Revelation 13:16-17English Standard Version (ESV)

16 Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave,[a] to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17 so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name.

----------------------------------------------------------
1) We already have this technology (microchip) and it's currently being implemented worldwide for payment of things. It's just a matter of time before the beast implements this as per scripture, shortly after a world government is born or at the time of its birth.

2) What happens to those who do not take the mark? Are they condemned to simply starve to death, or will God provide for them? Will they be executed?

3) Why do you think God is so black/white on the issue on who takes the mark? All who take the mark will be burned in the lake of fire. Can the mark alter your DNA to make you unacceptable to God?

I used to dread this reality, but now I'm not so scared anymore, as Christ says not to worry about the future.

Unless we happen to die first, we will ALL be right here until the final day when Jesus returns. And considering that it will probably be many, many, many years from now, I imagine every person here will be long dead.

True Story:

Friend of mine is a beekeeper.
Sometimes she has little mishaps with the bees and gets stung.
I'm talking to her one day and see some big red blotches on her hand.
I say, "What's that?"
She says, "This... this is the Mark Of The Bees."

Revelation12:11, “And they overcame him because of the Blood of the Lamb, and because of the Word of their witness, and they did not love their lives to the death.”

2 Corinthians 5:15, "and He died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them, and was raised.”

Exodus 13:9, “And it shall be as a *sign to you on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes, that the Torah (Instructions/Law) of יהוה is to be in your mouth, for with a strong hand יהוה has brought you out of Mitsrayim.”

The word *Sign is word #H226 – owth from Strong's Exhaustive Concordance, Hebrew Dictionary: meaning mark, token, sign, consent, flag, evidence of consent.

H226 אוֹת 'owth (oth), a signal (literally or figuratively), as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc., [probably from H225 (in the sense of appearing)], KJV: mark, miracle, (en-)sign, token.

So we see the word “sign” can be also translated as “mark” and this sign/mark represents “evidence of consent.” It is also key to notice that this mark/sign/evidence of consent is “on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes.” Now in Scripture “on your hand” means by your actions or what you do with the power/choices you have in your life. A “reminder between your eyes” would be your brain, thoughts or faith, after all what do you remember with that is in between your eyes? Your brain. So to put “on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes” into simpler terms it could be by your works and faith.

Now the first reaction by most is “but that’s Old Testament and the Law is no more.” Thus claiming this verses no longer applies because the Scripture says the Law is the sign/mark:

Exodus 13:9, “And it shall be as a *sign to you on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes, that the Torah (Instructions/Law) of יהוה is to be in your mouth...”

Is the Law “done away” or “nailed to the cross?” A study in itself… However lets touch on a few verses concerning this that we may have Scriptural insight;

Luke 16:17, “And it is easier for the heaven and the earth to pass away than for one tittle of the Torah to fall.”

Matt 5:18, "For truly I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh – the smallest of the letters – will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1-2, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no more sea. And I, Yahanan, saw the holy city, YHWH Shammah, coming down from YHWH out of heaven, prepared as brides adorned for their husbands. And I heard a great voice out of heaven, saying: Behold, the tabernacle of YHWH is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His people, and YHWH Himself will be with them, and be their Father.”

Isaiah 65:17, “For look, I am creating new heavens and a new earth, and the former shall not be remembered, nor come to heart."

Matthew 5:18, “For truly, I say to you, till the heaven and the earth pass away, one yod or one tittle shall by no means pass from the Torah (Instructions) till all be done.”

Revelation 21:1-2, “And I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed earth, for the former heaven and the former earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. And I, Yahanan, saw the set-apart city, renewed Yerushalayim, coming down out of the heaven from Yah, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.”

Isaiah 66:22, “For as the new heavens and the new earth that I make stand before Me,” declares יהוה, “so your seed and your name shall stand."

2 Peter/Kĕpha 3:15-17, "and reckon the patience of our Master as deliverance, as also our beloved brother Paul/Sha’ul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him, as also in all his letters, speaking in them concerning these matters, in which some are hard to understand, which those who are untaught and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do also the other Scriptures. You, then, beloved ones, being forewarned, watch, lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the delusion of the lawless, but grow in the favor and knowledge of our Master and Savior יהושע Messiah. To Him be the esteem both now and to a day that abides. Awmĕin.”

