John 16: 12. "I have yet many things to tell you, but you can't bear them now.

Jesus continues to teach us through his apostles

Jesus said this through Paul

Galatians 4: 4. But when the fullness of the time came, God sent out his Son, born to a woman, born under the law

Galatians 5: 18. But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

Lev. 23:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of the LORD,( The Word which became Flesh) which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my (The Word which became Flesh) feasts.

John 14:23 Jesus (The Word which became Flesh) answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

Your understand of this one scriptures does not make any the Word's of God void.

The scriptures don't say "Walk even as He walked" unless your ancient religious traditions direct you into an different path.
we ought to Walk even as He walked

doesn't mean we take all the same actions

or do you believe that it does?

Jackson123,

Any particular reason for feeling the need to include prove-all's whole post and then comment on only one sentence from it?
because my iPad is an old iPad and not able to do partial quote. I do not know why, may be I do not know the trick. If you know or experience how, let me know.

some of our beloved Christian brothers and sisters want to follow Jesus the same way his very Jewish disciples did before his death, and stop there.

I believe the Bible Dan. Not just verses I can use to justify my religious lifestyle, but ALL the Words.

I believe the Word which became Flesh created "Good Works" for the repentant to "Walk in". I believe the Word which became Flesh walked in these same "Works" as our example, and instructed us to do the same.

Eph. 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
9 Not of (Man's) works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God (The Word which became Flesh, not men) hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

If we find out through study that His Work, created for us, is contrary to our religious tradition, or the religious traditions of the land, we should choose the Word's and instructions of God, over the instructions of the "Many" who come in His Name.

but the risen Jesus says

Acts 1: 8. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."
He went to the people who had been deceived by the Pharisees first. Just like He Prophesied.

37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. (Instead of Killing them as was their tradition)

After their rejection of Him was done, He sent His Apostles to the gentiles as prophesied by the Word which became Flesh.

Hosea 2:23 And I will sow her unto me in the earth; and I will have mercy upon her that had not obtained mercy; and I will say to them which were not my people, Thou art my people; and they shall say, Thou art my God.

So once again, your religious tradition and doctrines are proven as from man and not from God.

can you be more specific plz?
The first passover was when God covered Adams nakedness[type of sin]
with skins from an animal, shead blood.

God passed over the houses that had the blood of the lamb on their doorpost.
God also passes over (forgives) our sins when we repent of them and come
under the shed blood of Jesus Christ our Passover, sacrificed for us.

-this do in remembrance of me, this is the start of the 14th

1Co 11:23 For I have received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you,
That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he was betrayed took bread:

1Co 11:24 And when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, Take, eat:
this is my body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of me.

1Co 11:25 After the same manner also he took the cup, when he had supped,
saying, This cup is the [new testament] in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye
drink it, in remembrance of me.

-referring back to this...

Luk 22:15 And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat
this [passover with you] before I suffer: For I say unto you, I will not
any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

Luk 22:17 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said,
Take this, and divide it among yourselves:

Luk 22:18 For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine,
until the kingdom of God shall come.

Luk 22:19 And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them,
saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

Luk 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying,
This cup is [the new testament] in my blood, which is shed for you.

Do what in remembrance of me? They were taking the Passover.
Jesus changed the symbles of the passover only, did not do away with it.
-

The Master saith, My time is at hand;
I will keep the passover at thy house with my disciples.”

The Greek word for “passover” in these two verses is pascha. Strong’s Concordance
defines this word as, “the Passover, the meal, the festival.” Any lexicon verifies this
definition. Verse 19 continues, “And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them;
and they made ready the passover.” They made ready the Passover—same Greek word.
If this event was only referring to a final meal or last supper, certainly the word [pascha]
would not have been inspired.

Notice Mark’s account: “And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house,
The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?”
(Mark 14:14). Same Greek word—pascha. This same word is also used in Luke 22: 15
“And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer”

The Passover service also consists of the foot washing...

