Who will our Lord be sparing from the time of tribulation?

"They shall be mine," says the Lord of hosts, "in that day when I make up my jewels. And I will spare them as a man spares an obedient and dutiful son. Then you will see the difference between Gods treatment of good men and bad, between those who serve Him and those who don't.

People who are abiding in Christ are ready, for they have received his righteousness as a gift of mercy purchased by his blood. They are ones who are no longer under the law of Moses, but redeemed from its curses. Jesus fulfilled the law for them.

They are the ones who have surrendered themselves to Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to do His works through them.
They are the ones who are given the Holy Spirit's fruit of love to worship and serve others.
They are the ones who are loved and accepted unconditionally.

It is called GRACE.

1 Thessalonians 1:

9 For they themselves shew of us what manner of entering in we had unto you, and how ye turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God;

10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come.

Wait = Greek anamenō = (from 303 /aná, "up, completing a process," which intensifies 3306 /ménō, "wait, remain") – properly, earnestly wait; actively wait with rising intensity and clarity about what is hoped for (note the prefix, ana)
