All hallows eve is of occult origin. The practices of Halloween mostly come from Celtic paganism in the British Isles, and their feast of Samhain, the new year. They believed it was the time when ghosts and spirits came out to haunt, and the Celts would appease the spirits by giving them treats.

Semiramis claimed our natural world seemed to show people
obvious parallels to
Nimrod’s “rebirth” - such as how sunlight begins to be
longer upon the earth, fertility increased in animals, plants would begin to
bloom, etc. If one noticed, this whole time of “renewal” or
“retransformation” – on both natural and supernatural levels – were to be
accredited to the power of the sun (the physical sun, as well as the
supernatural sun-god). These both seemed to be the source of life and heat
in both of our worlds.

Now, at the time of Halloween, there’s a different side to the story - the
"back end" of it, if you will. Now, pagans would celebrate the opposite
conditions of both worlds, here: not the beginning of life, but
the beginning
of death.
As one might guess, the time period of Halloween was to be set
around the time of year when daylight – or the sun’s contribution to our
natural world - would noticeably become less and less. Plants and animals
would seem to be considered “dying,” in ways - preparing to face the
upcoming cold and darkness of winter.

The Babylonian Connection to Halloween
And way back when, only men wore pants/trousers.

And not so long ago (100 years), pink was for men, blue for girls, and little boys wore dresses to have their pictures taken.

Exactly. Therefore Satan must laugh at Christians who cater to evil spirits, rather than reject them and war against them. We seem to forget that when a group of occultists got saved during the ministry of Paul (Acts 19:17-20), they literally burned up all their costly occult paraphernalia, and turned their backs on paganism. So today Christians should seriously ask themselves if the name of the Lord Jesus is magnified (Acts 19:17) when they participate in Halloween.

The term celebrate is misunderstood. To celebrate is to rejoice or to perform a ritual of sorts, now partaking in dressing dressing up and eating candy considered celebrating or is it merely partaking in a fun tradition? Really it depends on your views of the whole thing whether it's right or wrong evil or just being silly and getting high blood sugar this argument is one debated every year and the results are always the same.

My advice is if it makes you sin and makes you have sinful thoughts then don't partake in it if not then by all means have some fun and get a sugar rush but remember to take all things in moderation. Me personally I want to dress up in either a pokemon costume or maybe stitch I don't care how old I am I am NOT to old to dress up I am a man child XD

"However at that time, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature are no gods. But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? You observe days and months and seasons and years. I fear for you, that perhaps I have labored over you in vain." (Galatians 4:8-11 NASB)

They were going back to their previous pagan practices. Many today think that Paul was telling them to ignore the Law of God. The Galatians were worshipping the creation instead of the Creator just as Paul mentioned in his letter to the Romans.

"They have exchanged the truth of God for falsehood, by worshipping and serving created things, rather than the Creator — praised be he for ever. Amen." (Romans 1:25 CJB)

We really should have an how-did-you-dress-for-Halloween post in November.

Personally, I want to see Blain as Pokemon.
