Demons... Fallen angels... We should steer clear of them and never engage in activities which end in contact with them..

So for example never using an Ouiga board or taking part in a seance..

Just what are familiar spirits?
According to Keil and Delitzsch Commentary conjuring familiar spirits was dabbling in necromancy...communication with the dead.

Lev. 19:31. True fear of God, however, awakens confidence in the Lord and His guidance, and excludes all superstitious and idolatrous ways and methods of discovering the future. This thought prepares the way for the warning against turning to familiar spirits, or seeking after wizards. אֹוב denotes a departed spirit, who was called up to make disclosures with regard to the future, hence a familiar spirit, spiritum malum qui certis artibus eliciebatur ut evocaret mortuorum manes, qui praedicarent quae ab eis petebantur (Cler.). This is the meaning in Isa. 29:4, as well as here and in Lev. 20:6, as is evident from Lev. 20:27, "a man or woman in whom is an ob," and from 1 Sam. 28:7, 8, baalath ob, "a woman with such a spirit." The name was then applied to the necromantist himself, by whom the departed were called up (1 Sam. 28:3; 2 Kings 23:24). The word is connected with ob, a skin. יִדְּעֹנִי, the knowing, so to speak, "clever man" (Symm. γνώστης, Aq. γνωριστής), is only found in connection with ob, and denotes unquestionably a person acquainted with necromancy, or a conjurer who devoted himself to the invocation of spirits. (For further remarks, see as 1 Sam. 28:7ff.).

A familiar spirit is basically a demon pet shown in all kinds of shows stories and other nonsense to be friendly and good demons or at least a demon pet that will not cause harm to the one who ones it. The devil wants to get peoples mindset to accept these things as no big deal and to give the train of thought of evil being good or at least not so evil. In Witchcraft a familiar is merely a spirit living inside of an animals body they user doesn't choose the familiar the familiar chooses them having different names and traits according to the person they are aligned with and a blood bond is always needed.

But just as witchcraft is attempted to seem good with people going by the name white witches the enemy wants evil to seem good or at least have a distinction between good and evil, remember 2 Corinthians 11:14 And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light.

Seances and Ouija boards are hoaxes.
A fellow I know, a college professor, swears that he had a scary experience with a Ouija board when he was in college many years before. He and a group of friends had a Ouija board, and he claims something was answering them during the course of the eveninggiving answers to things that none of them knew about. They were able to look up a couple of the answers, and verify them. (Neither he nor any of his friends ever played with a Ouija board again. It scared the heck out of them all.)

Perhaps it was a hoax that one of his friends somehow pulled off. Perhaps not. But I believe him. And I wouldn't fool around with a Ouija board, or even allow one in my house.

Ouija boards are basically like walky talkies most ouija boards are not real ones but there are real ones that actually work, to many people have fallen prey to the train of thought that it's just a hoax and were attacked because of their ignorance.

Interesting..........a true story.....

My mother, dad and two friend in 1970 were playing with a Ouija board.....the first three questions they asked it were...

What would happen to me in my life
What would happen to my younger brother in his life

It answered that One would win honors on a battle field in China and the other one would be a preacher......My brother pastors a church and both of us have been "preaching the word" for a combined 56 years....as a Marine they can come get me up to the age of 70 if needed in a war....we fight Korea we will be fighting China.

They then asked it about my dad three times (about his future) ALL three times it shot off the board without being "helped"

2 weeks later he was killed in a mining accident....he had no future.

It is reported that when the game was made an actual witch cast a so called spell over the game.......and I have personally spoken to those who have done the other on your list...only to have tables float, be covered with scratches and have the crap scare out of them....

Just saying....believe what you wish to believe!

People that hold the same belief, opinions or doctrine.

The reason the LORD admonishes one from consulting with familiar spirits should be somewhat obvious; how do you gain a greater perception and understanding from hearing the advice from those who are going to tell you what you already think and believe.

I can imagine spirits to know what happened/happens.

But on what basis do they know (or well guess) future events?