This same principle found in Exodus 13:9 is supported by Paul here:
2 Timothy 2:19, “However, the solid foundation of Yah stands firm, having this *seal,
יהוה knows those who are His, and let everyone who names the Name of Messiah turn away from unrighteousness.”

The word *sealis word #G4973sphragis: a seal, a signet, Original Word: σφραγίς, ῖδος, ἡ, Part of Speech: Noun, Feminine, Transliteration: sphragis, Phonetic Spelling: (sfrag-ece'), Short Definition: a signet-ring, impression of a seal, the proof, Definition: a seal, signet ring, the impression of a seal, that which the seal attests, the proof.

The word “unrighteousness” is word #G93 ἀδικία – adikia, ad-ee-kee'-ah, (legal) injustice (properly the quality, by implication the act); moral wrongfulness (of charter, life or act):—iniquity, unjust, unrighteousness, wrong.

I repeat:

Exodus 13:9, “...a *sign to you on your hand and as a reminder between your eyes, that the Torah (Instructions/Law) of
יהוה is to be in your mouth..."

upon your hand and as a reminder between your eyes,

...Hand and head the beast has a counter mark: Also in the hand and head

Revelation 14:9-11, And a third messenger followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark upon his forehead or upon his hand, he also shall drink of the wine of the wrath of Yah, which is poured out undiluted into the cup of His wrath. And he shall be tortured with fire and sulfur before the set-apart messengers and before the Lamb. And the smoke of their torture goes up forever and ever. And they have no rest day or night, those worshiping the beast and his image, also if anyone receives the mark of his name.”

For we can see the end time anti-Messiah will be "the Lawless one"

2 Thessalonians 2:6-12, "For the mystery of iniquity (secret initiation of lawlessness*) is already working, but the One restraining him will continue to restrain him, until he is made to appear in the midst. And then that lawless one will be revealed, whom Yahshua will remove with the breath of His mouth, and make powerless with the appearance of His coming-- Whose coming is according to the energy of Satan, who works with all power, and signs, and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of sin in those who are perishing, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason, YHWH will send them strong delusion, that they would believe the deception, In order that all those may be judged as not having believed the truth, but as having delighted in sin."

1 John 3:4, "Whoever commits sin, transgresses also the Law; for sin is the transgression of the Law."

Romans 5:13, "For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law."

Romans 4:15, "Because the law works wrath: for where no law is, there is no transgression."

Romans 2:15, "Who show the work of the Torah written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and between themselves their thoughts accusing (condemming sin) or even excusing (justifying sin)."

1 John 1:8-10, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Law is not in us."

Not really, I’d be fearful of God if I accepted the mark. Satan offers pleasures for disobeying God- the fruit Eve ate, the money a thief steals, the sex of fornication, etc. It is said whoever bears the mark will be able to buy and sell, why would you fear not struggling? Sin is fun- that’s Satan’s trap.

Sure, it would be fun to just run and jump off of a skyscraper, but the fun would be very short lived, and you should fear the consequences awaiting you if you do it. Would I fear the jump? Not at all- I’d fear what happens next. But the mark of the beast is spiritual, although it’s possible that it will take on physical form at some point.

God's judgements from Genesis to Revelations has only ever been given to mankind over sin. As it was in the days of Noah and Sodom so shall it be when the son of man comes. The Mark of the beast is not a microchip it is about transgression of God's Law which the Word of God says the penalty is death....

No.. Because i do not believe it will be forced on anyone.. From scripture i see worship of the image of the beast being enforced first and anyone who refuses to worship the image will be beheaded..

Note the scriptures that come before the verses you quote.. In context::

Revelation 13: KJV
14 "And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. {15} And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. {16} And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: {17} And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name."

So first He makes the image and demands that all worship it and anyone who refuses ( Christians ) will be killed.. Therefore i see the Mark of the Beast as a reward given to those who first show their allegiance to the Anti-christ by Worshiping the Image of the beast..
