Paul say in Romans 14 that is OK to esteemeth every day alike mean sabbath is like monday or sunday

now answere my question you not cook oN sabbath because there is a verse that regulate not to cook oN sabbath. Is that mean you believe all verse that regulate sabbath still valid? I ask this question 3 X my friend, why don't your answere?
Good luck my friend trying to tell God that on judgement day. No where in Romans 14 does it say that it is referring to God's 4th Commandment. No where in Romans 14 does it say that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day. You have been warned my friend as the scriptures testify against you.

All your questions have been answered but as was said earlier you do not believe God's Word. This is a witness agaisnt you. You have been warned and your salvation is now between you and God whos Word you reject.

It is time to leave Sunday school. God is calling those out from following man made traditions to whorship him in Spirit and in truth accirding to the Word of God. Those who do not FOLLOW him do not KNOW him.

....................

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

Hello Jackson, your questions have been answered. Please work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. It is God you need to answer to my friend not me. Only God's Word is true and it is the Word of God that will judge us all in the last day. Those who knowingly practice SIN will not enter into the KINGDOM of Heaven.

Malachi 1Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)

1 A prophecy, the word of Adonai to Isra’el through Mal’akhi:

2 “I love you,” says Adonai.
But you ask, “How do you show us your love?”
Adonai answers, “‘Esav was Ya‘akov’s brother.
Yet I loved Ya‘akov 3 but hated ‘Esav.
I made his mountains desolate
and gave his territory to desert jackals.”
4 Edom says, “We are beaten down now,
but we will come back and rebuild the ruins.”
Adonai-Tzva’ot answers, “They can build,
but I will demolish.
They will be called the Land of Wickedness,
the people with whom Adonai is permanently angry.
5 You will see it and say, ‘Adonai is great,
even beyond the borders of Isra’el.’”
6 “A son honors his father and a servant his master. But if I’m a father, where is the honor due me? and if I’m a master, where is the respect due me? — says Adonai-Tzva’ot to you cohanim who despise my name. You ask, ‘How are we despising your name?’ 7 By offering polluted food on my altar! Now you ask, ‘How are we polluting you?’ By saying that the table of Adonai doesn’t deserve respect; 8 so that there’s nothing wrong with offering a blind animal as a sacrifice, nothing wrong with offering an animal that’s lame or sick. Try offering such an animal to your governor, and see if he will be pleased with you! Would he even receive you?” asks Adonai-Tzva’ot. 9 So if you pray now that God will show us favor, what your actions have accomplished is that Adonai-Tzva’ot asks, “Will he receive any of you? 10 Why doesn’t even one of you shut the doors and thus stop this useless lighting of fires on my altar? I take no pleasure in you,” says Adonai-Tzva’ot, “and I will not receive an offering from you. 11 For from farthest east to farthest west my name is great among the nations. Offerings are presented to my name everywhere, pure gifts; for my name is great among the nations,” says Adonai-Tzva’ot. 12 “But you profane it by saying that the table of Adonai is polluted, so that the fruit and food offered deserve contempt. 13 You also say, ‘It’s all so tiresome!’ and sniff scornfully at it,” says Adonai-Tzva’ot. “Then you bring animals that were taken by violence, or they are lame or sick. This is the sort of offering you bring. Am I supposed to accept this from you?” asks Adonai. 14 “Moreover, cursed is the deceiver who has a male animal in his flock that is damaged, but vows and sacrifices to Adonai anyway. For I am a great king,” says Adonai-Tzva’ot, “and my name is respected among the nations.

Funny how he's more than happy to keep telling you that you are going to hell no matter what Jesus has done for you, no matter what faith you have, because he tells you you are condemned by the burden of law -- but he won't lift a finger to help you

He is calling all who have ears to hear and eyes to see. These are they that are blind and deaf. In times of ignorance God winks at and he is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is long suffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. It is hard to kick against the pricks.

Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. The wind blows where it wants, and you hear the sound thereof, but cannot tell where it comes, and where it goes: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

Do you know the scriptures? Only God's Word is true and we must BELIEVE and FOLLOW him who LOVES us. UNBELIEVERS have no part in the KINGDOM of HEAVEN.

Whosoever commits sin is a servant of sin. If the son shall make you free you shall be free indeed. Abide in me, and I in you.

As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins hath not seen him, neither known him.

Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning.

For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. We are sinners indeed but we have a Saviour for those that our Heavenly father have given ears to hear and eyes to see.

Do you know the scriptures my friend?

Sin will keep all who practice it out of God's Kingdom.

My dear friend if you do not know what the Old Covenant is, how can you know what the NEW Covenant is? If you do not know the scriptures how can you know the Word of God? If you do not know the Word of God how can you know Jesus who calls us in love?

He knocks at the door but who will let him in? Many are called but few are chosen. Only those that have ears to hear follow him who calls them and opens the door to hear him.

