this is all paraphrased, (means i put this in a language people can understand)
ole martin studied the bible and realized, salvation came thru repentance, and being forgiven. So he asked and rreceived foregiveness

then he got to thinking, what if he forgot some sins, now he was in a termoil, maybe he wasn't saved, he thought over his life, and tried as hard as he could, to remember every sin he ever committed.

Not fully assured, he went to God and again asked for foregiveness, he then realized that while he had been concentrating on the past, he had probably committed more sins. He repented, and asked for foregiveness

You all know 1John 1:9

So every sin he committed he would repent and ask for foregiveness. he slowly was losing his mind, he spent so much time asking for foregiveness, his work began to suffer.

Then out of the blue a new wrinkle, what if he was doing something that God thought was a sin, he tried to recall anything he might have done, that might have offended God. He slowly started to hate this whole system.

then he became a teacher of the bible, and thru reading, the word, he found an interesting verse, The RIGHTEOUS ARE JUSTIFIED BY FAITH

he realized he could never repent enough, or on his own be good enough.
this is where the 96 thesis came in.

Agree with all, except two minor nitpicks, (and I think the second was just a typo anyway.):

1. He became a student. He had to learn before he taught, and that moment when he finally figured out "God did it all," was merely the beginning of his learning. Like Helen Keller finally getting w-a-t-e-r meant that wet stuff she drank.

2. 95 Theses.

JESUS DID IT ALL
So he was not Baptized with the Holy Spirit and made up theology for all those to believe in their unbelief.

1 Peter 1

[h=1]1 Peter 1King James Version (KJV)[/h]1 Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, to the strangers scattered throughout Pontus, Galatia, Cappadocia, Asia, and Bithynia,
2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
6 Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:
7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:
9 Receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls.
10 Of which salvation the prophets have enquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
11 Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.
12 Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.
13 Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;
14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:
15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;
16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.
17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;
19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot:
20 Who verily was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you,
21 Who by him do believe in God, that raised him up from the dead, and gave him glory; that your faith and hope might be in God.
22 Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
24 For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away:
25 But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

Luther began by wanting to reform Catholicism. Obviously that didn't work so his followers protested Catholicism and that's where we get the word Protestant (Protest-ant) Indulgences was his main problem with Catholicism, but for the most part he didn't protest against but only a part of this Roman religion. Even today, there are many traditions that protestants continue that were originally endorsed by the Catholics. The main reason that he originally had so many problems with his own self sin is because he was trained in a monastery (according to self righteousness) as a monk.

If Martin repented and believed and was Baptized with the Holy Spirit he would of been guided and comforted... you share that he was forever asking to be forgiven and got tired of the system...

It appears that he had not been born again of a incorruptible seed...

in his frustration he found a verse that seemed to answer his frustrations and set about to teach others his doctrine.

In their unbelief one could be deceived and adhere to His theology instead of the Messiah's Testimony.

obviously we know not if he repented and believed after spreading his doctrines and creating a following etc... but Martin Luther is no different to any other and took to establish a belief system... and many churches today have his name...

Martin Luther was preceded by many over the centuries who protested the abuses of the RCC.

John Wycliffe rarely gets the recognition he deserves but he was martyred for the same biblical principles long before Luther. We should not take away the credit Luther deserves, but he had a hard time giving up a lot of Catholic baggage. He also persecuted the Anabaptists which was uncalled for.

peter was a man, so to you only those in the Bible are not men,
i actually feel bad foryou, he did the law thing and it diddn't work the jews do the law and it doesn't work, churches all across america do the law thing and it doesn't work.

pull up the stats on the decline of the church, its because the law doesn't work.
didn't work then and the elitist americans oh we can do it.

if Jesus is our healing which he is if you believe, then why is the church the sickest people in the world
THE LAW CANNOT BE KEPT

JESUS IS THE WAY martin luther realized that and went to Jesus for salvation

Are you sure he started the reformation?
Luther may have been the catalyst, but dissatisfaction with the corruption and false doctrine of the RCC had already been expressed earlier. John Wycliffe and Jan (John) Hus preceded Luther.
