We have recently become acquainted with a couple where the husband is white and the wife is black. She believes that black people are the only “real” Israelites and consequently feels like she is, and should be, the “leader” of our small Bible study group of four people. To my wife and me, color makes no difference because God looks at the heart, but this agenda is being pressed by her, and her husband is going along with it. If we were actually studying and she could lead, that would be different but it is simply reading the passages of scripture listed so that synagogues all over the world are reading the same thing every Saturday.

Granted, Moses had an Ethiopian wife, but the tribe of Levi had problems with that. Many strangers and Egyptian sojourners came out of Egypt with Israel during the exodus, Egypt being in Africa. Black people in this country are now called “African Americans. This is causing problems with mutual edification during our times of reading scripture once a week.

I would like some factual information if anyone can help out, as to the truth of her beliefs.

This is a wicked and racist doctrine. Just a bunch of people who have accomplished nothing and want to hold on to the only thing they have and can boast about, being born.

I could say something about the guy going along with this foolishness but then again, it is the current year, who am I to judge.

Not only is that a false doctrine, these guys are literally some of the dumbest people I have ever seen, I saw James White debate one of these guys and they were claiming KING JAMES was a black man, the same king james who authorized the King James Bible, you cannot make this stuff up.... Sorry for being mean I guess, but it is the truth.

Tell them the truth. Let the professional victims be offended if they please.

The truth is, there were and are Israelites of every complexion. The truth is that anyone could join Israel the people, if they decided to follow the LORD GOD and keep His covenant and His commandments. There are even biblical examples of this.

There are also biblical examples of bloodline meaning NOTHING, examples include Ishmael and Esau, both had the right bloodline but it did them no good.
As Jesus said to the pharisees, if ye were of Abraham you would do the works of Abraham. and that God can raise up from these stones descendants of Abraham.

Ummmm.....her claim to fame and desire to rule the roost does not pass the smell test IMO.......and the fact that she wants the preeminence reminds me of Diotrephes in 2nd John......

I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not. Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

Black Hebrew Israelites. Yep, I've listened to their doctrine.

As to unobtrusive, it is possible with their vetting of people that you could really be a black person (assuming you are not black) and that you then qualify to be a BHI yourself, even if you are white. They do this and can find out someone who is white is actually "black."

You may actually believe their doctrine once you hear it, who knows? I've listened to their teaching and reject it outright.

Anyhow, here is a short video:

I have heard about this belief, but it makes no difference. Even if she could prove she's a Jew, that gives her no special place to oversee a bible study.
Be careful. Some of these different beliefs are ungodly, and may have an evil spirit attached to the people believing it.
This is only my opinion, but I think she wants to be the leader to spread their false doctrine.

It would stand to reason that if it were the case, she'd have a Bible study of her own.

The African Americans are not Jews, which it appears they want to believe that so they can say,hey all you people that oppressed us in the past you will pay,and act as if they have been oppressed for the whole time since slavery started, but that is not true.

They believe there will a deliverance of them from the oppressors, and God will get them, but they are not being oppressed.

The only prejudice, and oppression, that goes on today,is such as is common to people, that occurs in many other nations.

If the African American is oppressed, then so are all the other ethnic groups, for a lot of them do better than a lot of other ethnic groups. They are millionaires, billionaires, musical stars, movie stars, television stars, politicians, enjoying alcohol, drugs, worldliness.

I would not call that oppression, and forget white guilt, for that is on whoever it is on,you do not put it on people that has nothing to do with anything that is oppression,or prejudice, and you do not put slavery on anybody today, for that is not on them.

What oppression is there to be delivered from if a lot of African Americans do better than a lot of other people of ethnic groups.

And forget white privilege,as to cry about it,for that is the way of the world, for other ethnic groups will give privilege to their ethnic group.

There is no prejudice, and oppression, today in America but such as is common to people.

All nations, and ethnic groups, push for power, but when they do not have the power, they cry oppression, but if they had the power they would push it too,for such is the nature of people.

Look at many African Americans in their communities,as they like to push power against each other, what are you doing in my hood attitude, and liking that thug, knock them down attitude.

