Of course, this is tongue-in-cheek. It's what I'm good at.

But, I'm also serious. I have never met the person with the perfect brain. And, I've never met the person with "mental illness" who wants to boast about it because someone wants to know, "What's wrong with you? I got to know!"

So, this is my poll to see if I'm right. (I could be wrong. There are problems with my brain too.) I really do think everyone has something wrong with their mental abilities.

If I remember, (another problem with my brain, so no guarantee I will), I'll try to make it anonymous, but it's also multiple choice, so you aren't stuck with just choosing one of the problems. BUT, if you remember, (because why should I assume you'd remember, if I already can't assume it for myself
), only click the last choice if you have clicked nothing else.

But, please! Do feel free to answer, "What's wrong with you?" regarding mental problems. Or don't. That's okay too.

(Oh, and give me time to set up the poll before complaining I gave no poll. Just sayin'.)

Formally diagnosed by medical professionals:

Autism on the Asperger's end of the scale
Chronic Depression
Borderline Personality Disorder

Not formally diagnosed but I exhibit a lot of the peculiarities:

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
Bi-polar Disorder
Crushing lack of self esteem (even though I am arrogant as the day is long)

If we want to toss both categories out though, it's sufficient to say I am a "weird, crazy, mean-tempered, jerk". That works too.

That's why it's multiple choice, so you can pick all, but one at a time. lol
I picked five. (Although my wife says "Criminal Sexual Psychopath" would have covered it all........ but I think that diagnosis has been dropped from version 5)

I actually am legally diagnosed with a high functioning form of autism.

Whether or not I really have this issue, I dunno.

Oh but, I totally think I have the "I think faster than I type" thing. I dunno if thats a real thing but I definitely often lose track of everything I was thinking about while typing a post, due to taking too long to type it out : p

Two nights ago, I was pulling out cookies for dessert. The sugar-free cookies we usually eat stopped being available in this area, so I ordered a big box online. The ones we used to get were enough for several nights of dessert from one box. These new ones are "one-serving" per pack. But we know how many a serving is, and their chocolate chips only have two per pack. We're used to three per serving. So I pulled out three packs, gave him one, me one, opened the third, put one on my unopened pack, and threw the other in the trash before trying to give him the package itself.

Once I figured out what I did wrong, scooped it out of the trash, ran to the sink to wash it off, and then sat down and ate it. (BTW, wet chocolate chip cookie is softer than dry ones. lol)

Then I picked up my pack, forgetting I had a cookie for me on top. Since I ate the one that went in the trash, that one belonged to him, right? Well, it fell on the floor. Five-second-rule for the floor, right? So I got the trashed cookie and he got the floored cookie.

This is normal, right? AT least... for chocolate chip cookies!

Well, I definitely have bad OCD. I may have some other things going on too, but I'm just gonna say OCD for now.

Nope. This is where I draw the line. I get remember 1960s and 1970s songs, but 1980s? Nope! Don't get that at all. lol

I don't know if it's so much a disorder (because I haven't bothered to look it up), but late at night when I am trying to think through something, I pace and talk to myself out loud. Not just a "I'm speaking loud enough I can hear myself", but I'm genuinely having a conversation with myself. Sometimes it turns into an argument...and one I always win one way or the other.
