This week so far has been a bit stressful for me with work. As i was reading my devotional this morning,this verse from John 14:27 was in my daily reading. This verse help bring peace and calmness to me as i read it. I just wanted to share it hope this helps someone who may need it. Take care and may God bring peace to each one of you on here. Love you guys

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.

That goes along with one of my favorite verses.
Philippians 4:6,7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

God's peace among the storms of life is a promise we can take to the bank.

Verses 8 and 9 are also greatly helpful. If we set our minds on these things, the peace will come.

Finally, brethren,
whatever is true,
whatever is honorable,
whatever is right,
whatever is pure,
whatever is lovely,
whatever is of good repute,
if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise,
dwell on these things.
The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me,
practice these things,
and the God of peace will be with you.

Thanks so much for posting your verse.
I've got a composition book I've been writing in.
I add things that help me through the day when the pain is severe...
when the lack of sleep hits
when life is difficult.

Your scripture and the one I posted is going to be added to my book. :)

I need all the encouragement I can find for those difficult seasons of life.
The unfortunate thing is that those seasons hit more than four times per year.

But God is amazing, and God gives us peace when it seems there's none to be found.
Nothing is too difficult with God.

He's a miracle God, the upside down God.
What I feel or think naturally, if I turn it upside down I find God.

yep the world can not give a peace. AS soon AS we shifting our eyes to the world, It shifted the peace into trouble.

stay in Jesus is the only way to Find a peace, not a wealth or power