European nations fighting with each other,African tribes fighting with each other,Native Americans fighting each other years ago,Asian nation against Asian nation, and even fighting within their own country that is supposed to be one country.

For such is the way of people,so why the belly aching, and cry babying, for such is the way of the world, and all nations, and ethnic groups, push for power, but then they point their finger at other nations, and ethnic groups,as if they are doing some evil that all other ethnic groups have not done.

It could be that America,or those people which this situation would benefit them that have positions of power, want a racial riot, for it goes along with their plan to cause America to be crippled,as well as other problems, and the power branch off to Europe,as the America joins Europe, for a power base that would be a force unbeatable, that would suck in all nations.

The African Americans are not Jews, for they do not fit the pattern of who the Jews would be at this time in history.

God said He would bring the captivity of Jacob, the whole house of Israel, all 12 tribes,to Israel, and leave none of them in the nations anymore, and the African Americans who say they are Jews, also believe the Native Americans, and Latinos, are Jews, and even have a list of the tribes, and what ethnic group is that tribe, but how would they know that for there is no way they could know that, but making it up off the top of their head.

Israel became a nation again in 1948,but no African American,Native American,or Latino, are going to Israel, which is the point of them becoming a nation again decreed by God.

But there could be imposter Jews in Israel, but when the man of sin establishes peace in the Middle East,it will pave the way for Jews to go to Israel, and none of them will be left in the nations, and the Jews, and Gentiles, will be separated.

So all African Americans,Native Americans, and Latinos,if they were the Jews would go to Israel, but I do not see that happening, and they would start going there now until the man of sin establishes that peace treaty causing all of them to go back.

God said,as birds flying He would take control of Jerusalem, fighter jets, the 6 day war,1967,which paved the way to win the war,and take control of Jerusalem, which there were no African Americans involved with that.

The Bible says it will be the Palestinians messing with God's people,in which God said He will put it back on their own head, and then says, proclaim among the Gentiles, let's go to war, which is the battle of Armageddon when God defeats the world, and saves Israel, which is the future.

But the Palestinians are not bothering the African American,Native American,or Latino, and have they ever bothered them in history.

But the Jews will be bothered by them which can only be in Israel, but the African Americans,Native Americans, and Latinos, are not there to be bothered, and it would have to apply to today, because it is speaking at the end time, for God said He is going to gather the nations together.

The African American is trying to take a pattern from the Jews being freed from slavery in Egypt, that they will be delivered from America, but the Jews in Egypt were oppressed until the day they went up out of Egypt, and when Moses went before Pharaoh, and said, let us go away and worship the LORD,he said, you people are idle, for you have all this time on your hands to go worship your God,then you can provide your own straw, and put out the same number of bricks, because the Egyptians use to provide their straw, but Pharaoh afflicted them more by making the Jews get the straw, and make the same number of bricks per day.

The Jews were oppressed until the day they went up out of Egypt.

But the African Americans, and Latinos, are not oppressed like that, but they prosper and flourish in America, and the Native American got a bad deal, but they too are not oppressed, and do not have to stay on the reservation, which they prosper, and flourish there.

Did any of the Native Americans know about the Bible until people came over and brought it,for if they are Jews, how did they not pass anything down through the years, but forgot about it completely, for it would seem like they would of at least had some knowledge passed down.

The African American Hebrew movement started in the late 19th century, early 20th century, but why so late for was not anything passed down, and the Latinos, was anything passed down.

Do they discover it all of a sudden, but nobody ever passed anything down through the years of the Old Testament, but they forgot about it.

It seems like the African Americans that believe they are Jews, want something to hang unto to give them identity, and importance, and say we are special, and God will get all you people who oppressed us,and oppress us now,and they appear to be kind of hateful, and spout off arrogance.

A lot of them speak in a hateful manner, calling Asians,Moabites, and they will go in to slavery,as if they have something against all people that they do not believe are Jews, that they are filth, even if they never oppressed them.

I view a lot of them as hateful, and not showing the love of Jesus, but have the attitude, get them God,avenge us.

