we can do it
The rapture is post trib or mid trib, but a catching away makes no sense, I.E. Thesselonians. We have to prove our love in the hell of the judgements.

The disciples all died for a cause. so they are in heaven. we have to die so that we might go to heaven

God loves us, but its conditional, on us being good, except which verrsion of good should I follow

The earth is flat!!

There is no living word, so we are left to debate what it is that God is doing

Jesus died a nasty death, to tease us.

The old covenant is more relevant than the new.

Some bibles are translated betterr than others so we had better learn which is the best.

If we do good God will bless us, and if we do bad, we are beat

If i don't gather with fellow believers i am doomed to hell,
If i don't tithe, i will never receive nothiing from the Lord

All pastors, preachers, teacher and such, are annointed of God so I had better listen. I.E> Jim Jones,

SO WHAT IS THE POINT

off with my head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

[h=1]Ecclesiastes 1King James Version (KJV)[/h]1 The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem.
2 Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
3 What profit hath a man of all his labour which he taketh under the sun?
4 One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh: but the earth abideth for ever.
5 The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.
6 The wind goeth toward the south, and turneth about unto the north; it whirleth about continually, and the wind returneth again according to his circuits.
7 All the rivers run into the sea; yet the sea is not full; unto the place from whence the rivers come, thither they return again.
8 All things are full of labour; man cannot utter it: the eye is not satisfied with seeing, nor the ear filled with hearing.
9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
10 Is there any thing whereof it may be said, See, this is new? it hath been already of old time, which was before us.
11 There is no remembrance of former things; neither shall there be any remembrance of things that are to come with those that shall come after.
12 I the Preacher was king over Israel in Jerusalem.
13 And I gave my heart to seek and search out by wisdom concerning all things that are done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of man to be exercised therewith.
14 I have seen all the works that are done under the sun; and, behold, all is vanity and vexation of spirit.
15 That which is crooked cannot be made straight: and that which is wanting cannot be numbered.
16 I communed with mine own heart, saying, Lo, I am come to great estate, and have gotten more wisdom than all they that have been before me in Jerusalem: yea, my heart had great experience of wisdom and knowledge.
17 And I gave my heart to know wisdom, and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this also is vexation of spirit.
18 For in much wisdom is much grief: and he that increaseth knowledge increaseth sorrow.

Mathew 13:11-16
King James version(KJV)

11.)He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12.)For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he

13.)Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14.)And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15.)For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

16.)But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

Don't put trust In the five senses past the reason GOD gave them to us.

Faith pleases GOD.

JESUS said that the words HE spoke were Spirit and they are Life.

You're right. No one can obey the law. And yet that Law is God's standard for being "good." Failure comes complete with separation from God, a death sentence and eternity in hell. AND we cannot do it!

Let that soak in. The Law shows us God's standard for what good is, anything short of it is punishable by death, hell, and separation from God.

Did you just see the utter hopelessness? Did you get a glimpse of how much you have failed? Did you reach that moment when you plead for mercy?

Did you finally catch on that you need to be saved?

THAT's the other point! Jesus saves!

So, what's your point? Do you want to be saved, or would you rather mock this perfect God who does do perfect good, and yet still has the love and mercy to save some? Do you want him to save you from what you richly deserve? Do you want to serve him because he gave us a way out of what we richly deserve?

Um, he hasn't been here for a month yet.
We don't know what is going on with people in this forum in their reality at home. I knew he was having a bit of trouble from pm's.

I too am a bit tired of the topics now. So I have some material that I want to study and am thinking of taking some time to do that.

Be back though...cause I love ye all. :)

And those few being
“You know the commandments: `Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother.'" Luke 18:20

[34] But when the Pharisees heard that he had silenced the Sad'ducees, they came together.
[35] And one of them, a lawyer, asked him a question, to test him.
[36] "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?"
[37] And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.
[38] This is the great and first commandment.
[39] And a second is like it, You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
[40] On these two commandments depend all the law and the prophets." Matt 22:34-40 RSV

Grandpa (user name) not mine) has a good word about the commandments on the heart. I think it's in the Sabbath forum.

I didn't know that the commandments written on the stony heart was not for the church. Or His body I should say. That makes a difference and clears up the issue of works...

Oh my: you say i mock, God. if you live under the law you are slapping Jesus in the face. FYI i'am ready to stand in front of my saviour and let him judge who is right Only a child would believe they could fulfill the law.
