[FONT=&quot]There are 10 places where people were raised from the dead in the Bible:
Elijah raised the widow's son (1 Kin 17:17-24).
Elisha raised the Shunammites son (2 Kin 4:18-37).
A dead man came to life when his body was set on the dead bones of Elisha (2 Kin 13:20-21).
Jesus raised a widow's son (Lk 7:11-15).
Jesus raised the daughter of Jarius (Lk 8:41-42,49-56).
Jesus raised Lazarus (Jn 11:1-46).
Jesus was resurrected (Mt 28)(Mk 16)(Lk 24)(Jn 20-21).
Many dead saints came out of their graves after Jesus' resurrection (Mt 27:51-53)
Peter raised Tabitha (Dorcas) (Acts 9:36-51).
Paul raised Eutychus (Acts 20:9-12).

a case can be made for Jonah, as well, who prayed from the belly of the fish:

Water encompassed me to the point of death.
The great deep engulfed me,
Weeds were wrapped around my head.
I descended to the roots of the mountains.
The earth with its bars was around me forever,
But You have brought up my life from the pit,
O Lord my God.

(Jonah 2:5-6)

was he drowned, and resurrected? he is one of the strongest types of Christ in the scripture; Christ Himself declares that Jonah is "
the only sign" that will be given to "a wicked and adulterous generation" - though how many signs had Christ also performed? what Jesus says is profound.

speaking of where the Bible relates men living, though they had died, there is the transfiguration ((Matthew 17)), where Moses and Elijah talked with Jesus.

also, in 1 Samuel 28, Saul visiting the witch at Endor, we have Samuel talking with Saul - though it may be disputed whether this was actually Samuel, the scripture itself gives no indication that it is anyone but him.

thirdly ((tho quite likely there's more haven't come to my mind)) there's the beast that comes up out of the sea in Revelation in Revelation 17. John is "astonished" and the angel speaking with him chides him for it, and explains that the beast was, and is not, and will be again, and that the damned will be astonished when they see the beast. so at the time John received this revelation, the beast was, and is not. it's speculated, on the basis of John being astonished, that he, like those who will worship the beast at the time he reappears, recognized the beast. if this is so, the beast that comes out of the sea may also have a place in this list if only tangentially, as the counterfeit resurrection of the antichrist.
