Blain it was not Love that told you worry is a fruit of love. It was someone else. Look.
verb (used without object), worried, worrying. 1. to torment oneself with or suffer from disturbing thoughts; fret.

Synonyms: anguish; apprehension; concern; doubt; fear; misery; misgiving; pain; problem; uncertainty; uneasiness; woe; care; disquiet; distress; heartache; torture; torment; trial

Every single one of these will block your healing, or that of the one you are praying for. Still not your fault but it is something we need to know. The enemy Satan will do anything, tell you anything to block you from getting what belongs to you.

There is no such thing as a Godly fear. Its live by faith or do not live by faith.

You're speaking in love when you accuse me of being mean to build myself up? So you think I'm a fool who believes that would build me up? You accuse and call it love.....Where is your scripture to back up that stance? So tell me rabbi....in the two verses below, what Jesus speaking in love or hate?
Matthew 23:13 Matthew 23:27
Old adage:
If someone calls you a duck, ignore it.
If two people call you a duck, think about it.
If three call you a duck, start quacking and head for the water.

How many times have people on here called you a duck? I lost count at ten, but that's only because I was the tenth.

We are talking in love. Matt. 18:15-17. As it stands now, you are a tax collecting Gentile, but we do hope the Lord saves you.

Meanwhile, we challenge, so you will not take others in with your false gospel, bitterness, and hate. That's Mama Bear!

This is love:
Mark 12:30 And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no other commandment greater than these.”

No where in that description is "build myself up," "defend myself," "go on the attack as first action," "start my own little sermons at people I think are less than I am in any thread I find, despite topic," "tear down the person," "tear down everything the person says," and yet, that is what you do each and every time.

Matthew was a tax collector, and yet he was saved by Jesus. Apollo was a Gentile saved by Jesus. It's not like we have no hope for you. It's that you are a coyote heading for the cub's nursery all too often. You're new to the territory though, because you keep thinking youthful age tells that the person you pick out is a babe who can be fooled. Blain is no babe. Most of the ones young-in-age aren't babes on this site. And, we're no ordinary bears. We are a community, and we do protect others, no matter their age. I've already told you I'd stand by you, if someone attacked you. I wasn't kidding.

I will not stand by you as you attack though.

That is love! That is the full description outwardly.

So, want to explain what you're doing in such a matter that you can call it love?

I like that....You're saying we have to be in terror of God because that makes us wise? Really.....In respect to God, fear means Reverential respect!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is not terror kind of fear....It's hard to believe that Christians actually believe we should be in fear of our God.
Is that bad comprehension skills? Because, even at our age, a tutor can help with reading comprehension.

Or is that just you being arrogant as ever? After all, not one of those words were my words. They were God's words.

Is that bad comprehension skills? Has your intellect and spirit been Depleted? Look it up for yourself woman! Fear of the Lord is not the terror kind of fear but reverential respect...Awe if you will....Since when does fear attract? You fear God you would tend to run from Him. You hold Him in Awe and you will drop to your knees and worship Him...Which do you prefer?

In addition to that...God gives a very clear command to FEAR NOT! How can you fear God and not fear? Only when you go with reverential respect...

BTW Words are my business, my work, my life. For you they seem to be only weapons.

Then I'm left thinking you must be struggling greatly in retirement.
Why would I be struggling? I don't like being retired but I found a new career. So what are you referring to?

again, when He wants to...
Soooo, umm? You're not changing your mind on that one, eh?

(Didn't think you would. lol)

Honestly, I think God does healing much more often then we give him credit for.

-- In the space of 20 years I saw an old highway that had a cave-in turn into a meadow. Miraculous how God healed that land.

-- A new study came out that says old football players have a 98% chance of brain damage. They may be brain damaged, but quite a few of them live out their lives with their brains in tact and working properly, despite the damage.

-- Another medical study focused on pastors throughout their lives. The brain scans say these pastors should have dementia, on average, as often as any other group of older people, and yet, despite the brain scans there is something different about these people. They get dementia much less than the average group of people. The study suggests that it is because they do brain exercises like crossword puzzles. Meh. I doubt it is a thing for pastors to do crossword puzzles.

-- I live in the Northeast, and have lived in this area for 58 of the 61 years I've been alive. When I was a kid, quite a few of the rivers 'round here, were so polluted carp couldn't even survive in them. One of the rivers, the Delaware, did have carp, but nothing better than that. (I think you know carp are the garbage eaters for rivers.) When I was a young woman, bass came back. Not merely came back, thrived! My boss was catching (and releasing) 5-7 pounders. Beavers are back now! I didn't know the Delaware ever had beavers. And we have bald eagles again! Man stopped polluting, but God brought the wildlife back!

-- Mt. St. Helena is back! Total destruction from the volcanic eruption in the 1980's, but fish, wildlife, and vegetation is back. Trees! I'm talking full-blown adult trees!
(Warning almost an hour long.)

-- Think of all the scratches, cuts, bruises, rashes, bug bites, infections, illnesses, and disabilities you had/have. Inflammation. Inflammation deforms the body, and yet, it also heals the body. When the body is healed, the inflammation goes away. How do we survive all those injuries? How many times did you fall on your bike and skin your knee? What does your knee look like now? Skin there? Pretty amazing! Doncha think? Mine would look like ground meat, if it never healed.

-- Most amazing one. We were sinners, unable to not sin. And now we aren't. We can not-sin on occasion. That is healing.

I think God does a lot more healing then anyone considers.

LOL What's a dispensationalist?
A Dispensationalist is one who "bites dogs" instead of letting them bite him! Seriously a Dispensationalist simply interprets Scripture as it was meant to be interpreted. According to Scripture there are covenants and dispensations in human history, and in the history of God dealing with men. We need to discern them in order to understand what God is saying.

Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision (Phil 3:2).

Hey depleted I change my answer a bit. I think healing happens more when you seek God with the whole heart rather than just faith and obedience.
