I know that many here may be offended and want to fight. I'm not going to answer this again. Just this post here and nothing more. If you want to fight, you will not fight with me. ;)

I know that you have seen these verses before. About the rapture, the catching up of the bride, and I'm aware that there is an active thread on the rapture now. My point though in posting this, separate from the Rapture post is this. NOT ALL CHRISTIANS will be raptured. So many times in the bible it says to be ready. The Bride has made herself ready. Are you ready? If not, make yourself ready. The time is very short.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 - For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Thessalonians 4:17 - Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Corinthians 15:52 - In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
Hebrews 9:28 - So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

So....OK I'm saying something. Somebody is bound to ask. "How do I make myself ready?" I asked the same question. Here is what God told me.

Correct me if I am wrong.
Being taken depends on what YOU do.
How do you know you have done enough?
This could be very unnerving.
This could cause a new believer to live in fear.

Genesis 5:24

Here's what God told me... Brother Glen

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

8:30 Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

8:31 What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

8:32 He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth.

8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Indeed. Not to say very misleading.

Since every believer is baptized or immersed into the Body of Christ by the Holy Spirit, and every believer is therefore a member (body part) of the Body of Christ, it is highly unlikely (nay impossible) that Christ will return to Heaven at the Resurrection/Rapture with an amputated Body.

12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

13
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

14
For the body is not one member, but many. (1 Corinthians 12:12-14)

Good day Denadii,

I agree with everything that you said in your post except for the following:

Luke 17:34-37
[SUP]34 [/SUP]I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
[SUP]35 [/SUP]Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
[SUP]36 [/SUP]Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
[SUP]37 [/SUP]And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.
There are two things here to take into consideration when interpreting this:

1). The "one taken" is being compared to those "taken" in the flood, which would make those taken as being the wicked

2). And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

Many believe that this "one taken" is in reference to the living in Christ being gathered (rapture). But in the scripture, the "one taken" is being compared to those taken in the flood, which would make those taken as representing the wicked.

After Jesus says "One will be taken and the other left" the disciples then ask him, "Where, Lord?" That is, where are they going to be taken? (Luke 17:37) Then the Lord responds with "wherever there is a dead body there will the vultures gather."

This would be a pretty strange response if the "One taken" was representing the living church being gathered.

Seeing that this has to do with the Lord's return to the earth to end the age, then the Lord's response has to do with the following event which takes place as he is returning to the earth:

"Then I saw an angel standing in the sun, and he cried out in a loud voice to all the birds flying overhead, “Come, gather together for the great supper of God, so that you may eat the flesh of kings and commanders and mighty men, of horses and riders, of all men slave and free, small and great.”

At the time when the Lord returns to the earth, the angels will go out and first collect the weeds/wicked and will bring them back to where all of those kings, their generals, the mighty men, their horses will have been gathered. At that point the double-edged sword that comes out of the Lord's mouth, which is figurative representing the word of God, will kill all of those gathered there and the birds/vultures will gorge themselves on their flesh.

Therefore, the "One taken" are the wicked who will be taken to be killed. And the Lord's reference to "wherever there is a dead body there will the vultures gather" is in reference to those birds that the angel will gathered for the supper of the great God, where the birds will eat their flesh.

In conclusion, the "one taken" is not representing the rapture, but the wicked being taken by the angels to be killed, where they will all be eaten by the birds/vultures.

You know even when times were good for some reason lately at least in the past four months I have been longing to go home more than ever, and as i was laying down to take a nap today I once again found myself longing to be home even for just a little bit for no real reason and I asked God why I keep feeling this and then a thought appeared in my mind, what if the reason I keep becoming homesick is because maybe my soul is being called home and the time is near.

Of course I don't know about any of that personally I cannot see any evidence that we are going home soon in fact most of the time I don't even think I could go home even if the time came, I mean what makes me even hope that I would allowed to go home? Yet if I was worthy in his eyes to go home I still cannot seem to think it's any time soon and I am, not being negative or depressed I am just stating how it is for me. I see the signs yes I always pay attention to them but it's just exhausting because there are always signs there have always been signs.

"Its coming really soon!"

I am hearing this for whole my life.

But because we can die tomorrow in the street, we should be prepare no matter if we live in "the last times" or not.

Same foolishness we saw 2 years ago....around this same time...what is it now denadii, the day of atonement 2017...9/23/17....betcha you were part of the frantic proclaiming it back on 9/23/15 as well...

Now we have a mini rapture, that not all partake in....do you guys really look at the stuff you post?

This is a teaching rabbi Jonathan Cahn had to come up with when his Blood Moon rapture never happened on 9/23/15...he then had to start talking multiple mini raptures to keep the money coming in and to keep from losing credibility...Him and Jim Bakker, Mark Blitz and John Hagee all preach this nonsense...

Whats next denadii, when this one does not happen either...just a suggestion, but maybe you ought to be caught doing the Lords Work when he comes back ....and not spreading FUD and doing nothing...

Now it's sooner.

Proving futurist theologies wrong one day at a time.
The funny thing is that every generation of Christians thinks they are the last one.

From the first century, through 1000 AD (when the prophetical seeing of end was really intense) till our generation (because of the state of Israel).

Something I do not understand. You folks teach that all the saved are "the church". You teach that "the church" will be "raptured". Now you say only part of "the church" will be "raptured" and some will be left behind. Very confusing.
Well it also goes back to the 10 virgins. How 5 of the virgins were prepared & had oil in their lamps. While the other 5 identified as foolish virgins were unprepared and didn't have oil left. The lord came and took those who were prepared while the others who were unprepared were locked out.

"Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven"

The above is an excerpt representing those who consider themselves believers, but are trusting in their own works.

Hymeneus and Philetus considered themselves believers, but were teaching that the resurrection had already taken place. Because of their teaching, Paul called it godless chatter, that it would spread like gangrene and that they had wandered away from the truth.

Peter referred to Paul's letters as wisdom from God and as scripture. And those who were distorting them as being ignorant and unstable and doing so to their own destruction. - 2 Pet.3:16

There are certain things that are detrimental to salvation for those who believe, as those I have mentioned above.

That said, as believers in Christ, we are told to watch. This is what the parable of the ten virgins represents. Five of those did not bring extra oil with them, which the scripture represents as "watchful readiness."

Consequently, those who are believing that Christ has already come and that the resurrection has already taken place, fall under the same banner as Hymeneus and Philetus, who by their teaching had wandered away from the truth.

If one is claiming to be in Christ, but is relying on the works of the law, they will not inherit the kingdom of God.

There are groups out there claiming to be in Christ, but consider Paul a false apostle and a liar. These people will not inherit the kingdom of God, because they distort Paul's letters, which the Lord gave him, as being false and they do so to their own destruction.

The five foolish virgins are those believers without oil, i.e. not being watchful and ready.

So you see, not everyone who claims to belong to Christ is of Christ.
