It amazes me is that it is usually the KJV-only proponents who make significant negative claims regarding the accuracy and soundness of the newer translations, and then make statements like the above, about "foolish attacks" on the KJV. Aside from opinions, preferences, reason and research, I have seen very little in the way of "attacks" of any kind upon the KJV... foolish or otherwise.

I am King James only because I believe God left a perfect bible here on earth. There cannot be multiple perfect versions because they all say different things. I realize my stance annoys people. I shared this playlist for the King James supporters to watch and if anyone has a rebuttal please feel free to leave a comment on one of their vids. Not here to debate.

God said he would preserve his words here on earth.

Psalm 12:6-7
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

When a thread is started as a troll thread, that's what you get....

What wouldest thou deem to tell us about the KJV that we haven't already been made privy to?

It's good that you aren't here to debate. This topic has been discussed at great length around here. I would encourage you to read through the latest thread on the subject. Consider how the each side presents their arguments (in the sense of reasoning, not verbal warfare) and whether they are rational, logical, and actually deal with the challenges presented. Consider whether the scriptural evidence given and the explanations provided is consistent with principles of sound hermeneutics. You might learn a thing or two along the way as well, particularly about the verse you quoted above.

Then again you could say KJV only statements are nothing new lol. I just felt like sharing. That's all. I knew people were gonna make jokes. Not here to start a war.

It's the KJV.

Just another version. With several errors. Love the ESV, NASB, YLT, NKJV myself though. They all got rid of that stuff the KJV added in. I like my versions with no additives. :D

I believe the King James Version of the bible to be perhaps the most inspired Version, but as for interpretation I look to God for the "Best" understanding,"for in the beginning was the word and the word was God" so reading any bible is only a portion of "God's Word" the rest you learn from the "holy spirit"!

The very preface states they compared and copied from the earlier English versions....Ole King Jimmy.....I heard a preacher say that Jesus taught using the King Jimmy and a deacon say that if it was good enough for Paul it was good enough for him.....the epitome of King Jimmy worship.................yeah I said it!

Of course bro as we all should! No one can understand the word of God without the Holy Spirit.

These people spend more time arguing for their errant version than reading it. I was around them in the past, for years. Every sermon turns into a KJVO brain-washing sermon. :D

I heard that.....once I was teaching and I use a Cambridge King Jimmy black letter edition wide margin (look all words up in Greek and Hebrew)....anyway...was teaching and I read 1 (one) verse put of an amplified version and you would think the gates of hell were opened and the legions of hell came spewing forth.....I have found that most churches that have this King Jimmy only spirit are also very legalistic in their approach to the word....
