No, they can't.
However, even the faith required to believe is an unmerited gift of grace...
:) Ok, please would you explain what you think is the process of faith an unmerited gift of grace ?

Is something like a person never chooses to repent and God is gracious and gives them salvation ?

;) O I can imagine it, God giving salvation to someone who chooses not to repent, very much merited.

Person: I'm never going to repent.

God: That's ok, I will give you salvation anyway, you deserve it after making no effort and refusing to love Jesus.

I would not have a clue what the "process" is, merely that it is so - see Eph 2:8-9

8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.Eph 2:8-9

This text clearly and unambiguously teaches that even the faith required to believe unto salvation is a gift of God.
That gift is given by grace (unmerited favour).

No it doesn't, it was gracious of God to send Jesus and anyone who has faith in Jesus will be saved, a person who never repents will not receive what God has worked to give, plus all the scripture I have posted works against your interpretation. Repentance is a work and the reward is salvation, simple as, you can try to make the scripture I have posted against you agree with your opinion, it won't. Of course God is the one who makes it all possible, before God reveals his offer to a person they have done nothing to earn the opportunity to repent.

You are very confused...
Yes, no one who does not repent will be saved.
Who repents?
Those who believe!
Who believes?
Those with faith!
What is the source of that faith?
According to Eph 2:8-9 the source of that saving faith in God is no other than God Himself!

Repentance is NOT a work...

:D There is no confusion here my friend, You don't know the process, people have the ability to choose Jesus as Lord, otherwise you are advocating robot hyper grace.

:D Wow, how on earth do you think you will prove people don't have a choice to accept Jesus and there is no work in accepting ?

Since I do not know what hypergrace means that can hardly be so.
However, Eph 2:8-9 stands firmly in your way...

:D O ROBOT hyper grace, it's when a person never works at anything and goes to paradise against their will, a free gift of God, plus you need to read all the scripture I have posted with the word "reward" in, it won't agree with you but maybe you think you have the wings of an angel and don't need salvation, that's probably it.

What makes you think that I believe that anyone will will go to paradise against their will!!??!!!!
I stand by my assessment that you are confused...

;) You obviously don't understand sarcasm, have it your way, ignore all the times Jesus uses the word "reward" and see what lies ahead.

Actually, I will confirm this:
You clearly have an agenda to "prove" salvation is by works - something man can achieve on his own.
I know my Bible very well (including all the texts that you seem, erroneously, to believe that I reject) and I will NEVER rest my faith and salvation on anything other than a gracious gift of God...

:DHahahahahahahahaha, those ridiculous accusations prove that you don't know exactly what I have been saying, like I said before, have it your way, I'm not interested in your salvation comes by not doing what is necessary to repent and God gives with a silly smile and says don't worry I'll make you repent, you don't need to do anything.

:D And for the record, I have never believed or said man works his own salvation, repentance and God takes over is what I believe.

You seem unable to comprehend Simple English??
How you get to this: "I'm not interested in your salvation comes by not doing what is necessary to repent and God gives with a silly smile and says don't worry I'll make you repent, you don't need to do anything." based on anything I have said is beyond me.
Your interpretation simply tells me that you have an agenda and will ride roughshod over anyone or anything that appears to contradict that agenda...
I will continue to watch your posts with interest.

Some simple English for you, have it your way, how many times do I need to tell you, stop ! I'm not interested in your wild accusations and your choice to ignore how many times Jesus uses the word "reward".
