I believe God has a desire for human companionship so man was created. I believe that God wants to be loved. Satan was probably with God or near God when God made the earth and created man.

Genesis 6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

It was evil going on twenty-four hours a day. Jesus referred to this time when He was asked how it would be just prior to His return, in Matthew 24:37. It is going to be just like it was in Noah's time when our Lord returns. Because Satan and his angels will be cast out of heaven and walking the earth. If you are living in a fairy tale land, and thinking of angels as some ghostly figures, my friend you will be deceived, for both you and they are made in the same image.

Revelation 12:7 And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,

This war will come to a conclusion very shortly, and for Michael and his forces are far superior to Satan's.

Revelation 12:8 And prevailed not, neither was their place found any more in heaven.

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Did you catch that? Satan and his band of angelic beings are going to visit us on earth, and we are told in Revelation 9:1 that this will be the sounding of the fifth trumpet. Friend, we are in the last generation, and the fifth trumpet is sounded before the seventh trumpet, which is the coming of our Lord. We will see Satan presenting himself as the Antichrist. the counterfeit of the true Christ, Jesus Christ. If you are expecting to fly out of here in a rapture, then you don't stand a prayer of a chance against the Antichrist's deceptions coming upon the earth.

In Matthew 24:38, 39 Jesus told us; "For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

Jesus is telling us, this isn't the Messiah that you will be worshipping. This is Satan and his bunch of misfits, and fallen angels that will deceived many, for all the people in the final generation will be deceived, except for God's elect.

We can also read of these misfits in the first four verses of Jude. They are the "men who crept in unawares, ordained to condemnation, and denying our Lord Jesus Christ". It's amazing how the only book that offers any hope and salvation against the world wide destruction that will fall upon our generation, is treated worse than a dime store novel and thrown on the shelves of Christian homes. You would probably read the novel before the Word of God.

This book given us by God pinpoints exactly what we are to face, as this earth age comes to a close in our generation.

Paul's second warning came in II Corinthians 11:3-4, where Paul warns women that Satan and his false ministers will come and seduce you again, as the "serpent wholly seduced [beguiled] Eve". Paul is telling the ladies that they had better get their head's covered, with the veil of truth. We must understand that our generation is in the final days, and these things are going to be happening again and will catch the minds of most people asleep, and draw them into the Antichrist's (instead of Christ in the Greek) deception.

The deception of a false joy will leave you totally defenseless, as a scorpion sting, and all except "God's elect", those sealed in their minds with the knowledge of God's Word, will be defenseless upon At Satan's arrival on earth. This is spelled out in Revelation 9:3-4. When these fallen angels are walking on the earth, it will be the events of Noah's time all over again.

Genesis 6:6 And it repented the Lord that He had made man on the earth, and it grieved Him at His heart.

This was a hard thing for God to accept. His plan was so fouled up, that He gave up on all mankind except for Noah and his family, and two of every kind. These misfits of angelic beings, came to destroy all mankind; to reveal the hidden secrets of old, and block the plan of God.

1) Why did God create mankind, when he foreknew that mankind would cause Him so much sorrow?

God created human beings to willingly and voluntarily love Him and serve Him, and also to be in fellowship with Him. And God already had a plan to redeem unto Himself those who would be joined to the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ. The Church would become the Lamb's Wife, and live in eternal fellowship with the triune Godhead. Study Ephesians.

2) Where was Satan, when God made the earth, and created man?
Satan was at that time a cherub and the chief angel in Heaven known as Lucifer. Shortly thereafter he became the Adversary (which is what ha Satan means).

Hi buddy,

1. To show mankind that they needed him. They can not walk righteously without the Lord. In this God shows us that He is God and we are not.

2. The angels were with God when He created the heavens and the earth. They were created before hand.

a. God loves his creation and man was the crowning event of creation...I personally believe the word regretted is not used the way we would use it because it is tied to grieved (deeply troubled) God obviously knew this would take place and as he looked down upon man he grieved over their state and what they had become.....As a machinist I have made many parts for jets, missiles, the space shuttle etc. and a certain perfectionist view is developed in machinists because we deal with such tight tolerances....and when we occasionally miss it or machine a part that is acceptable, but not up to par it bothers us because we did not meet our expectation of perfection if you will.....that is how I look at it.

b. Satan.....I personally believe there is evidence based upon the use of the word of GOOD (acceptable or useable) in the first chapter of GENESIS to prove that Lucifer had already fallen and become Satan before the earth was created or (renovated) depending on one's view. Satan is described as the Prince of the Power of the air and in Genesis when God creates the firmament and identifies it as heaven he does not apply the word "GOOD" unto it like he does everything else.

