We are saved by GRACE through FAITH and not of OURSELVES it is a GIFT of GOD and not of WORKS lest any man should boast (Eph 2:8)

What is Grace for?

Rom 1
5,
By whom we have received GRACE and apostleship, FOR OBEDIENCE TO THE FAITH among all nations, for his name:

Romans 16
26,
But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith

Ministry of death engraved on tablets of stone.

Your covenant you have made with death it will be annulled. Your agreement, your treaty with the grave, it shall not stand
Romans 6
23,
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hello TG4L,

BIG Welcome to the thread. So nice to meet you here. Great questions BTW.

You are correct there is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says God's 4th Commandment has been abolished and we are now Commanded to keep Sunday as a Holy day.

Sunday worship is a man made traditions that has been introduced and handed down to Christianity by the Roman Catholic Church.

Yes you are correct here Friday sunset to Saturday Sunset is the true SEVENTH DAY SABBATH according to God's Word. This is God's time as the scriptures say...

Genesis 1
4,
And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness.
5, And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, one day. (ASV)

This corresponds with the Hebrew Calander system which has Saturday as the 7th Day of the week (wiki Hebrew Calander)

The Sabbath was made on the seventh day of the creation week...

Genesis 2
1,
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2,
And ON THE SEVENTH DAY God ended his work which he had made; and he RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY from all his work which he had made.
3,
And GOD BLESSED THE SEVENTH DAY, and made it HOLY <the 7th day>: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

RESTEDH7673שָׁבַת shabath (shaw-ɓath') v.
to repose, i.e. to cease from exertion.{used in many implied relations (causative, figurative or specific)}[a primitive root]KJV: (cause to, let, make to) cease, celebrate, cause (make) to fail, keep Sabbath, suffer to be lacking, leave, put away (down), (make to) rest, rid, still, take away.

Some points to note from the scriptures...............

v1
God completed creation in 6 days and RESTED on the SEVENTH DAY
v2
God RESTED on the SEVENTH DAY
v3
God SET APART the SEVENTH DAY and made THE SEVENTH DAY a HOLY DAY
v2
The SEVENTH DAY is part of the FINISHED WORK of the CREATION WEEK

Let's now look at God's 4th commandment............

Exodus 20
8,
Remember the SABBATH DAY, to KEEP IT HOLY. <Why?> Because God made it Holy for mankind and commands us to keep it as a Holy day
9,
Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work:
10,
But the SEVENTH DAY IS THE SABBATH of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: <WHY>
11,
For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the SEVENTH DAY: wherefore the LORD BLESSED THE SABBATH <DAY>, and HALLOWED IT.

SABBATH H7676 שַׁבָּת shabbath
(shab-bawth') n-e. 1. intermission, a period of temporary rest.2. (specifically) the Sabbath, the SEVENTH DAY being the day of rest.[intensive from H7673]KJV: (+ every) Sabbath. Root(s): H7673
Yep God makes it very clear in Genesis 2:2-3 and also in Exodus 20:8-11 that that SABBATH = SEVENTH DAY
The Sabbath was made for all mankind as a memorial of creation

Mark 2
27,
And he said unto them, THE SABBATH WAS MADE FOR MAN AND NOT MAN FOR THE SABBATH:
28,
Therefore the Son of man is LORD ALSO OF THE SABBATH.

God's Sabbth is the "LORD'S DAY" not Sunday as some people proclaim

Matthew 12:8
8,
For the Son of man is Lord even of the SABBATH DAY.

Looking at all the scriptures above the Sabbath is a HOLY DAY which the 4th Commandment says NO WORK is to be done on this day. All work including shopping and any business activities and transactions are to be completed before Friday sunset when the Sabbath begins.

Building on these scriptures above...............

In the NEW testament Jesus teaches us that it is lawful to do GOOD on the Sabbath (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56) and we are not to be budened by man made teaching around God's Sabbath because the Sabbath was made for mankind to be a delight not a buden.

