Not does he still have an office for healers, not that he heals all the time, not that he has or hasn't healed you. Simple question based on the world we live in today and this time. Does God heal?
But, Lynn, the answer is so obvious. He doesn't spend his time playing video games. He spends his time showing each of us the way. That includes healing.

God always heals. A Christian has to accept his or her healing and see it and know and believe in their heart that they are healed. It's faith that heals a person, so if any person is dealing with any kind of sickness then all they have to do is hold on to where it says that we are healed. What a person sees in the word, is what a person has to meditate on until they see it in their heart. Some Christians think that it's God's will for some people to be sick and for others not to be, or rather that God will heal some people and not others. If that was true, then God would be a respecter of persons, which the bible says that he is not. All our healing, and blessings and promises are in Christ, all we have to do is receive it by faith. The only reason that some get healed and some do not is because some have not taken it by faith. Some also don't know how to receive it and some are told by others that they cannot. Any kind of sickness is an oppression. Acts 10:38 says that Jesus healed all that were oppressed of the devil. Jesus showed that God's will was for all to be healed, and those that came to him and believed were healed. The only ones who did not get their healing were those who did not believe it says. Therefore if they had believed, then they would have gotten their healing. Just as those who could not enter the promise land because of unbelief, so also a person who does not believe to be healed or that they cannot, will not enter into the promise of healing from the word. It has nothing to do with God, but the lack of the person's faith. We have all power over the enemy in Christ, when we accept it, we can only do that when we see it for ourselves, and know without a doubt that we have it.

I cant say.

The only people claiming miraculous healing I met were never miraculously healed as proved later or were not even healed at all (problems returned).

On the other hand I think God can theoretically heal instantly, why not?

So, I believe so but I have nothing to prove it in the real life.

If we are talking also about natural healing, its the most common thing we experience every day and I believe its a design made by God, so it should be counted to His glory, too.

I personally think a lot of healing comes down to obedience and faith. Believe it or not, most Christians still hold on to some sort of sin that prevents them from being healed like for ex. idolatry or unforgiveness. And a lot of people are bitter towards God for whatever they're dealing with which is a problem. I fall into this trap as well.

Re: Does God heal?[/h]25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.
26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.
27 Then saith he to Thomas, reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

John 20:25-28

You gotta leave here to get there, and when you get there you will have the answer to your question.

Yes,he has healed us spiritually,by his stripes and yes he does heal us physically.

It does look like healing was part of the atonement, "for by His stripes, you WERE healed"
Several healings here, and have seen more, some healing is inside, as though He is showing us how our eternal life is
more important than this temporal life.
External healing is for a sign to unbelievers according to what I read, and also because it is His very nature to
heal and restore.

I think if the holy spirit is able to influence the brain's decision making, it's probably reasonable to reason it could maybe also influence the brain's other functions too, i.e. healing your physical body.

You really need to get to know people on this site more. Some of us have been miraculously healed. Not the kind of healed like Mark is talking -- where it's up to the person to want to be healed, and then, eventually, God will heal. Instantaneous, no other way of explaining it, healed.

As far as naturally healed goes? How else is "naturally" set up, other than God? ;)

That said, as far as you know, does God heal? It's not that hard a question and it really is simply a Yes or No question.

l think the only way someone could answer NO to this question is if they've personally interviewed each and every one of the 7,108,892,654 people on this planet.

...and even then they couldn't use that answer with 100% confidence.

(Babies, the unborn, and a handful of politicians wouldn't be able to give them a straight answer)
what, you're so busy?

it's not like you'd have to interview politicians, after all. lol

Protocol.

Protocol for answered prayer.

Roots.

Roots taking hold in believers through rebellion/ sin

Strong man

Ye must first bind the strong man.

Unforgiveness

We can block the power of God by hatreds and resentments..."..but leave your gift upon the altar and go and make restitution, then return"

Remember Jesus was blocked from healing by the sneers and unbelief's of a certain town he was in ( Bethlehem?)

Mat 18;18,19.

Healing is not one dimensional.

There is also anointings overriding those obstacles I injected.

Remember,Jesus did no healing untill he was anointed and met with the devil.

There is an entire separate dynamic in the realm of demons and our relationship to/with them.

I can say one thing written in stone. " if you shake hands with the devil,he WILL bite your arm off"

If you need healing, don't start throwing dynamics off the table.

Thinking back,I can not recall Jesus using any single method in healing hundreds of people.

We are human. Fickle humanoids.
I have forgotten more than I have "learned" about healing. I have seen many miracles. I have also "blown it" while ministering under the anointing.

We have to listen. Put our ear on Jesus chest. Hear his heartbeat. His instruction will be in that heartbeat. His voice will have a rhythm. Without intimacy, and humility our "success rate" will not impress .

I need to do better.

My heart is fixed on heaven. My hope is nobody left out. All receive their miracle.

I believe those days are coming soon. I am consumed with this concept. Seeing people receive their miracle.

You watch..... We will not only see an increase in healing, but also we will raise the dead.

If God doesn't heal today, then how did Jesus heal when He was on the earth?

I'd like to add to that. I'm a firm believer in Proverbs 4:20-22:

(20) My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings.
(21) Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart.
(22) For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
