Perhaps you should invite a couple of elders from another congregation to come hold a study session, covering the characteristics of a "healthy" church, followed by an open discussion about the future of that assembly?

After much prayer, of course...

Just curious? Has anyone ever been in a Church where there is confusion? Little organized control, little Pastoral oversight, free teaching even if it conflicts with Scripture or is in disagreement with other teachers? I would certainly welcome the feedback.

There are those of us who love our churches, as opposed to people that hop from church to church, according to how much they like their pastors. If you belong to a church for a long time, you will see a number of pastors, some better than others. What is sickening is when you get one who thinks he is smarter than the Lord. There are a lot of them.
