I am here to learn.

I do not, and will not call myself a Christian. I'll explain this through an example:

When I was 18 and after HS graduation, I stood on the "little yellow footprints" of MCRD San Diego, California for basic training in the USMC. I served a full term and was Honorably Discharged in 1999. Most people, hearing that, would say I am lying because I do not "act like it", and by saying that phrase, they have answered their own inquiry. Acting is pretending. Acting is make-believe. Acting is lying. If somebody doesn't believe that I served, that is their problem, but most (minus 11 pages which are classified until well after my death) are a matter of public record. There is a completely stupid saying in the Marine Corps of "Once a Marine, always a Marine", and I've always thought it a bunch of hooey. I stopped being a Marine and "earning the title" the day I was discharged.

Similarly, while I may meet the most basic of definitions of "Christian" according to the Bible, I will not claim that title because as of yet, I bear no good fruit. Also, there are too many "hardcore Christians" on this site which set a very bad example of what it means to be a Christian, and I think attaching myself to that label associates myself with them, and I already have enough problems as it is without being attached to some deluded, AM radio-taught pseudo-"christian" that thinks he is "God's special little snowflake" for constantly rebuking everyone in sight.

Why am I here on this site? Or why am I here in this world? I don't know which one you mean, so I'll answer both...

I am here on this site as a messenger of God- to deliver His truth as I know it, to the best of my ability. Someone once asked me why don't I go to the unrighteous to share this truth instead of to the righteous? I believe in going to all- to the worldly (most of whom will not even discuss it), to the misguided (who have a false sense of salvation due to false religions and false teachers), and to brothers (to study together and encourage one another with God's truth).

But it is the middle group that is most important to me- because I have a headstart, because they already believe in God, and they are willing to talk about it, and I have the greatest chance of showing them they are on the wrong path, thus the greatest chance of saving a soul. "There's a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." "If the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit." (Hell).

There are not many faiths out there, there is only one Lord, one faith, (hey that's me), and one baptism. All others are false and do not lead to salvation. I'm here in hope to save lives, because "Not everyone who says Lord, Lord! will enter the kingdom of heaven- but only those who do the Will of My Father." Being righteous does not mean you are saved, you have to be righteous and obedient. "For if it is hard for the righteous to be saved, what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?"

I am here in this world for the same reason everyone else is- to please God. Those who do not please God will not live with Him forever.

I am here when I got nothing more important to do. Usually when all the labor of the day is over and as I eat I scroll through the forums arguing with people I do not even know, about things of great importance, while knowing either one of us is not going to budge an inch on our positions on the matter.

Before I was saved I was just here I had no real reason to be alive no purpose no destiny or future. But in becoming a Christian in getting to know Jesus and God so intimately in going through so much in this short journey with him my reason of being here is clear to me.
My sole existence is not for myself, I desire to seek his heart with a furious hunger and thirst I refuse to settle for second best when come to knowing him and being strong in him. I seek to have a kind of love and closeness with him that exceeds anything anyone thought was possible I want to push te boundaries and test the limits I want to see exactly how deep and how rich and how beautiful a kind love closeness and relationship with him can be and I want to be just like in every way and in the deepest levels possible. I seek this things and no matter how far I have to no matter what I have to go through no matter what I have lose or sacrifice I will have these treasures I so firmly seek.

However I seek these things because once I have them I want to share them with every soul and heart vastly and without limit. What I desire more than anything more than anything in this world or even in heaven is that everyone would come to know him like this, I mean I have come to know him and have fallen so madly in love with him just because of who he is and I have so admired everything I have learned of him and he and I share a very close and intimate bond and yet bI know this isn't even .0000000001% of how deep and how beautiful that bond can go.

