All is well for those that believe in Christ's finished work for us.

1 Thessalonians 5:9-10 (NASB)
[SUP]9 [/SUP] For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ,

[SUP]10 [/SUP] who died for us, so that whether we are awake or asleep, we will live together with Him.

The end times are already upon us........each day we wake up for is one day closer to the splitting of the Eastern Sky.

Question should be: How are you/we faring now? Are we doing what God has willed us to do? Or are we simply traveling through this world concentrating on our own wishes, wants, needs, pleasures?

Good idea to live today like it is the last day you will live!

You are braver than we here here in these countries my dear. Glory to the Almighty GOD.

Peace and blessings.

We all will have our moment and knowing you sisters and brothers stand fast... I'm humbled and pray for the same strength and more for all.

one time I involve in a small ministry. I have to be at the house bible study to teach them there.

but I have throats infection so I am not come.

that day, one of my member inform my friend, that about 400 Muslim hide in the other side of the farm plan to persecute us.

that gentle man informed the owner of the house where the Bible study at. He was trembling when some people began opproach his house, his wife and his son crying he is like me, not to brave.

He he told me, suddenly a thunder storm come, people scare, they think Christian God mad.

If I am there, I do not know how scare I was, that trauma almost make me quit from that ministry.

I am aware how weak I am

Hello Jackson123,

Good thing the thunder storm came up. I keep those who are being persecuted, taken into captivity and those who are facing death, in prayer every day. I will lift you and your group up in prayer as well.

thanks brother, I am not there anymore. It's happen in about 1983, when I am young. Personally I am not see, because I was sick. Only hear from some of my member that happen to be there, that enough to make me almost quit. If not because a dream I was quit.

when I about quit, than I have a dream, in my dream Look like I was in that area, than I saw a man in front of me, about ten feet from me, then come other man with a knife, stebbed his stomach. Instead of help that man, I am scare and plan to run, I talk to myself, if I help him, I will be next victim, I better run. Than I wake up, nervous and wonder, what kind of dream it is.
I pry to the Lord ask for protection, suddenly in my mind look like some body talk to me,

a man that do not know Jesus is like injured man, blood out from his body, if no body help he will die. Than I remember one verse in the Bible said If a man know to do good, but refused to do it, it is a sin

that make me stay, any way, after that incident they scare to us, they think Christian God will mad if they bother us.

Things can get ugly before da rapture but we wont see that great and terrible day of the Lord because Jesus is gon get us out. All da church will be raptured before Jesus pours wrath on this world. Dont b scared Jesus will never destroy tha righteous with the wicked as abraham said and he aint leaving us here, he wont pour wrath on his own body members!

The End Times have been upon us for the last 2000 years. So far, so good. God is working it out perfectly.

Please bear with me for what I'm about to say? Regarding the context of 1 Thessalonians 5:9-10. And let me preface my remarks by saying nobody in their right mind does not want to go through the tribulation. Now, the Apostle Paul starts out by saying the Thessalonians know about the times and epochs (vs1) and at (vs2) how the Lord will return.

At vs3, "While they are saying peace and safety then sudden destruction." Who are the "they" in the verse? Those that are not saved. Vs4,5 Those that are saved are sons of the light and are expecting our Lord to come, we just don't know when exactly and we are to remain alert (vs6) as opposed to those who are not saved because they are in darkness and we are not.

Vs8, Since we are in light let us put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. This means to me that we are to protect ourselves for our future "deliverance/salvation" when Jesus Christ comes again. Now for vs9. For, (that word for means because) God has not destined us for wrath, (I don't beleive the wrath here has anything to do with the tribulation wrath) but the wrath for those who are not saved will be facing because they are not saved. This to me is brought out but the next sentece which says, "but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ." Vs10, "who died for us, that whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him."

Paul is saying (vs9) "God has not destined "US" meaning all of mankind for wrath which is the result of not accepting Jesus Christ in order to be saved/delievered. We gain salvation by what Jesus Christ has already done for all of mankind and we should be (vs11) building and encouraging each other up for the day of the Lord whenever that is.

In closing I would like to address what jackson123 stated. "Mixed feeling between happy and scary.

happy because we go to heaven soon, scary on intensify persecution." Everyone knows Psalm 23 and what vs4 states, "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, ( I heard many years ago that in order to have a shadow there has to be light) I fear no evil, (why) because "Thou art with me." God will never leave his children alone even though it may seem that way at times. It's also a natural thing to be scared but as 1 John 4:18 states, "Perfect love cast out fear."

The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still.
(Exodus 14:14)

what kind of '
chariots and horses' or what kind of personal 'strength, bow and sword' does anyone think can avail themselves?

For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it?
(Luke 14:28)

what/who is THE TOWER that is able to stand?

the context of the snippet from Luke 14 is '
pick up your cross and follow me' and that no one who does not love less all others, even his own self, is not worthy to be His disciple. picking up this cross and loving Christ more than all things is the foundation of the tower that can stand: picking up the cross is admission & confession of the just and righteous condemnation to death that your own sin deserves: to shoulder the instrument of your execution is to express that you are worthy of it. no one is worthy who loves anything more than God, God, who Himself bore your penalty.

this is to believe in the Son of Man - not just that He is, but that what He has done for you is both necessary and sufficient for you. if you believe in any way that you are able to stand without His intercession, then you do not believe Him.