Jesus is our example who kept the Sabbath as well as all those who followed him (Matt 12:1-8; 10-12; 24:20; Mark 3:1-5; Luke 6:1-10; 13:14-16; 14:1-5; John 7:22-23; 9:14; Mark 1:21; Mark 6:2; Luke 4:16; 31; Luke 14:1; 23:56; John 2:6; Matt 16:24; Acts 13:14; 13:27; 13:44; 15:21; 16:13; 17:2; 18:4; Rev 1:10)

Jesus taught that he was the maker and creator of the Sabbath and the God of creation (Hebrews 1:2; John 1:1-3; 14; Ephesians 3:9; Colossians 1:16-17; Mark 2:27)

Hope this is helpful. May God bless you as you continue in His Word.

............

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.
Thank you so much for th welcome!

Yes that has helped a lot. Thanks for answering my question and with scriptures. I appreciate this God Bless You!

Sabbath keeping with all it's rules and regulations, was part of a covenant with Israel (Exodus 16:23, 29; 31:12-18; 35:1-3; Leviticus 19:30; 23:2-3, 32; Numbers 15:32-36; 28:1-10; 29:39-40; I Chronicles. 23:30-31; II Chronicles 31:2-4; Isaiah 1:13; Amos 8:5; Nehemiah 10:31) that is not binding on Christians under the New Covenant.
The Sabbath is part of the Decalogue, HIS Law, HIS Word, HIS Commandments and Statutes contained in the Book of the Law. That which is to be kept guarded in our hearts, and in our minds, and in our mouths through Christ's indwelling that we do it, that is the word of Faith in which we preach.

*Colossians 2:16 - Therefore no one is to act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day 17 things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ.
Context; sabbath days not Sabbath Day. These are they which were handwritten to the ordinances not the ordinances themselves. The Commandments and Statues contained in the Book of the Law are placed in our hearts and in our mouths. The context of the passage connects verse sixteen and seventeen to verse fourteen.

Blotting out the handwriting to the ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross. (Col 2:14)

How can that which was placed in our hearts be contrary to us?

If we receive Christ, the Decalogue, HIS Commandments and Statutes contained in the Book of the Law IN our hearts we will not willfully transgress that to which we are. We are a New Creature in Christ Jesus; behold all things are new and of GOD. That is the GOSPEL.Couple that with the fact that Colossians 1 and 2 are dealing with the victory that we can have over sin through Christ. With that in mind also It is no wonder He was blotting out the handwriting to the ordinances which were against us.

The handwriting to the ordinances were the judgments, the meat and drink, festivals and sabbath days that pertained to getting us back in line with GOD after we sinned, not the Decalogue and the Commandments and Statutes that were contained in the Book of the Law that were to be in our hearts, and in our minds and in our mouths through the circumcision from GOD in the putting of the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ. (Col 2:11)

The Book of the Law contained the laws and instruction given by the Lord through Moses to the people of Israel. Are you a Jew under the Old Covenant? Nehemiah 8:1 - And all the people gathered as one man at the square which was in front of the Water Gate, and they asked Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses which the LORD had given to Israel.

Romans 10:8 - But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

SDA's remind me of Israel, who have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge and being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who BELIEVES. (Romans 10:1-4)

1 Corinthians 1:21 - For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who BELIEVE.

Romans 1:16 - For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who BELIEVES, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. It's time for you misguided teachers of the law to repent and BELIEVE the Gospel.

The Gospel is the "good news" of the death, burial and resurrection of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) and is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that BELIEVES.. (Romans 1:16). To BELIEVE the Gospel is to trust in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of your salvation.

NOT trust in Christ + the 10 commandments for salvation or trust in Christ + keeping the sabbath day for salvation which is not trusting exclusively in Christ for salvation. Man is saved by grace through faith, not works (Ephesians 2:8,9). Salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works" is a perversion of the Gospel (Galatians 1:6-9).

(Col 2:14)

(Col 2:11)
An unbiased reading of Colossians 2:16 will show that this is talking about not just "ceremonial Sabbaths." The words "ton sabbaton" or "sabbath days"; are the same words translated "Sabbath day" in Exodus 20:8 in the Septuagint (the Jewish translation of the Old Testament into Greek).

