I have a challenge for those who would like to participate. Write a short paragraph, based on Biblical truth, how a physical storm (even an emotional experience) can relate to spiritual truth.

1.disturbance
2.blast
3.squall
4. tempest
5. whirlwind
ETC. according to spiritual truth, and how it would apply.

In parable, how's your spiritual stability in the "storm" of life?

I think the storm is the trouble given to Christians by others, even, and especially by Satan, who try to remove you from the straight and narrow path.

There was a man tending to the fruits of his garden, this man worked hard day and day to make the best fruits possible, however it was in the middle of a dry season and the fruits of his crops were withering and becoming dry. the man seeing how his crops were prayed for God to help him to make his crops stronger and healthier, God answered the man in his earnest request asking him are you prepared for how I might do this?

The man answered yes and then the Lord yes then it will be done. soon after a terrifying thunder storm with loud crashing's of thunder and lightning that light up the sky was heading straight towards him at a rapid pace. The man then said to god Lord, I asked for help to make my crops stronger and healthier why then do you send a terrifying storm my way? God then replied to the man my child you asked for my help but I never said how I was going to help you. This storm while terrifying in appearance will bring rain to give your crops the water they require to be alive and strong.
If you will trust me then when this storm comes upon you do not be dismayed because while the winds will blow and the thunder will crash I bring this storm for your good.

The moral of the story is sometimes a storm is needed so he can bring the rain:)

When trusting in Jesus, the storms of life will enable us to see the benefit of the Living Water given. Amen, Blain.