Joh 13:12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments,
and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?
Joh 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.
Joh 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet;
ye also ought to wash one another's feet.

Joh 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.
Joh 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord;
neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

Joh 13:17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.
and then Paul says this...

1Co 5:6 Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth
the whole lump? Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump,
as ye are unleavened. For even Christ our passover is sacrificed for us:

1Co 5:8 Therefore let us keep [the feast],
not with old leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and wickedness;
but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

This feast day refered here is a "Holy convocation" the first day of unleavened bread.
And he said that to a Gentile church, to keep the feast of unleavened bread.
-

Acts 12:3 (KJV)
And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also.
(Then were the days of unleavened bread.)

Acts 20:6 (KJV)
And we sailed away from Philippi after (the days of unleavened bread),
and came unto them to Troas in five days; where we abode seven days.

-So we see the Apostles also keep this feast, [and all the days]
of unleavened bread. We also have history to back this up.

After the death of the apostle John, a disciple of his, Polycarp, waged a
controversy over the Passover-Easter question with the bishop of Rome

Still later, another disciple of Christ’s true Christianity,
Polycrates, waged a still hotter controversy over the same
Passover-Easter question with another bishop of Rome.

This theological battle was called the Quartodeciman Controversy.
Polycrates contended, as Jesus and the original apostles taught,
that the Passover should be observed in the new Christian form
introduced by Jesus and by the apostle Paul (1 Corinthians 11),

using unleavened bread and wine instead of sacrificing a lamb,
on the eve of the 14th Nisan (first month in the sacred calendar,
occurring in the spring).

But [the Rome church] insisted that it be observed on a Sunday.

the Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread was a memorial,
ordained forever, before one word of the old covenent was spoken!

Nowhere is a Sunday morning Ishtar sunrise service taught in scripture
but the Passover and the Days of Unleavened Bread are taught!

But God also [gave us warning that times] would be changed by the little horn.

Do you know from history who changed Gods times running on the moon,
to now today running off of a man made solor calender?

Who changed all of Gods convocation or Holy days,
to man made holidays observed today.

Jesus tells his disciples different things at different times

Matthew 10: 5. Jesus sent these twelve out, and commanded them, saying, "Don't go among the Gentiles, and don't enter into any city of the Samaritans. 6. Rather, go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

but the risen Jesus says

Acts 1: 8. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you. You will be witnesses to me in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the uttermost parts of the earth."
Before His death, burial and resurrection He taught mainly Hebrews, to build up a base of disciples to caryy His words to the world,

Matthew 10:5, "יהושע sent these twelve out, having commanded them, saying, “Do not go into the way of the nations, and do not enter a city of the Shomeronim,"6, "but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra’ĕl."7, "“And as you go, proclaim, saying, ‘The reign of the heavens has drawn near.’"8, "“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. You have received without paying, give without being paid."9, "“Do not acquire gold or silver or copper for your money-belts,"10, "or a bag for the journey, or two undergarments, or sandals, or staffs, for the worker is worthy of his food."11, "“And into whatever city or village you enter, ask who is worthy in it, and stay there until you leave."12, "“And as you enter into a house, greet it."13, "“And if the house is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you."14, "“And whoever does not receive you nor hear your words, when you leave that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet."

after His resurrection He told them to carry it to the world:

Mat 28:19-20, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit, and make disciples of all the nations, immersing them in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Set-apart Spirit. Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. And lo, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

“nations” is word #G1484 - ethnos: a race, a nation, pl. the nations (as distinct from Isr.), Original Word: ἔθνος, ους, τό, Part of Speech: Noun, Neuter, Transliteration: ethnos, Phonetic Spelling: (eth'-nos), Short Definition: a race, people, the Gentiles, Definition: a race, people, nation; the nations, heathen world, Gentiles.

Mat 24:35, “Heaven and earth may pass away, but My teachings will not pass away.”