Look at Paul's reasoning, "Let no one judge you regarding a,

festival - yearly Sabbaths,
a new moon - monthly Sabbaths,
or a Sabbath day - weekly Sabbaths (or if you wish Sabbath days)"
CHRIST, he goes on to say is the "Substance", these things were shadows.

When this passage is compared with Galatians 4:9 an obvious connection in Paul's teaching is revealed:

"But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over again? You observe days and months and seasons and years."

Verse 10 flatly states, "you observe...",

days (weekly Sabbaths, corresponding to "Sabbath days in Col. 2)
months (new moons, corresponding to "a new moon" in Col. 2)
seasons (the 7 feasts, corresponding to "festivals" in Col. 2)
and years (the sabbatical year and the 50th year of Jubilee)

Obviously Paul is clearing speaking about the observances of all Jewish holy days, including the weekly Sabbath.

When God wants to refer to the whole system of Jewish holy days, rather than name them all, He would refer to the yearly, monthly and weekly as representing the whole system. SDA's argue that the Sabbath Day of Colossians 2:16 is the years Sabbaths. But yearly Sabbaths were already referred to in Colossians 2:16 as "festivals". The "Year, Month, Week" pattern is so well established in the Old Testament, that Colossians 2:16 must refer to the weekly Sabbath.

Yearly, monthly, weekly pattern proves it is the weekly sabbath

1 Chronicles 23:31 - Yearly (fixed festivals), monthly (new moons), weekly (Sabbaths)

2 Chronicles 2:4 - Yearly (appointed feasts), monthly (new moons), weekly (Sabbaths)

2 Chronicles 8:13 - Yearly (annual feasts), monthly (new moons), weekly (Sabbaths)

2 Chronicles 31:3 - Yearly (fixed festivals), monthly (new moons), weekly (Sabbaths)

Nehemiah 10:33 - Yearly (appointed times), monthly (new moon), weekly (Sabbaths)

Isaiah 1:13-14 - Yearly (appointed feasts), monthly (new moon), weekly (Sabbath)

Ezekiel 45:17 - Yearly (appointed feasts), monthly (new moons), weekly (Sabbaths)

Ezek 46:1-11 - Yearly (appointed feasts), monthly (new moons), weekly (Sabbath)

Hosea 2:11 - Yearly (festal assemblies), monthly (new moons), weekly (Sabbaths)

Galatians 4:10 - years, months, days

Colossians 2:16 - festival, new moon, Sabbath day

Sabbatarians often ask for one text in the Bible that commands Sunday worship and here it is:

LEVITICUS 23:5-11 - Look at verse 11: "'And he shall wave the sheaf before the Lord for you to be accepted; on the day after the sabbath the priest shall wave it.'" The day after the Sabbath is Sunday.

Read on specifically looking at Leviticus 23:15 - "'You shall also count for yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day when you brought in the sheaf of the wave offering; there shall be seven complete sabbaths. You shall count fifty days to the DAY AFTER THE SEVENTH SABBATH; then you shall present a new grain offering to the Lord.'" This is the Feast of Pentecost. It was one of the compulsory feasts of Israel.

Note on the day of Pentecost, a Sunday God's people were commanded to worship. God says, "On this same day you shall make a proclamation as well; you are to have a holy convocation. You shall do no laborious work. It is to be perpetual statute in all your dwelling places throughout your generations." Leviticus 23:21.

If you think this is only applying to "ceremonial" days, Leviticus 23 starts out talking about the weekly Sabbath (see Leviticus 23:1-4). It is called an appointed time and a holy convocation, along with all the other feast days of Israel. No distinction is made by God between these holy days and the weekly Sabbath. He includes them as being equally holy. This would mean that under the Old Covenant the First Fruits Sunday and the Pentecost Sunday were as holy and sanctified as Saturday.

If you think this only applies to Israel, that's the point. The Ten Commandment Covenant, the Old Covenant was made with Israel, and NOT with the Gentiles.