But the African American,Native American, and Latino, are not being oppressed, but prosper, and flourish,in America, and there is no prejudice, and oppression, but such as is common to people that happens in a lot of nations, and white guilt should not apply, and white privilege should not apply, for all ethnic groups give privilege to their ethnic group, and if the African American is oppressed, then so is the other ethnic groups, for they all prosper, and flourish, and a lot not so much.

They are whooping it up being rich, famous, and having social status, and there is other ethnic groups, including white, struggling to make ends meet, barely making it,and the African American cries oppression.

What would God deliver them from.

The past is the past, let it go,for nobody is accountable for what they did,and stop being a cry baby, and boo hooing, get together in your community, and stop going against each other liking power, and that thug like attitude, and get along.

If they push power against their own people, why are they crying about other ethnic groups.

Until black lives matter to blacks, forget black lives matter, although I do not mean that in a bad way,but they go against each other, and then cry about other people.

And this is not coming from prejudice, but reality, for if whites act stupid,I will say something.

Many false ideas and concepts are gone out into the world: as for those in Christ indeed, they know very well that the Truth that is in Christ Jesus, there is no race; and if any accepts not this Truth, then they until now know Him not, but know only another Jesus, which is not the true.

There have been Coptic (Ethiopian) Jews since Jethro returned to Cush.

They are acknowledged by Israel as truly Jewish; and as such are granted automatic citizenship.

If Israel is defined as the descendants of Jacob; then they are not Israelite. If Israelite is defined the same as Israeli (which as far as I know nobody does) then she might have a claim.

Is this a Christian bible study? Or a Jewish one? If Christian, the Bible is clear!

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female—for all of you are one in Christ Jesus." Gal 3:28

"
Here there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all and in all." Col 3:11

Quite clearly, if we are talking Christianity, this woman is a false teacher. Would you let someone who is a false teacher lead your Bible study? In fact, would you let someone stay who is trying to take over your Bible study? I would give her the option to be quiet about her fake "superiority" and then ask them to leave if she dies not stay quiet on this issue. Feel free to use the above Scriptures!

I've always been colour blind with regards to race. My dad played pro football, and we always had people from other races as friends, including Chinese, black and Caucasian. As a Christian, we have close friends from many ethnic backgrounds, including Chinese, black, Caucasian etc! But, the corollary that comes out of not discriminating against someone because of culture of colour, is that you do not discriminate FOR certain races, either! We certainly should not see colour as Christians, nor even as a general principle for ethical relationships between other human beings.

Howver, if this is a Jewish bible study, contact Jewish scholars to see their thoughts. And if this is a Hebrew roots Bible study, you are entering into heresy from the start!

We ( the black and white guy with my wife and I) are in the process of reading Torah. Nevertheless we asked them yesterday if they wanted to study "Tabernacles" and they were clearly indifferent and totally not interested. They said that they put a tent up on their porch last year, and I said that we never do that because Torah is spiritual and not physical by works that make no sense.

Tabernacles is next month, and I thought it good to study it before it came. The spiritual stuff only, relating it to the New Testament, and the Millennial reign of Christ Jesus. She, the black gal wants to continue to read the Torah according to the program that is read world wide by the Jews, both Messianic, and non Messianic. It appears to be a vain exorcize minus real edification.

Sorry, only Canadian! Although, he did win 3 Grey Cup rings! One son also played pro hockey, including one NHL exhibition game. He is a coach now! Another son played major junior, but took his WHL scholarship and used it to complete a business degree and become a Chartered Accountant.

So, it runs in the family, but must have skipped a generation! LOL

So, you are saying they are trying to be Messianic, but you are just trying to see the shadows fulfilled in Christ? I think you are not going to get anywhere with these people. I would pray about it, and see what God is saying. But, if they want to go in a different direction, I would forget doing it with these people. No, you do not have to do the readings the Jews are doing! We are Christians, not Jews, Messianic or otherwise.

I would be interested in hearing what some of our former Jews think about this!

So who spelled "except" wrong, you, MotC, or the meme writer?

Because, it is "we cannot accept you." Except means something quite different.

And just because an Egyptian says something wrong, doesn't make it a right!

Why do the Roman Catholics pray to a Black Madonna with a black child next to her?
