Well let me know when it happens, because I am post.
That will give me time to get ready.

If a bunch of people disappear, you will know it happened. Don't buy all ththe excuses th main stream media tries to say explains it.

Then agian, when you see the abomination of desolation happen, know your in for a few years of hell on earth,

either way, trust God, he is in control

No, we can know the season, all the signs can be done, it does not mean it will immediately happen, it still may take 100 years,

no nman knows

The day day or the hour is not known.. but we must keep watch and I believe the end is near but how near.. yes could be ten or 100 though I would lean to within 10... the important thing is to be ready and never delay it in our heart for anything here on earth..

Example...

Lord don't come this week because I'm going on vacation or anything else ... or even.. not today Lord I'm watching the super bowl for those abiding over the pond ...

We have to be patient.. our hope and homesickness can make us eager for something that is going to be terrible here on earth before He returns.

Yes, whether it is preteib, mid or post. All that matters is we are ready, and are doing Gods work of bringing the gospel to the lost world so they too are ready.

There is no such thing as a post tribulation rapture....Rapture is a catching up of the bride..We leave the planet altogether...Post trib, there is a gathering together of believers, some of whom have missed the rapture, and nobody leaves the Earth. Those that missed the rapture have gone through the hellish seven years at that point.

The Amil seems to work for the best for me today. It was popular at the fifthteenth century reformation. The thousand is not a literal number used in those parables. It signifies a unknown as to whatever is in veiw, time senitive or not.Christ will come on the last day, the day of the Lord, like a theif in the night The new earth with no Sea or Sun as a time keeper appears... it is the end of this corrutped world as we know it. We walk by faith as those who do not require a sign before they will believe. Christ said no sign will be given, again we walk by faith as those who have not received the promise of our new incorutptible bodies.

In the twinkling of the eye

And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received not the promise:God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect. Heb 11:40

Amillennialism is essentially UNBELIEF. A rejection of the Bible truth that the Lord Jesus Christ will literally establish the Kingdom of God on earth and reign for one thousand years with His saints. A Millennium = 1,000 years (Greek chilia ete) and that term occurs in Revelation 20 six times in seven verses. So "Amil" is shorthand for "Amillennialist".

Amillennialists believe -- without any proof whatsoever -- that we are already in the Millennium, even though Satan walks about as a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. According to Scripture, however, Satan is bound during those thousand years, while Christ rules this earth with a "rod of iron", which means that there will be universal righteousness, peace and prosperity during that time. Since this is after the battle of Armageddon, all of Christ's enemies have already been destroyed.

Mat 13:39 (Young's) and the enemy who sowed them is the devil, and the harvest is a full end of the age, and the reapers are messengers

Jesus tells us that the harvest was to be at the end of the age - when was the end of the age and what age was Jesus living in?

1 Co 2:7 (Young's) but we speak the hidden wisdom of God in a secret, that God foreordained before the ages to our glory,

1 Co 2:8 (Young's) which no one of the rulers of this age did know, for if they had known, the Lord of the glory they would not have crucified.

Paul is stating in the above that the "rulers" of the age he was living in crucified the Lord of Glory

So who are the "rulers" Paul is speaking of - some claim that the Romans were the crucifiers of Christ for it was they that placed him on the cross.

But both Peter and Paul place the ultimate blame on the Jews and especially the Jewish rulers.

Act 3:15 (Young's) and the Prince of the life ye did kill, whom God did raise out of the dead, of which we are witnesses;

Act 3:17 (Young's) And now, brethren, I have known that through ignorance ye did it, as also your rulers

The Greek word "archon" is translated as rulers in the above and in 1 Cor 2:8.

So for the Jewish nation the rulers of "this age" were the Temple leaders and Sanhedrin.

When did the age of this rule end?

It ended with war of 66-70 AD - the temple went *poof* along with the rulers of that age.

What this means is we are now in the age of Messiah - the rulers of that age in which Jesus was manifested and killed are long gone:

Heb 9:26 (Young's) since it had behoved him many times to suffer from the foundation of the world, but now once, at the full end of the ages, for putting away of sin through his sacrifice, he hath been manifested.

Jesus promised to be with the apostles in power until the end of the age - this was not a general broadcast message to Christians from then until now:

Mat 28:16 (Young's) And the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mount where Jesus appointed them,

Mat 28:18 (Young's) And having come near, Jesus spake to them, saying, 'Given to me was all authority in heaven and on earth;

Mat 28:19 (Young's) having gone, then, disciple all the nations, (baptizing them -- to the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit)

Mat 28:28 (Young's) teaching them to observe all, whatever I did command you,) and lo, I am with YOU all the days -- till the full end of the age.

The ministry of the Apostles was specifically identified with power and signs:

Acts 1:8 but ye shall receive power at the coming of the Holy Spirit upon you, and ye shall be witnesses to me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and Samaria, and unto the end of the earth.'

2 Co 12:12 (Young's) The signs, indeed, of the apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

The end of "this" age of the Jewish rulers who killed the Lord Jesus ended by 70 AD and Jesus was with the Apostles "till the full end of the age."

The end of the age is the end of the world. And the messengers are angels. We are in the last days- the stage before the end of the world. Harvest day means Judgement day- which also means the end of the world.

What are you afraid of?
Maybe if you lived in my neighborhood, the final 7 years wouldn't scare you.

I agree, no sign will be given,

but gd uses prophesy to prove his god, his own decree is when he says it will happen, it happens exactly like he wait it will that way no on can question,

1000 yeas is 1000 years, or lose God tri d to deceive us, and we can not use that prophesy to prove is is any better than Nostradamus,

Why would 7 years scare anyone? God said ther will be great tribulation, should I be scared or trust him?

I think on God's schedule we are somewhere around 11:49 P.M. (IST Israel standard time) on Friday, just before the 1000 yr reign of Christ on Saturday (Shabbot).

Could be off a minute or 2 though.

I think on God's schedule we are somewhere around 11:49 P.M. (IST Israel standard time) on Friday, just before the 1000 yr reign of Christ on Saturday (Shabbot).

Could be off a minute or 2 though.

So if you are able to accept the premise that God is operating on a 7 day week, not only for creation, but for creation time to play out. And you further accept the premise, mentioned twice in Scripture, that a day is like a thousand yrs to the Lord, and that we have had approximately 6000 yrs of recorded human history, then it stands to reason the "last days" are a reference to Thursday and Friday.

Try reading the passages dealing with "the last days" with that premise in mind.

Obviously not saying this is established doctrine, but it clears up some confusing passages for me, like Hosea 6.

[h=1]Hosea 6New King James Version (NKJV)[/h][h=3]A Call to Repentance[/h]6 Come, and let us return to the Lord;
For He has torn, but He will heal us;
He has stricken, but He will bind us up.
2 After two days He will revive us;
On the third day He will raise us up,
That we may live in His sight.
3 Let us know,
Let us pursue the knowledge of the Lord.
His going forth is established as the morning;
He will come to us like the rain,
Like the latter and former rain to the earth.

Speaking about Israel here. After 2 days (2000 yrs.) He will revive them.

On the 3rd day (1000 yr Reign of Christ on Earth) they will live in His Presence.

I know, I know. A lot of premises to accept. No worries! We're all gonna see if it happens.

I prefer to think of myself as late middle age. I hit 70 next month
Let me know how that works. I do the same in 12 more months. I turn 69 in two days.