But if even this much is so amazing and beautiful then I want everyone saved and not saved to receive 100 time more than what I have been given. This is my reason for being I seek to be strong in him like that so that other can receive him in manner on a much deeper level. I see no other reason to be strong in him honestly

A better question might be; why not be here. Anytime we have a continuation
in growing in the glory of Christ and living in the Spirit, it is a good place to be.
There is no place like this place so this must be the place to be. :D

As "time" goes on for me, it's becoming increasingly clear that I am "here", in the "milky way" galaxy, 3rd rock from the sun, northern hemishpere, United States of America, Illinois, for 1 reason! WAR! War, against the spirit of anti christ! War, against the rulers of darkness! War, against powers and principalities! War, against spiritual wickedness in high places! War, against false gods, claiming to BE GOD, in their striving to overshadow the TRUE GOD, on His Mercy Seat! War, against false prophets! War, against the "prince" of THIS world (planet), as well as "princes of the covenant!" War, against the beast in, and as it ascends out of the bottomless pit!

For me? This is a full time job, from the time I wake up, til the time I go to bed! And sometimes, even in my dreams!

Some may, and probably will say "Why Jesus already DID that!" "Just accept Him
by faith, and get in the wagon!" Thing is, I done that long long time ago! And, the longer and further I "press on, to the High Calling of GOD, "in Christ Jesus", my Lord and Savior? The more I "see", and the "dirtier" it looks! So, ya wanna BE a Christian, eh?

My "hope", is that, in the end, I will have done enough of these "works/efforts", that I may "inherit" eternal life, and have weakened the adversaries, to have made it possible, to "lessen" the "many many" that ain't gonna make it!

I think there is only one purpose for life (after Salvation) and that is to take as many people to heaven with me as I can. I honestly think purpose is that simple. But i'm not really a very deep person....

Why are you hear? What is your purpose? Do you have a purpose in Messiah/Christ?
Twenty years ago whilst seeking the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, the Lord show me a vision me of a little boy four or five years, sitting on a cliff edge with is feet hanging over the edge, high above the clouds, asking this same question "what is the purpose of life?" . The lord then spoke and told me "I was that little boy and if I follow Jesus, HE will show me the purpose of life" Then HE me blessed with the Gift of Divers tongue.
Follow Jesus and HE will show you your purpose in life. Until today it's been a great journey but I know there is still so much more.

I am here to serve my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

My purpose is to spread the gospel of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

My purpose in Messiah/Christ is to function in His body as God intended when He placed me in the body as it pleased Him.

I love research and spend a lot of time looking up verses in Scripture, studying the words within the verse, the verse within the context, the context within the scope of the whole of Scripture.

Good question Mr. Dude and one that's not easily answered, atleast not to me. Obviously being Christian we all have been created to serve God with a mindset of: "...hallowed be your name your kingdom come your will be done". We, as Christians, are all doing our best to live for Christ so that is the first part but then it gets complicated. Everyone has a specific will for their life given by God and we all have something only we can do, what is that for me? I have no clue tbh xD. But there are things i want to glorify the Lord in that others don't or just haven't yet using the specific talents and hobbies for my life particularly. I seriously suck at making plans and stuff if i had my way id work as a pizza delivery man, get married, and adopt a bunch of poor neglected children (if I'm not going completely into my fantastical mind and creating something that im pretty sure wont happen). I suck at thinking bout what i want to do and am extremely picky with almost everything so i try not to think about it too hard or I'll easily get lost in trying to figure out all the possibilities of each of my decisions cuz idk im complicated ig. but one thing is for sure regardless of what i end up glorifying the Lord in, i will try to follow Christ and try not to get too focused on myself cuz i tend to think about my life wayy too much. Anywayy that's all for now ig G1GB and im gonna give my phone a cookie for not breaking after typing a whole autobiography cx.

I am here to learn as I teach and teach as I learn, though my original reasons for being here were to find decent Christian women, then after coming here I felt it was laid upon my heart to join multiple Christian Chat sites, teaching of baptism and salvation,as for why I am here now, continuing to do what I believe to be right and allowing God to guide me.
