Does someone enter the kingdom of God by just believing in Jesus, or by being like Jesus?

Does not the bible teach we are BORN into the kingdom by spiritually being born again from above?

How does God's word define the phrase "believe in Jesus"? What is the reward for believing in Jesus? Start with John 3.

Jesus said the seed must die first before it can grow. That old shell of sin can't be born again, it must die first.

Unless we have died to our old nature, faith is all we have. I might have faith in my car to start on a cold winter morning, but unless I take the action to turn the key I will never know if my car will start.

Faith without works is dead, but dead to God and alive to the world.

If faith without works is dead, then believing alone is nothing.

Nathanael had such faith

John
…47When Jesus saw Nathanael approaching, He said of him, “Here is a true Israelite, in whom there is no deceit.” 48“How do You know me?” Nathanael asked. Jesus replied, “Before Philip called you, I saw you” under the fig tree. 49“Rabbi,” Nathanael answered, “You are the Son of God! You are King of Israel!”…

I get the feeling that I'm entering the Kingdom of God every time I pray. In Heb. we are told to go boldly before the throne of God....

Shakes head..............the seed we are born of is INCORRUPTABLE and is OF GOD.....and it is FAITH alone that saves.......one must be in the VINE before they can produce 1 microgram of fruit or works.....the fruit and or works are the result OF salvation and faith ONE already possesses in Christ....

Why is this so difficult to understand.......

Depends what you mean by the kingdom

Jesus was the kingdom of God come to earth
We are saved by grace
Grace transforms us
We are to strive to be like Jesus, but we will fail, until the day we are united with God and perfected

I'm talking about the next world, not this one.

We get there by faith alone
We live in this world by our actions