Mat 24:11-14, “And many false prophets shall rise up and lead many astray. And because of the increase in lawlessness, the love of many shall become cold. But he who shall have endured to the end shall be saved. And this Good News of the reign shall be proclaimed in all the world as a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.”

Note from Mat 28, "Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you"

They are supposed to teach the nationsWHAT HE TAUGHT them, not a different message for gentiles than Hebrews.

If we find out through study that His Work, created for us, is contrary to our religious tradition, or the religious traditions of the land, we should choose the Word's and instructions of God, over the instructions of the "Many" who come in His Name.
amen to that!

have you amazed some Jewish legal specialists with your understanding?

Luke 2: 46. It happened after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the teachers, both listening to them, and asking them questions. 47. All who heard him were amazed at his understanding and his answers.

i think Jesus is just referring to the bread and wine because

1 Corinthians 11: 20. When therefore you assemble yourselves together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat. 21. For in your eating each one takes his own supper first. One is hungry, and another is drunken. 22. What, don't you have houses to eat and to drink in? Or do you despise God's assembly, and put them to shame who don't have? What shall I tell you? Shall I praise you? In this I don't praise you. 23. For I received from the Lord that which also I delivered to you, that the Lord Jesus on the night in which he was betrayed took bread. 24. When he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me."

this seems to be happening every time that church assembled

not just once a year

"after His resurrection He told them to carry it to the world"

Yes, we agree he changed it
or mediated it differently

so, when we "teach the nations WHAT HE TAUGHT them" we use the most recent mediation

Funny how you add something I didnt say and say we agree on it. Something that you don't explain and can mean a number of different things. what did He "change" or "mediate differently"

TO me His teaching did not and do not change:

Mat 24:35, “Heaven and earth may pass away, but My teachings will not pass away.”

nor did the Law:

Mat 5:18, "I say to you; Unless heaven and earth passes away, one yodh; the smallest of the letters will in no way pass from the Law, until all things are perfected."

Revelation 21:1, "I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away."

According to Hebrews, and we are talking what it actually says not common misconception about what it says, the priesthood changed and the Law was transferred, but most look at the english word "change" and make their own doctrine based off english rather than look at the Greek;

Hebrews 7:11-12, “Now if perfection had been attainable through the Levitical priesthood (for under it the people received the law), what further need would there have been for another priest to arise after the order of Melchizedek, rather than one named after the order of Aaron? For the priesthood being changed (#G3331), there is made of necessity a change (#G3346) also of the law.”

“For the priesthood being changed (#G3331)”

“changed” is word #G3331 μετάθεσις metathesis (me-ta'-the-sis) n., transposition, i.e. transferral (to heaven), disestablishment (of a law). [from G3346], KJV: change, removing, translation, Root(s): G3346

Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
#G3331 μετάθεσις metathesis; 1) transfer: from one place to another 2) to change 2a) of things instituted or established

As in the priesthood on earth, the Levite priesthood has been abolished, and the Priesthood in the heavens, carried out by Yahshua is established. This “change” or “metathesis” is a removal of one that is replaced by another.

“change” is word #G3346 μετατίθημι metatithemi (me-ta-tiy'-thee-miy) v., 1. to transfer., 2. (literally) to transport., 3. (by implication) to exchange., 4. #G3346 μετατίθημι metatithemi; From G3326 and G5087; to transfer, that is, (literally) transport, (by implication) exchange, (reflexively) change sides, or (figuratively) pervert:—carry over, change, remove, translate, turn.

As in the Law has been transferred, not mediated by Levites but mediated by Yahshua the High Priest. This “change” or “metatithemi” is a transferral.

not quite

he orders his
disciples
one thing here

Jesus sent these twelve out, and commanded them, saying, "Don't go among the Gentiles ... go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

changes it later on
You words or religion doesn't make void the Scriptures or the Prophesies.

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.
28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
