We know none of us can live a righteous life. We know our sins are washed clean at the Cross. Jesus paid the price for all our sins. However I've noticed such a decline in Britain (And maybe in other countries following the same lines) and especially in churches, that we have almost forgot the standards God has shown us which He intended us to live.
After passing laws in our countries which have gone against upholding Gods standards, we have in our hearts reasoned in compromise over the years and compromised teachings have eroded our righteous reasoning as a believer. I will give a few examples here, (And I'm not singling out or trying to condemn anybody as I'm showing this as a whole picture),
We have eroded the position of the authority a husband has inside a family, so many of today's families stand on crooked foundations. We have reasoned the equality act to include equality in every aspect of life over riding Gods laws and what He says. Worse still, we have brought these equality laws right into the house of God. (Before I get bombarded with hate for what I have said, I will say something here. Real equality with gender means if a man or woman goes for a job gender has no relevance. Just the ability to do the job. So if a woman can't heavy lift so can't accept the job.. Tough! If a man is not sensitive enough to cope with certain delicate issues so can't have the job. Tough! Real equality is based on output of ones work. If a man in a wheel building factory builds 20 wheels per day then he gets paid for doing 20 wheels. If a lady does only 18 she should be paid for 18 wheels. On an equal job where either gender does the same, the same pay per hour should be paid).
We have opened the door of sexual immorality in our country so many who would have thought twice have opened themselves up to the curses associated with such sins. Not only this, we are opening the doors of our churches to accept such sins as righteous living. Note, saxual immorality does not prevent anyone from coming to salvation through Jesus Christ. We are all a work in progress and this is something the Holy Spirit will work on if you let Him.
Ironically, in Britain we allow all sorts of sexual perversions but strongly condemn and victimise paedophiles which is no different an act in Gods eyes. It is all a perversion of what God has inteneded a sexual relationship between a married couple to be. In the same bracket is hetrosexual sexual relationships that are unmarried.
IM NOT CONDEMNING ANYONE BUT IM STATING THAT WE SHOULD NEVER PREACH IN OUR CHURCHES THAT SUCH SINS ARE NOT SIN BEFORE GOD! SO DONT FEEL IM AGAINST YOU PERSONALLY IF YOU FIT INTO ANY SINFUL CATAGORY. I WILL ADVIZE TO GET CLOSE TO GOD AND PRAY THAT HE WILL MOVE IN YOUR LIFE TO HELP YOU BE WHO HE WANTS YOU TO BE.
We have violated and destroyed the sunday laws that were purposely set up in the UK to give us a day to rest and worship Him! (Even those in jobs that had to work Sundays, the shifts were shared so as to allow a lighter burden and also give a different day off to allow rest. Most would be every other Sunday or one in three).
I could include many more aspects, the most important being that we no longer say we are a Christian country so in effect we are opening ourselves up to curses upon the UK rather then the blessings we once had.
We have perverted the meaning of Hell in some churches so there is no real compulsion for individuals to want to live righteous lives.