Look at Exodus 31:13, 16 and 17: "But as for you, speak to the sons of Israel, saying, 'You shall surely observe My sabbaths; for this is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations, that you may know that I am the Lord who sanctifies you....So the sons of Israel shall observe the sabbath, to celebrate the sabbath throughout their generations as a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between Me and the sons of Israel forever.."

mailmandan,
re: "NOT trust in Christ + the 10 commandments for salvation or trust in Christ + keeping the sabbath day for salvation which is not trusting exclusively in Christ for salvation. Man is saved by grace through faith, not works..."

Are you saying that not taking the Lord's name in vain or not working on the Sabbath are works?

Paul answers that question in Romans 7:7 - What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, "You shall not covet."

The command to keep the 'sabbath' is part of the 10 commandments. The 10 commandments were written on stone. They are the ministry of death and condemnation.

You contend that DEATH and CONDEMNATION are to be guarded in our hearts and minds and in our mouths through the indwelling of Christ???????

That is the worst kind of error.

2 Corinthians 3:7-9
7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraven in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not stedfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:
8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit be rather glorious?
9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more doth the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

What does the REAL bible say? What does the Word of TRUTH say?

Romans 8:1-2

1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

It can't be the 10 commandments that are placed in our hearts because there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

If it were meant for us to continually work at the ministry of death that shows our sins why would the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus deliver us from that?

Why would Paul tell us to stay free in Christ and not go back to our work at the Law?

Why would Peter tell us to not follow after the error of the wicked but to Grow in Grace and in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus?

Why would the Lord Jesus Christ Himself tell us to come to Him and receive rest if there is no such thing as rest from our work at the law?

The answer to these questions is that there is a REAL Gospel and a Real CHRIST and you are missing out because of your silly philosophy.

JESUS CAME TO FULFIL THE LAW:
Matthew 5:17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
(NOTE: Anyone claiming the law is still in effect. Is claiming Christ failed at his mission)

WILL OF THE FATHER:
Matt 7:21 Jesus said; Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

HOW WE DO THE WILL OF THE FATHER:
John 6:40 Jesus said; This is the will of him that sent me, that every one which "seeth the Son, and believeth on him" may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
(NOTE: The will of the Father is: Place your Faith/belief in the redemptive sin atoning sacrifice. Found in the death (sins required wage paid), burial & resurrection (God's stamp, payment received) of Jesus the Christ)

Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to every one that believeth.
(NOTE: Just as the Law of Lift, supersedes the Law of Gravity. The Law of Faith (Rom 3:27) supersedes the Law of Works

Gal 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

Rom 10:5 For Moses describeth the righteousness which is of the law, That the man which doeth those things shall live by them.
(NOTE: Live by the law, DIE by the law)

Galatians 5:4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.
(NOTE: To sabbatarians, scripture proclaims, you are fallen from grace)

The Law demands, righteousness, through works.

Grace, supplies righteousness, through faith.

Nehemiah 8:1 - And all the people gathered as one man at the square which was in front of the Water Gate, and they asked Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses which the LORD had given to Israel.

Rom. 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

Rom. 9:6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:

John 8:39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them,
If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

We are to be grafted into the Holy Tree. Israel didn't create the tree, Jesus, before becoming a man did. He calls those who are grafted into this tree "Israelites" just like you call those who go to your church "Christians".

Ex. 12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with thee, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.
49 One law shall be to him that is homeborn, and unto the stranger that sojourneth among you.

Col 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Anyone who trusts in God enough to follow His Instructions are considered "Home born" just as Abraham was considered home born. Your unbelief does not make the Word of God void.

We need look only to Jesus to know how to walk. He is truly the "Intent" of the Law for righteous. His walk defines righteousness.

1 John 2:5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Anyone who strives to do this will be hated in this world as Cain, who claimed God as his God, hated Abel because Able reflected the righteousness of Jesus. The Pharisees hated Jesus because Jesus obedience exposed their religious traditions as from man and not from God. Yes, by their Law they killed Him, but Jesus "Triumphed over THEM" on the cross.