In verse 6, The Hebrew word "nah cham' " which is translated as regretted would be better translated as sorrowed.

I believe that God created mankind because He wanted a creature who was able to love Him.
The price God paid for a creature who was able to love Him was that He got a creature who was able NOT to love Him.

Love cannot be programmed, it must be voluntary.

God was disappointed that only Noah and his family chose to honor Him even though He knew before hand that it would be that way.

1) It was the "choice/s" that mankind made, that grieved Lord God so. Not the actually making mankind "flesh".

2) Going "to and fro". A sweeping with his tale/tail, and doing his DAMNEDEST, in causing you to ask question #1.

Question for you. How ya think Satan did?

I suppose for the right answer you must ask God himself, he has not revealed to us till yet. So we can only speculate. But this will not help you realy :)

King James Bible
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, who didst rise in the morning? how art thou fallen to the earth, that didst wound the nations?

How art thou fallen from heaven, Lucifer, son of the morning! Thou art cut down to the ground, that didst prostrate the nations!

1-Well of course no one can really give you an answer on why God did anything. What we do know is what he did next and that is that he found a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and that man walked faithfully with God.
And through that man he saved "us"
Indeed, the waters of judgment did come upon the earth, a whole vast "world civilization" was destroyed some four or five thousand years ago--but four men and four women, and representative pairs of all the animals survived. They were to repopulate the earth under a fresh new covenant God made with Noah. (Genesis 6-9, 2 Peter 2)

2-Satan was there with God when God made man, He was one of the highest angels.

Scripture says that Jesus was predestined for the Cross, and was crucified "before" the foundation of the world. Was the only way for mankind to freely desire God, and created in His image.

Lucifer was the angel that apparently had a ministry of worship.

A lot of people think that, why would God create mankind if there would be so much hurt, and problems,on earth.

Rom 8:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
Rom 8:36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.
Rom 8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
Rom 8:38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Rom 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

But it does not matter what happens on earth, for all people can cry out to God to make the situation better, for nothing can stop us from crying out to God,and being on His side, and that is all that matters.

It is because of Adam and Eve sinning, causing all that is born to know good and evil,so we are born not knowing God,and we will do wrong, before we come to God,so all are sinners, and fall short of the glory of God.

Pro 30:11 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.
Pro 30:12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.
Pro 30:13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.
Pro 30:14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.

Mat 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

2Ti 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
2Ti 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

So we do not get it good like the garden of Eden, and wickedness will increase, and get worse as time goes on,because that is the direction that the world is going, until the world ends up at the beast kingdom, when the transgressors come to the full, then a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences shall stand up,and deceive all who do not love God.

Mat 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

So because of people's wickedness natural disasters happen, and they get worse as time goes on,and people hurt each other more, and are hateful more.

Rom 1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Rom 1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Rom 1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Rom 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Rom 1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

But we can all cry out to God,for nothing can stop us from crying out to God,and being on His side, and the proof, and the truth, and the witness, are clearly seen by the things that are made, for God showed it unto them, that testify there is a God that created all things, and of His attributes, which one of the is love, for He provided food, and a means to make clothing, and shelter,so people should honor and love this higher power, and love people.

Mat 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbour: therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

That is how the world will be judged that did not hear the word of God,or did not know sufficiently, love God,and love people,ad creation testifies of this,so they are without excuse.

Lucifer was created perfect in his ways until iniquity was found in him,and then he and some of the angels rebelled against God.

Lucifer then became known by the name Satan, and was kicked out of the third heaven before God created anything, and is the prince of the power of the air.

If Lucifer had not rebelled God would of not created the world, and people.

Yes, the LORD our GOD could have easily CREATED us biological ROBOTS, that can only think and function in a way that pleases HIM. HOWEVER, what genuinely PLEASES HIM, is when a created being out of genuine LOVE for GOD, choses to walk in obedience to HIM. Functioning as biological ROBOT, would BRING NO GLORY TO GOD, but when we CHOOSE to obey out of genuine LOVE FOR GOD, we are GLORIFYING GOD, which is the reason GOD gave us the ability to CHOOSE.

GOD MUST BE GLORIFIED:

Leviticus 10:3 (NKJV)
[SUP]3 [/SUP] And Moses said to Aaron, "This is what the LORD spoke, saying: 'By those who come near Me I must be regarded as holy; And before all the people I must be glorified.' " So Aaron held his peace.

