1 Chronicles 22:17-19 King James Version (KJV)
17 David also commanded all the princes of Israel to help Solomon his son, saying,
18 Is not the LORD your God with you? and hath he not given you rest on every side? for he hath given the inhabitants of the land into mine hand; and the land is subdued before the LORD, and before his people.
19 Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God; arise therefore, and build ye the sanctuary of the LORD God, to bring the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and the holy vessels of God, into the house that is to be built to the name of the LORD.

17 Then David •ordered [commanded] all the leaders of Israel to help his son Solomon. 18 David said to them, “The LORD your God is with you. He has given you •rest from our enemies [peace on every side; Deut. 12:2]. He has handed over to me the people living around us. The LORD and his people •are in control of [have subdued] this land. 19 Now •give yourselves completely to obeying [devote your heart/mind and soul to seeking] the LORD your God. Build the •holy place [sanctuary] of the LORD God; build the •Temple [L house] •for worship to the LORD [to honor the LORD’s name]. Then bring the Ark of the •Agreement [Testimony; Treaty; Covenant] with the LORD and the holy •items [vessels; articles] that belong to God into the •Temple [L house].”

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
17 So David degrees that the people have to help Solomon with the temple. We as Christians are degreed to help one anther serving Christ.
18 There should be a peace knowing the Lord is with us, we are never alone and He always is there loving us. God wants to fight our battles for us and He wants to make us ready for the battles. David is giving praise to the Lord victories; we are to praise Him for the victories in our lives.
19 We are to devote ourselves to the Lord, holding nothing back from Him. We are the holy sanctuary as believers holding the Holy Spirit inside us.
