This thread was started for those people who love prophecy but don’t understand the meaning. Any one that think prophecy is bunk can get in on the discussion. Ask and between us we’ll try to get it right.

If you really are into prophecy here are some suggestions you might think on. Read slow, take one phrase at a time, understand the full meaning of each word, if you don’t know what the word means look it up. You’ll find the old English language words means something all together different than they do today. That’s just for starters.

The problem is that people interpret prophecy differently.. Some interpret Daniel as prophesies fulfilled in the second century BC, and Revelation as prophesies fulfilled in the first century AD (preterism). They believe Revelation is history and not future, the anti-Christ being Nero, and the Beast Rome. Even though Nero died in 68AD and John likely wrote Revelation sometime after his death. So its always difficult to get any agreement as people seldom concur about anything. Its even hard to get like-minded interpretations of what Jesus was talking about in Mathew 24, Mark 13, And Luke 21. But its always fun to discuss what means what, because confusion abounds :)

That is not to difficult to discribe though it takes some faith in that Jesus was referring to the sceond temple distruction in 70AD, the Arcg of Titus is still in Rome that deplicts the event.

The sign of the end of the age, there is only One who knows precisely.

Have you studied it out? Why was Daniel able to name the beast in ch8 but not in ch 7.

Something I have noticed about Prophecy is that like history it often times repeats itself, I have noticed how it foreshadows something before the prophecy itself truly happens. The symbolism you often see might not be that relevant to us but back then it was the best way they could describe things they saw but didn't know what it was.

Hello Blain I was hoping you would find me. Let’s start with something simple like if you don’t know history then you’ll not understand some of the things that are mentioned.

From what I gather the first beast being like a lion with wings of an eagle represents America because we are like a lion being we are the strongest and richest country and the eagle is the symbol for America as well, I believe the beast that is like a bear with ribs in between it's teeth is Russia and the third beast could easily be Persia or perhaps Islam the fourth however I can only gather is a great military force of a country