Joshua 24:14-15 (ESV)
[SUP]14 [/SUP] “Now therefore fear the LORD and serve him in sincerity and in faithfulness. Put away the gods that your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD.
[SUP]15 [/SUP] And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the LORD, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Joshua 24:21-24 (ESV)
[SUP]21 [/SUP] And the people said to Joshua, “No, but we will serve the LORD.
[SUP]22 [/SUP] Then Joshua said to the people, “You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen the LORD, to serve him.” And they said, “We are witnesses.
[SUP]23 [/SUP] He said, “Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your heart to the LORD, the God of Israel.”
[SUP]24 [/SUP] And the people said to Joshua, “The LORD our God we will serve, and his voice we will obey.

Satan at one time was a very high ranking ANGEL, but he began to covet the position of GOD, and started a rebellion in Heaven, probably during creation. As that high ranking Angel, his name was LUCIFER. After the fall to earth, he is known as Satan or the Devil.

Isaiah 14:12-15 (NKJV)
[SUP]12 [/SUP] "How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations!
[SUP]13 [/SUP] For you have said in your heart: 'I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;
[SUP]14 [/SUP] I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.'
[SUP]15 [/SUP] Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.

Matthew 4:8-11 (HCSB)
[SUP]8 [/SUP] Again, the Devil took Him to a very high mountain and showed Him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor.
[SUP]9 [/SUP] And he said to Him, “I will give You all these things if You will fall down and worship me.
[SUP]10 [/SUP] Then Jesus told him, “Go away, Satan! For it is written: Worship the Lord your God, and serve only Him.”
[SUP]11 [/SUP] Then the Devil left Him, and immediately angels came and began to serve Him.

1 John 5:19 (NCV)
[SUP]19 [/SUP] We know that we belong to God, but the Evil One controls the whole world.

Satan was at that time a cherub and the chief angel in Heaven known as Lucifer. Shortly thereafter he became the Adversary (which is what ha Satan means).
Like I said, there is no Lucifer - you amateur theologians need to study up more.

The myth of Lucifer originated with the Vulgate "translation":

Isa 14:12 quomodo cecidisti de caelo lucifer qui mane oriebaris corruisti in terram qui vulnerabas gentes.

Unfortunately this error was further promoted by the KJV translators although they did give a note in the margin "O day star" in the right hand margin.

But that didn't stop the myth when compounded by fawlty theology assigning Isa 14:12 to satan rather than the real "day star" Nebuchadnezzer.

Adam Clarke's commentary:

Verse 12

O Lucifer, son of the morning - The Versions in general agree in this translation, and render הילל heilel as signifying Lucifer, Φωσφωρος, the morning star, whether Jupiter or Venus; as these are both bringers of the morning light, or morning stars, annually in their turn.

And although the context speaks explicitly concerning Nebuchadnezzar, yet this has been, I know not why, applied to the chief of the fallen angels, who is most incongruously denominated Lucifer, (the bringer of light!) an epithet as common to him as those of Satan and Devil.

That the Holy Spirit by his prophets should call this arch-enemy of God and man the light-bringer, would be strange indeed.

But the truth is, the text speaks nothing at all concerning Satan nor his fall, nor the occasion of that fall, which many divines have with great confidence deduced from this text.

O how necessary it is to understand the literal meaning of Scripture, that preposterous comments may be prevented!

Besides, I doubt much whether our translation be correct. הילל heilel, which we translate Lucifer, comes from ילל yalal, yell, howl, or shriek, and should be translated, "Howl, son of the morning;" and so the Syriac has understood it; and for this meaning Michaelis contends: see his reasons in Parkhurst, under הלל halal .

(Isa 14:13 KJV) For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

Adam Clarke's commentary:

Verse 13

I will ascend into heaven - I will get the empire of the whole world. I will exalt my throne above the stars of God - above the Israelites, who are here termed the stars of God. So the Targum of Jonathan, and R. D. Kimchi. This chapter speaks not of the ambition and fall of Satan, but of the pride, arrogance, and fall of Nebuchadnezzar.

Consider yerselves corrected once again..

Contributing to derailment...Lucifer = Copycat of Jesus Christ.
Lucifer = "light-bearer"shining one, morning star, Lucifer of the king of Babylon and Satan (fig.)

According to the priesthood the high priest had 12 stones in the breastplate he wore. Satan (the persuasions thereof) has 9 of these stones out of the 12 stones Jesus Christ (our High Priest) has. Each stone represent the carriers attributes. The three missing from Lucifer's (Satan’s) attributes refer only to Jesus Christ and the salvation He alone has the right to offer.
