It is primarily because of my interactions on this forum, that I ask myself whether or not it would be..well, OK..to convert to Judaism.

As those of you who have read my comments on the Mark of the Beast may have noticed, I can get no sympathy from others as regards the government trying to steal my rights because I refuse to bear the number name. According to 42 USC 666 (13), I can't have an occupational license, recreational license, marriage license, or driver's license unless I bear (and repeat each time at renewal) a number name assigned to me by the government, under the authority of the United Nations (which I consider to be the image of the first beast of Revelation 13).

At the same time, when I criticized Judaism or questioned the state of Israel, those on these forums attacked me with an unprecedented vigour.

So I was wondering. If I were to convert to Judaism, would I finally have some support in the "Christian world" and this forum? Would people stop mocking me, suggesting that God is not happy with me, claiming that I don't follow in the footsteps of Jesus (Yeshua?) because I have eaten bacon? I like to imagine that I could give up bacon if people would like me and defend me for a change.

As Judaism is a religion, rather than a family, like Hebrew..well, certainly I can join and anyone can. I would have a MUCH better chance of getting a job, I'd have friends to hang out with, and I imagine that people would treat me a lot better here. Everyone could give me whatever I wanted as well as defend me. And then, at the right time, some apparently believe that I would be converted BACK..or well, not back..but converted to Messianic Judaism. And that I would be fine on the other side.

It is just an idea, and I wonder if you guys would support me in it, or would you still find some reason to kick me around and leave me out in the cold.

You say you are a Christian, so how could you convert to a religion that denies Jesus?
Are you sure you are saved?
Why not get on your knees before God and ask for His help.
The problems you think you have are nothing when compared to most in the world.

Well, let's see. So far you've been here five days, 104 posts, all arguing or talking about "the mark of the beast," judiazer, the state of Israel, and an American law, all in the BIBLE Discussion Forum... which was explained to you that civic questions would be better asked in the News forum or Misc, but apparently not good enough for you.

Truthfully, I don't even know if you are a Christian yet. I have noticed you're bound and determined a poll will answer your complex legal question though. So, would becoming a Jew change anything? Seems like it's just another word you can tack on to yourself. Did "Christian" change anything for you?

After 100 posts I can usually tell.

We all take our lumps here. Converting to Judaism could not make it better.
Doing it just so people would like you more seems an especially wretched idea.

Some Christians will treat you like garbage, talk down to you and then make posts like "I really do like to make people smile".

The nice ones are the people who make posts to try and bring people closer to God and correct misunderstandings.

The best advice I can give you is to forgive them, and if it's difficult, just ignore them. Post in the threads you like and can contribute to, and help people by encouraging them, liking their posts is usually helpful.

You can eat bacon. God cleaned those meats when He told Peter to eat them 3 times, but he kept refusing.

Acts 10:
[SUP]15 [/SUP]And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
[SUP]16 [/SUP]This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.

James 1:13
Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man

If you have truth to share regarding anything, then share it. Try not to let bullies make you bitter (difficult I know).

Hebrews 12:15
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled

You can't just convert to Judaism

You have to try to keep both. Christianity and Judaism.

Then you can be a super-christian. And everyone will love you.

But don't keep too much of the Judaism side. Otherwise others will feel compelled to keep what you keep and start despising you.

Its a fine line. But if you work real hard I think you can do it.

Perhaps if you would give us explicit instructions on how one can convince YOU, then one could then know for certain that they are saved?

What you say is true. I should not let them tempt me into being naughty. I guess I am just disappointed by what I have seen here. I suppose I can always just ignore the really weird ones, but I do think it a shame for the decent and the weird to intermingle so. It is like going to a church where the far left and far right mingle, though it is my belief that apostates should not be tolerated or encouraged...let alone fellowshipped.

Frankly, anyone who would seriously consider "converting" from Christianity to Judaism understands neither.

If that hurts your feelings, you're a snowflake.

Any other questions?

A pastor once said "The purpose of the Tribulation is for the salvation of the Jewish nation." By the way, you should count the cost required for any "conversion" to any belief. Most people don't, we're told become a Christian and live your best life now and that other when in eternity....

no you didn't question. you created a poll and when it did not go your way, you got angry. we all know that

and then someone (we all know who) called those who disagreed with your poll Jew worshippers and you jumped on board with that

It is just an idea, and I wonder if you guys would support me in it, or would you still find some reason to kick me around and leave me out in the cold.
I have to agree with depleted here. I think it would just be another label

you must have thought we would all just be gaga to read what you had to say and we would flock to your soapbox in awe and wonder

never works out that way

I can't remember when I read such a 'wha wha nobody loves me story'

It is amazing how nasty the "Christians" are here, not just to me, but to others. And how tolerant they are for the accursed Judaized religion, that even the most illiterate of our forebears would have shuddered at. And how they'd throw Luther and others who risked their lives into the trashcan to lick the boots of those guys who carry around the most blasphemous book on the planet - the Talmud. With no concern for their hexagram flag (See the magian talisman of Saturn - aka Satan - one side has the pentagram, and the other the hexagram, but that doesn't matter either to ye faithful). And how supportive of warfare they are for the sake of said other people's real estate. And the disregard for the thousands of Abraham's children blown to smithereens on the one side to the dozens lost by the practitioners of the religion of Abraham's other children on the other. And how contemptuous they are towards the traditional Christian beliefs of antiquity..the ages where people had their limbs tore out of their sockets for the sake of Christianity... And yet how the "scholars" here are too smart to see the obvious, even when their masters rub their faces in it - 42 USC 666 (13), and wouldn't even think of giving up their credit cards in the way that better folk gave up their lives. I guess that's what I really have inside, shock at the aforementioned. I think it is ugly and sorry, "scholars" dressed in beggar's rags... There, I let it out.

Why concern yourself with what others think of you? Follow Christ. You seem to be idealistic in thinking that if you convert to a religion, you will fare better in this world, which tells me you really don't understand the Gospel.

Your main concerns are what others think of you, and how you fare on earth. Those are things the lost concern themselves with.

Try this first, you've heard it before; Repent, and believe the Gospel. If you do, your concern will not be of what others think of you, and of worldly notions -- all of that will be swallowed up by your relationship to Christ who can save you from your sin.
