Psalm is the Old Testament, the Lord Jesus Christ already arrived. Jesus at the end of Revelation also corrects himself and says he is only a servant of God, and for us to worship God and God only.

so we have another person here who does not believe in the Trinity

and the rest is nonsense

Not only do I not believe in the trinity, but also if Jesus had to clarify that he was only a servant, it could very well leave the door open to God being a female as well. I say this because Jesus would have said worship God the Father correct? But instead Jesus leaves God's gender out of it this time and I think it's to promote gender equality.

Jesus always prayed to the Father and said that He and the Father are one. He also said that after His resurrection the Holy Spirit would come to live in the hearts of those that love God. The Holy Spirit prays to the Father as well for us. There is nothing to indicate that God is a female but even if that were true God would still be love because He changes not.

Good Christians need to take action and either "try to teach" or "stand up" to Satan and devils. If good Christians don't take action, then Satan (the deceiver and enemy of good) will get away with it's clever deceit because of today's governing laws which allow freedom of speech and don't persecute Satan when it commits it's crafty evil deeds.

We cannot wait around for Jesus or God to carry out judgement, we must use what Christ has taught us and teach/save the lost sheep; and rid the world of evil spirits. Take action, save lives, protect the future of humanity from damnation or in science terms "a barbaric hellish Earth". How do we expect to God to take action to help us if we do not take action to help another?
So, we're supposed to do what God can't do -- deal with Satan?

Where do you get that biblically? Where do you get the idea you're that strong?

Keep your focus on the Lord. He is our strength and protector. He is the universe's strength and protector. He is the one who deserves the glory of us praising and following him. Why would you waste time on Satan? God is able. We are not.

What verse of Revelation are you referring to? (I think it's the angel talking to John who says he (the angel) is a servant, not Jesus.)

God is still in charge - still on His Throne. Therefore, Satan will ONLY do what God allows him to do. Basically, if you will, Satan's job is to test you by deceiving you, which is his MO.

Satan does some of his best work from Christian pulpits.

As Christians we should not actively or preemptively seek to confront Satan and his angels. We should do no more than what Michael the archangel said to Satan which was "the Lord rebuke you." If it is an issue of oppression from demonic activity or possession, then we should fast and pray freeing the person from their demonic oppression.

The best way to stand up to Satan and the powers of darkness is to continue following Christ, putting His word into practice, being the light and the salt.

First time in I can't remember when I literally LOLed while reading this politically correct drivel.

Aren't parents doing a good enough job deprogramming the nonsense our kids are fed in Colleges?

Exactly....John falls down to worship the angel and the angel tells him not to do it, that he is a fellow servant with John and to worship God.........

Well Polar it seems many have given you wise advice and correction in my absence the question is will you receive it? It is only by the Lords leading that one would even stand against the common demon, prayer is the most powerful weapon in ones arsenal but it is God's will and his power alone that makes the difference not ours.

Like I said before does the frog seek out the fly or does it wait for the fly to come to him? Take this for instance say that you are in a war and the enemies captain is in range however it also could be bait and your captain has not given the command even though it seems as if that is the right call. Now say that you disobey your ranks and shoot at the enemies captain but it was a trick and now the enemies camp knows where you are at and your platoon is devastated all because you acted on your own without first receiving the command.

In the same way if you think yourself strong enough to challenge the enemy without God first giving the command what do you think will happen?

UPDATED POST: Sorry wouldn't let me edit my first post.

We cannot wait around for Jesus or God to carry out judgement,
Yes, we can and we will. God is using the devil for a season, and ONLY God can toss him into the pit.

Look again at revelations. Jesus tells John that he is an angel and to worship God, then he says that he is the Alpha and Omega and he is coming soon and his reward will be with him. That means Jesus is just an angel serving God and we are not to worship Jesus but God alone. Jesus last words in the Bible do not specify the Father, but God.

Jesus also tells those who are doing good to continue to do good, and doing good is by teaching the lost sheep or helping fight the battle against Satan....

no...actually YOU need to look at it. in fact STUDY it because your attempt at a biblical quote, is badly skewed...which may indicate why you didn't post the actual scripture you refer to

now lets' have a look at the REAL verses and we will see you are either not honest or you have not actually read them and are simply repeating what someone taught you

here it is:

The Revelation of Jesus Christ

1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must soon take place; and He sent and [a]communicated it by His angel to His bond-servant John, 2 who testified to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw. 3 Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of the prophecy, and [b]heed the things which are written in it; for the time is near.

1) it is the revelation (singular) of Jesus Christ which GOD gave TO Him ...gave TO Jesus

2) He...Jesus...communicated the message from God to His angel and the angel delivered this same message to John the Apostle

you don't know what you are talking about PB and that especially goes for your total lack of understanding in how to deal with the devil and demons

you do not believe Jesus is God

you seem to believe YOU can somehow deal with spirit beings who are far more wicked and intelligent than any human being...having observed us all for thousands of years

Jesus IS God, not just an angel.

now it would behoove you to see your error, which has been plainly explained from the scripture you say you are talking about, and SEE that you are wrong

will you acknowledge the error?

Ok my friend let me ask you this do you recall how Jesus healed the paralytic man? He said to the man his sins were forgiven and the Pharisees accused him of blasphemy because only God himself has the authority to forgive sins. So then if Jesus was not also God then he spoke blasphemy and thus discredits anything he ever said or did. So let me ask you did he blasphemy?

if you familiarize yourself with OT scripture, you will note where the expression the 'angel of the Lord' is used, it is actually the Lord Himself

when John saw the figure standing by the seven lampstands, the figure identifies Himself as Jesus...see underlined below

10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet 11 saying, “Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”
12 Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands, 13 and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest. 14 The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. His eyes were like a flame of fire, 15 his feet were like burnished bronze, refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the roar of many waters. 16 In his right hand he held seven stars, from his mouth came a sharp two-edged sword, and his face was like the sun shining in full strength.
17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. But he laid his right hand on me, saying, “Fear not, I am the first and the last, 18 and the living one. I died, and behold I am alive forevermore, and I have the keys of Death and Hades. 1

James 2:14-26 teaches us that faith alone is not enough but we need to do works and take action. That means if we want a better Christian world and get rid of the evil in this world, we need to take action. We need to teach and save the lost sheep, and banish Satan when we are in power to do so safely, we should weigh out what we believe is safe and worth the effort.

Now that you pulled that little nifty verse that you think agrees with you our of context, how about putting it back where it belongs, in context? What question is the Book of James answering?

I'm just going to put this out there for people to consider, because surely berry won't:
1. Why are people trying to reason with a nonbeliever/nonChristian? Because, berry sure isn't a Christian.
2. Why is it nontrinitarians and JW's are now allowed to join us on this site?

Not only do I not believe in the trinity, but also if Jesus had to clarify that he was only a servant, it could very well leave the door open to God being a female as well. I say this because Jesus would have said worship God the Father correct? But instead Jesus leaves God's gender out of it this time and I think it's to promote gender equality.
And, berry? Just so you know, you don't have a clue who God is. You probably are fairly clueless about Satan too, although I'm sure Satan pulls your strings well, so don't, for a second, believe you're teaching anyone anything.

Well spoken but very misguided.
