Many years ago I read a book called, The Dead Sea scrolls and the lost chapters of Adam and Eve. I can no longer find this book. I can find a book called, The dead sea scrolls and the forgotten books. They also sell these two books separate. I cannot find the one I read anywhere. Has anyone read the lost chapters book I speak of? It tells about Adam and Eve after being banished and how they tried to commit suicide three times? If you have read it does that have any merit behind it? Was it taken from the KJV or was it a scholars weird interpretation? Also where did you buy it or read it.

Too many of the apocryphal and pseudepigraphical books are just legendary or made up stories, and may even contradict Scripture. There are three books about Adam and Eve: (1) The Books of Adam and Eve, (2) The Life of Adam and Eve, and (3) The Apocalypse of Adam. They really have little merit since they are not inspired by God. Just bear in mind that the Gnostics were behind many of these so-called *gospels* and books.
