I do a devotional every morning and enjoy sharing it with people here on christian chat. You never know how people you meet, even here on this chat site. How you can change the outcome of their lives by sharing words of encouragement. You can help a person realize no matter what they are going through, their never alone. They have a true friend who we call Jesus. Thanks for all who help encourage me by posting kinds words on my posts, you end up helping encourage me. Thanks for all who take the time to read my posts. I know there not always perfect but hope they help anyway.

Von1... I am always a BIG FAN of yours and LOVE your post!!!

Your post reminds me of where I fall short of supporting someone in my personal life. She has made a very bad decision and has kept an abuser in here life even after getting a court order. It is my "natural" self that wants to say, "you made your bed, you lie in it". In fact, to my shame I said those words. We do not talk much now, to be honest a big part of me does not want to hear it anymore about the abuse; she chose her life. But I am in GREAT SIN. Thank you for G-d's Word!!! She needs G-d's word and why am I offended... I am abusing the abused for being abused... How messed up is that!?!...

Support her and be there it is easy to be on the outside looking in but to be on the inside you have mental barriers that others can not see. The lady is hoping for change and willing to forgive her abuser.. now the most dangerous time is when the partner leaves the abuser.. it is frustrating to help someone who then returns to her abuser but Love and support and do not forsake.

Sounds like you are just the person this gal needs in her life..