You preach Jesus only created instructions for one specific DNA. "Jews". But Paul teaches differently.

Col. 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:

These are "shadows" of God's Salvation plan which begins with Passover. They were created by Jesus as God of the Old Testament, not man. Don't let some religious man trick you into turning your back on God's Salvation and following man.

18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,

The Pharisees had created their own religion, with their own High Days, their own version of God's Sabbath, their own Laws.

Refusing to accept this truth causes your foolish heart to be darkened. As a result;

25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Keeping GOD's Commandments is a curse ? ...you know they are the law of LOVE Jesus teaches in the NT, loving God and neighbour in a New Way ...the old has passed away!
Commandments are the same....OBSERVANCE has changed with the New Priesthood Jesus Christ. A 'change' in the law is 'not an abolition.

Grandpa is correct. Sometimes the KJV is difficult to understand. The verse you quote is telling us that all who live by the law are under a curse. Further, no one is justified by the law. However, the person who keeps the commandments (all of them) will have life. Trouble is, we never do keep the commandments, neither can we. So stop worrying about the commandments and live by faith. For Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us. May God in Christ Jesus bless you.

Gal 3:10-13 ISV
(10) Certainly all who depend on the actions of the Law are under a curse. For it is written, "A curse on everyone who does not obey everything that is written in the Book of the Law!"
(11) Now it is obvious that no one is justified in the sight of God by the Law, because "The righteous will live by faith."
(12) But the Law has nothing to do with faith. Instead, "The person who keeps the commandments will have life in them."
(13) The Messiah redeemed us from the curse of the Law by becoming a curse for us. For it is written, "A curse on everyone who is hung on a tree!"

You are obviously NOT aware that they are 'GOOD WORKS of GOD....seeing HE requires them !

it's not you who is misunderstood ..YOU misunderstand....a sign of the DISobedient.
The "GOOD WORKS of GOD" are done by God. He has justified us and redeemed us. All we need to do is to believe. Those who do not believe are described in the dictionary as atheists, or unbelievers. Quite obviously you do not believe in the redeeming work of the Lord Jesus Christ. Instead you seem to think you can save yourself by keeping the commandments. The bad news is, you cannot save yourself.

Walk trough the valley
Those of you who believe the Law can't help being exposed as sinners: as mentioned, the law is not of faith and believing the law you expect others to live up to your work or despise them: the law sais despise your enemy, Grace sais despise no one. The law exposes your absence of the new commandment. But You help dose who see the danger of being self righteous, not to think of ourselves as better as its of Grace, through Faith.

Requires them for what? Ephesians 2:10 - For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus FOR/UNTO good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. We are saved FOR good works, NOT BY good works (Ephesians 2:8-10; Titus 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:9). You try to "shoe horn" obey the 10 commandments "into" salvation through faith but the shoe does not fit. Refusing to obey the Gospel by choosing to believe the gospel is a sign of the disobedient (Romans 1:16; 10:16).

In regards to the 10 commandments, references for 9 of the 10 commandments under the Old Covenant are reiterated under the New Covenant, yet the command to keep the Sabbath day is not binding on Christians under the New Covenant.

1. You shall have no other gods before Me. - Acts 14:15
2. You shall make no idols. - 1 John 5:21
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain. - James 5:12
4. Keep the Sabbath day holy. - Not binding on the Church - Colossians 2:16-17
5. Honor your father and your mother. - Ephesians 6:1-2
6. You shall not murder. - Romans 13:9-10; 1 John 3:15
7. You shall not commit adultery. - Romans 13:9-10; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10
8. You shall not steal. - Romans 13:9-10; Ephesians 4:28
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. - Romans 13:9-10; Colossians 3:9-10
10. You shall not covet. - Romans 13:9-10; Ephesians 5:3

Salvation by "grace plus law, faith plus works" is a perverted Gospel. (Galatians 1:6-9; 2 Corinthians 4:3,4).

You obviously are NOT aware that - "He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant — not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills...the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone...the ministry that condemns" (2 Corinthians 3:6-9).