There is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; and hid, that shall not be known. I must speak in the light and what I hear preach in the housetops. Many will not hear because they do not know Him. He is the Word of God and those that believe him are those that he has chosen. They follow him because they love him and are loved by him.

Those that do not hear him do not follow Him and do not know him because their mirror is lost or broken and they can no longer find their way.

Your questions have been answered indeed with scripture and you ignore them. It is ok my brother there is nothing hidden that shall not be revealed come judgement day. Your salvation is between you and God. You know the scriptures but refuse them it is between you and God now. We are not under the Old Covenant we are in the NEW. We are not living in the Old Covenant and the CIVIL laws of Israel living in Israel. We do not kill anyone for comitting Adultery of break the Sabbath. Now this is God's judgement time at the second coming. Death penalty kill the violator as you say will come. It is coming to all those who practice SIN. It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God when you reject His Word. Death penalty kill the violator is coming at the 2nd coming for those who reject God's GIFT

I am not SDA so I am not think It sin, she pay me and I need money anyway. But AS sabbath observance, do you think It is sin?

Why you not cook in sabbath, is there any verse say not cook in sabbath?
I am NOT SDA either....the Bible/scripture/GOD's Word tells me what I should do ! and that applies to everyone who RESPECTS God...HE says 'Remember the Sabbath (7th) day to keep it holy' - meaning 'special and different from other days... you do not any work you can do on other days. Friday is 'preparation day and we should do as much of the work we can to prepare for Sabbath which is 'priority time for GOD '!!!
We do not need a verse/scripture for every single work/job that takes up time away from God and Christ...we know in our own mind and heart !
Why are you so concerned what OTHER people do on the Sabbath ? 'work out YOUR OWN salvation !!! that is what we are responsible for !

Hello friend well that is not true at all. I only Share God's Word in LOVE for all those that have ears to hear. If you see and hear the Word of God and you feel convicted of SIN by His Spirit of LOVE, this is GOOD NEW INDEED for you because it is God who is calling you in LOVE to take up your cross and FOLLOW him. SEEK him and he will be found call upon him while he is near. Tomorrow may be too late.

It is only BAD NEWS if you hear the WORD of God and reject His Word to you and harden your heart from the Spirit of God calling you. Many it is true are called but few it is true are chosen because most love darkness rather then light because their deeds are evil. God's Sheep hear His Voice.

Hello FD, nice to meet you and welcome to this thread :). Some comments for your consideration below.

Eph 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
(NOTE: Believers are already seated in heavenly places, thru faith in Christ)
Who are the BELIEVERS? If you profess you BELIEVE but do not FOLLOW are you a BELIEVER of the Word of God?

Jesus is our Sabbath, key to understanding this is the Hebrew word sabat, which means "to rest or stop or cease from work."
Where in all the scriptures of God's Word does it say that Jesus is a Sabbath?

Hebrews 10:1 tells us that the law "could never, by the same sacrifices repeated endlessly year after year, make perfect. These sacrifices were offered in anticipation of the ultimate redemptive sin atoning sacrifice. Found in the death, burial & resurrection of Jesus the Christ. Who "after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down on the right of God" (Hebrews 10:12).
What law is Hebrews 10 talking about?

After performing the ultimate sacrifice. He sat down and rested, ceased from His labor of atonement, because there was nothing more to be done, EVER!
Really? What is going to happen at the 2nd coming?

Hebrews 4, has the definitive passage's regarding Jesus as our Sabbath rest. The writer to the Hebrews exhorts his readers to "enter in" to the Sabbath rest provided by Christ. Because of what Christ did (HIS WORKS), we no longer have to "labor" in law keeping in order to be justified in the sight of God.
And yet there is no scripture support in all this Chapter saying that Jesus is a Sabbath? God's Word says; those who did not enter into God's Sabbath rest was because of their UNBELIEF and DISOBEDIENCE to God's Word. Only those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW God's Word are his people and these are those who enter into God's Sabbath rest.

"God made Him who had NO sin to be sin for us. So, that in Him we can become the righteousness of God" (2 Corinthians 5:21). We can now cease from our labors and rest in Him, not just one day a week, but everyday!
Your not resting if God if you are livinjg a life of SIN and breaking God's Commandments. SIN will keep all who practice it OUT of the KINGDOM of HEAVEN. Only those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW the WORD of GOD are his people and enter into God's Sabbath rest which the Word of God says is the 7th Day of the Week (Exodus 20:8-11)

As God incarnate, Jesus, can be our Sabbath rest because He is "Lord of the Sabbath" (Matthew 12:8).
Where does it say in the bible Jesus is a Sabbath? The scripture you quotes says.......

Matthew 12
8,
For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

This says Jesus is the Lord of the Sabbath DAY. So this is the "LORDS DAY"! It does not say that Jesus is a Sabbath. The Sabbath is the 7th Day of the creation week it is a DAY made HOLY for rest and no work is to be done on it.

