This absolute lie on a Christian site??? Remember what Jesus said about the law. The law is 613 rules stated in the Torah. Are you telling people to ignore the law in spite of what Jesus said??

Matthew 5:13 to 20 NIV
Jesus saying he came to fulfill the law and the prophets.

Salt and Light
13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot.

14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

The Fulfillment of the Law
17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.
Jesus fulfilled the law, read my signature.

I look at this way. We have 6 days to get ready for the 7th. In other words I worship everyday. in a way as some might say but thoughs days are just the appetizer to the entrées
i see it this way

we have seven days to work for God

zero days to work for ourselves

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the first and great commandment.
39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.
and that's the weird thing

the second fulfills them all

How do you have the gall to say we should ignore the Old Testament. The Torah contains the law and as Paul stated the law tells us what good is. He complained that the law of sin in him caused him to break the law in spite of his belief in the law being good. He then thanked the sacrifice of Jesus paid the penalty for his failure. Are you trying to say we don't need the majority of the word of God? It is obvious to the casual observer that you shoot off your mouth before engaging your brain. A common failing we all have from time to time.

The 613 Mitzvot laws are the law of the land of Israel. I follow English law and you will follow American law. The New Testament explains God's law as expounded by Paul, Jesus and others. So as I say, as you aren't living in the Bronze Age you need to walk in the light of God's New Covenant, or as it is known, the New Testament.

those Under the law are often, but not always, guilty of breaking it.

i think being Under the law means being required to perform the actions prescribed by the law given 430 years after Abe
Only God's Word is true it does not matter what we think to be honest. That is why we share God's WORD and point all the him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE another. We should believe and follow God's Word as it is written..

Roman 3
3,
For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect?
4,
God forbid: yes, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That you might be justified in your sayings, and might overcome when you are judged.

We are free to BELIEVE God's WORD or reject it. None of us are to judge another it is the WORD of GOD that will judge us all in the last days (John 12:46-47)

Whether we BELIEVE or do not BELIEVE Gods' WORD, it does not change the outcome. UNBELIEF is SIN which is the breaking of God's Commandments. KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN will keep all those who practice it OUT of God's KINGDOM.

.................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11) If we knowingly break it when God asks us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has led many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

There is not one scripture in all of God's Word that says that God's 4th Commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to KEEP Sunday as a Holy day.

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

In times of ignorance God winks at but now ,<when a KNOWLEDGE of the truth has come> calls all men everywhere to REPENT (FOLLOW) (Acts 17:30-31).

I think however, that a man can’t love like the second until they fulfill the first.
I think this is because, we love him because he first loved us.
So, the two commandments are bound together.

In my life it was the love of God given to me by way of Christians loving me with brotherly love. It was their love I couldn’t ignore nor explain away. When I realized they loved me because of Jesus then God have me a Holy Bible and starting with the Gospel of John, I read till I got to John 3:16, and believed the words of Jesus.
God is love.

The law is a teacher and eventually we should realize the law condemns us all and is powerless to save us.
He who is forgiven much loves much.
The love of God in Jesus Christ is the power that is greater than the letter of the law that condemns us.
We can always learn from the Old Testament because it isn’t all about law.
The Old Testament is full of history, wisdom, songs, prophecy etc..
In the light of Jesus it is even more enriching to read and study.

Why are you ranting?
Jesus fulfilled the law.
Maybe you’re hung up on the fourth commandment because you haven’t entered into the rest of God.
Have you broken the 4th commandment and are now trying to fix it?

I believe you have missed the point of teaching sabbath altogether.
Follow Jesus and learn the truth about the sabbath rest of God, and how the law is but a schoolteacher leading you out of the condemnation of the letter of the law, unto Christ who shall set you free to love everyday.

Sorry Dan there is NO truth in that statement whatsoever.
well, we see it differently

Colossians 3: 16. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly; in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. 17. Whatever you do, in word or in deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him

You are indeed mixed up and do not know God's Word.
again, we disagree

Galatians 5: 13. For you, brothers, were called for freedom. Only don't use your freedom for gain to the flesh, but through love be servants to one another. 14. For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, in this: "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." - Bible Offline

Proverbs 1: 6. to understand a proverb, and parables, the words and riddles of the wise. - Bible Offline

Song of Solomon 8: 6. Set me as a seal on your heart, as a seal on your arm; for love is strong as death. Jealousy is as cruel as Sheol. Its flashes are flashes of fire, a very flame of Yahweh. 7. Many waters can't quench love, neither can floods drown it. If a man would give all the wealth of his house for love, he would be utterly scorned.

i believe you spoke of having a spiritual understanding of the law

that reminded me of no longer being Under a tutor

these mean that we no longer have to do the physical requirements of the law that was given 430 years after Abe
I consider all of God's Word included in His instruction. New and Old Testament. Jesus said Spiritual understanding is required to understand His Word. This would also include Galatians and what Law existed and what Law was "ADDED" to the existing Law.

If you understood this, you would understand the difference between "Law of Faith" and the "The Law of Works" that was "ADDED" to it.

God's word is just marks on a page until a mind, empowered by the Spirit, reads it and attaches meaning to it.

Acts 17: 11. Now these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of the mind, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so. - Bible Offline

1 Corinthians 2: 16. "For who has known the mind of the Lord, that he should instruct him?" But we have Christ's mind.

33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

God teaches us that the New Covenant is the changing of the Priesthood, not the changing of God's Laws.

No more Levite Priests to administer God's Instructions, no more Levite Priests to take our sacrifice and perform Levitical "works of the Law" for remission of sins. Jesus writes God's Laws in our hearts, and forgives our sin's with His Blood.

Any more than that is you adding your own words to justify religious traditions.

This is the reason for my fundamental disagreement with your religion. You constantly replace God's Words with your own ancient religious traditions.
