As there are hundreds of Bible applications out there it gets very difficult to find the good ones. I personally mostly use Bible game / trivia applications as I learn a lot by using them. I have been using these applications lately:

Biblegateway: you can read and listen to various Bible versions. It's very easy to use, I like it a lot. Also supports multiple languages.
Bible Journey Game: looks like an interesting trivia application that has a campaign mode with lots of questions. Really tests your Bible knowledge!
True or False (Biblical): based on a simple idea, true/false questions, but definitely entertaining to play!

It would be great to hear your opinions and recommendations :)

Thanks for the recommendation, you seem to really like Scripture4all :)
I also use only the free mobile apps, fortunately most of them are free (including the ones I wrote).

i've tried dozens ((well that was years ago, maybe there's newer ones i might like better)) & i like this one - simple, stable, small, adjustable font size & background colors etc, lots of translations ((including YLT, Locutus - i like that one too!)), can store versions on SD card instead of internal memory, FREE, no ads. has a search function tho it's not a particularly good one; i just use it for reading.

I use Bible Gateway. It does exactly what I want it to, and nothing I don't. I only really use it for the narration because sometimes I would rather be read to than to slog through it myself, and I like the narrator's voice, tone and cadence.