"a Sabbath-keeping," is used in Hebrews 4:9 here the sabbath-keeping is the perpetual sabbath "rest" to be enjoyed uninterruptedly by believers in their fellowship with the Father and the Son, in contrast to the weekly Sabbath under the Law. Because this sabbath "rest" is the "rest" of God Himself, Hebrews 4:10 , its full fruition is yet future, though believers now enter into it. In whatever way they enter into Divine "rest," that which they enjoy is involved in an indissoluble relation with God
You seem a bit confused here the scripture reads as.........

Hebrews 4
9,
There remaineth therefore a REST to the people of God.
10, For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Please go back and look at the Greek meaning of the word "rest" used in Heb 4:9 its meaning is resting through keeping of a Sabbath or Sabbath observance. (I have provided Greek links below)

Hebrew 4:9 “There remaineth therefore a [Sabbath] rest [SUP]4520[/SUP] to the people of God.” (NAS; Heb 4:9)

The Greek word literally means “Sabbath keeping” or “Sabbath observance.” (links below)
Strong's Concordance 4520
sabbatismos: a sabbath rest Original Word: σαββατισμός, οῦ, ὁ Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine Transliteration: sabbatismos Phonetic Spelling: (sab-bat-is-mos') Short Definition: a Sabbath rest

Strong's Greek 4520

σαββατισμὸς — 1 Occ.
Hebrews 4:9N-NMS GRK: ἄρα ἀπολείπεται σαββατισμὸς τῷ λαῷ NAS: there remains a Sabbath rest for the people
KJV: therefore a rest to the people INT: Then remains a sabbath rest to the people

Thayer's Greek Lexicon
STRONGS NT 4520: σαββατισμός σαββατισμός, σαββατισμου, ὁ (σαββατίζω to keep the sabbath); 1. a keeping sabbath. 2. the blessed rest from toils and troubles looked for in the age to come by the true worshippers of God and true Christians (R. V. sabbath rest): Hebrews 4:9
. (Plutarch, de superstit. c. 3; ecclesiastical writings.)

Yes indeed only God's Word is true and we should believe and follow it.

....................

Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

so, you quote Romans 2. well if you keep reading the letter, in chapter 3, Paul goes on to say that no one will be justified in God's sight by the works of the Law. and that God has revealed His righteousness apart from the Law, and the righteousness comes through faith in Christ to all those who believe.
so, while you just pluck out verses and write your opinion and commentary, I try to respectfully and straightly handle the Word. because I fear God, and I dare not add or take away from the Word.

that is why I refuse to isolate verses and build theology around them. I recognize that Romans is a letter, and should be read as such, not chopped into pieces and my own commentary written around them.
Rom. 3:27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Paul says there is a "Law of Works" and a "Law of Faith".

Can you explain the difference since you don't build your religion around isolated scriptures?
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. The righteousness of the Faith; Jesus Christ.

By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name. For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith. the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;
Even the righteousness of God which is through the faith of Jesus Christ into all and upon all them that believe. By whom we also have access to the faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in expectation of the glory of God.
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
….Even the righteousness which is of faith. But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
Why? Because they sought it not by (the) faith, but as itwere by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and goingabout to establish their own righteousness (through their own efforts throughthe Law), have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God.
For Christ (the Faith) is the end of the law forrighteousness to everyone that believeth.
For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law,That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
But the righteousness which is of faith speaketh on thiswise, Say not in thine heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? (that is, to bringChrist, ( the Word, the Word, HIS Divine utterances, HIS Commandments and Statutes contained in the book of the LAW; HIS FAITH) down from above Or, Who shall descend into the deep? (that is, to bring upChrist, (the Word, HIS Commandments and Statutes contained in the book of the LAW; HIS FAITH) again from the dead. But what saith it? The word (Christ, HIS Commandments and Statutes contained in the book of the LAW; HIS FAITH) is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that we may do it; that is,the word of faith, which we preach;

So According to the Word of GOD By grace are We saved through faith; and that not of ourselves it is a gift from GOD. For obedience to the faith. For the just shall live by faith. The faith of Jesus Christ; into all and upon all them that believe. By whom we also have access to the faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in expectation of the glory of God. So by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.….Even the righteousness which is of faith. For Christ (the Faith) is the end of the law forrighteousness to everyone that believeth. The Word (Christ, HIS Commandments and Statutes contained in the book of the LAW; HIS FAITH) in our mouth, and in our heart: that we may do it; that is,the word of faith, which we preach. And that is the GOSPEL!

The problem with the lexicon you choose to share is they mixed commentary with the definition. I highlighted in bold the definition. The rest to which Vine shares is conjecture based on a biased opinion. Whether intentional or not; that is what it is.
