Pretty harsh even for you G9.

I don't believe or have faith in your scholars or your history books. I am perfectly fine with the Word's of the Christ explaining why the Pharisees refused to listen to God. The fact that you must go outside the Bible to support your religion makes my point perfectly.

So just to make sure I have this right, you are preaching that the scholars and History books can over ride the Word's of Christ.

So because they say the Pharisees were obeying God's Laws, we must reject the Word's of Christ which say they were "Teaching for Doctrines the Commandments of Men" because their father was not God, but the devil, which I just showed you and you rejected completely.

So the man who chooses Christ's words over yours and your scholars are legalists who slink around telling lies.

Well that explains a lot about your belief and that of your friends.

The Romans were not the enemy of God's People G9. The doctrines and traditions and laws of the Mainstream God of Abraham preachers of that time were their enemy of the people.

Can you deny that?
Something you ignore is written history gets corrected by archaeological digs. They prove the Bible is 100% accurate when enough digs on a site are done. One archeologist friend told me when a dig is made they dig a trench and very important evidence might be a few feet away from the trench. Archaeological evidence is only as good as what is and isn't found. Large scale evidence is easy to find. Sodom's pyroclastic blast of the whole city and Jericho's walls. On the other hand a sign about David being a king is small. In one city it was found in a third dig. That was the first archaeological evidence that David existed and was king. So far when enough archaeological digs are done in a city in the Bible it ends up exactly as the Bible states. It often repudiates secular history.

I belong to the same church as Abel, Abraham, Noah, Caleb, Moses, Zechariahs, Ezekiel, James, Paul, Stephen, and many others. The Head of this Church is the Word which became Flesh who gave you and I the following instructions

You should be more interested in the Word's of the Great God of Abraham, the Word which became Flesh, than you are the size of the church I belong to or a way for you to label it as "many" on this forum do.

Jer. 6:16 Thus saith the LORD (Word which became Flesh), Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.
17 Also I set watchmen over you, saying, Hearken to the sound of the trumpet. But they said, We will not hearken.

18 Therefore hear, ye nations, and know, O congregation, what is among them. (Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord)

19 Hear, O earth:(Everybody) behold, I will bring evil upon this people, even the fruit of their thoughts, because they have not hearkened unto my words, nor to my law, but rejected it.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?
47 Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he is like:

Anytime you want to have an intellectually honest conversation about these Word's of the Christ, I am glad to be of service brother.
Out of interest, who do you think said this below? Do you think the man gathering sticks on the Sabbath was ordered to be stoned to death by the WORD made flesh who you quote in John 14 and Luke 6, or do you think it was a different LORD who the Pharisees followed?

Num 15:32-36 KJV
(32) And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
(33) And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
(34) And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.
(35) And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.
(36) And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.

right, Paul and Silas had fellowship together

and this is a good example for us

it is God for Christians to meet together

not good to be a Christian Loner
You mean if we don't meet 'in person' we are Loners ?

could not be further from the truth...you are not recognising the power of the SPIRIT !

4 And did all drink the same spiritual drink: for they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them: and that Rock was Christ5 But with many of them God was not well pleased: for they were overthrown in the wilderness.

6 Now these things were our examples, to the intent we should not lust after evil things, as they also lusted.

11 Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

I understand why this happened because the Word which became Flesh tells me above. All I have to do is listen and believe.

I believe what the Word tells me. And it tells me He withholds the truth from people who judge Him and use some of His Words to further man made religious doctrines and traditions as did the Pharisees.. It has been my experience that this also, is true.

I don't judge His Word as true because some man finds evidence in the ground.

Please tell us in your words why they took the name of the LORD in vain.

Jesus (the Word which became Flesh) tells us, but I want to hear your explanation to see if it tallies with the Words of Jesus.

I don't judge His Word as true because some man finds evidence in the ground.
It provides evidence to unbelievers that the Old Testament including Genesis is 100% accurate. Then they are left without any reasonable understanding that God doesn't exist. Also the big bang theory defies 5 scientific laws. Also OOPARTS demonstrates billions of years old earth.

Refute these scientific laws or admit you are placing your faith in the impossible.
Keep in mind that if I am wrong how does that hurt me
However if you are wrong you are in deep dodo.

Do you understand what vain meant in 1611?
Modern translations say misuse God's name. That means making God responsible for men's actions and/or words.

that's great!

now, the believers that you share Passover with,
and those you gather with,

are any of them alive?
or have they all died?

(serious question, not mocking)

Loners as far as people go, yes

3 John 1: 9. I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loveth to have the preeminence among them, receiveth us not. 10. Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he doeth, prating against us with malicious words: and not content therewith, neither doth he himself receive the brethren, and forbiddeth them that would, and casteth them out of the church.

in order for that to make sense, there must have been a physical presence to a church that someone could be cast out of

14. Greet the friends by name.

i think that's a good thing

i see taking God's name in vain this way

You must not use the name of the*Lord*your God thoughtlessly; theLord*will punish anyone who misuses his name.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus20&version=NCV

No using the name of*God,*your God, in curses or silly banter;*God*won’t put up with the irreverent use of his name.

https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Exodus20&version=MSG
That is correct. However, if I said God told me to murder my wife (I'm not married by the way) then it would be fair to ask,"which God told you that. Was it the "Word made flesh" who told you to kill your wife, or was it another God?

I do not rely on my understanding PS. I rely on the Word of God for these kinds of answers. In this case
Paul answers your question and I agree with him.

Rom. 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God,(They judged God, belittled God, and created their own god, kind of like you do when you speak of the OT.) neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

This is why "Many", not all, they took God's Nain in Vain.

There are 17 living adult members of believers, and their children, that I meet with frequently during the week, on all Holy days if we are all healthy, and every Sabbath of Jesus.

(Rom 1:21) Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
(Rom 1:22) Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
(Rom 1:23) And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.

Even though they knew the true God (V21) they foolishly changed the uncoruptable God into an image like unto corruptable man, birds, fourfooted beasts and creeping things (V23) and professing themselves wise they became fools (v22) and did things in the name of their false God, that are despised by the uncoruptable God.

People understandably say, the God who the Old Testament people followed in their foolishness, is not the God of the New Testament.

So, with that in mind, do you think Christians should take Moses and Joshua for their role model or should Christians follow in the footsteps of Jesus and learn from his example?

Moses and Joshua were 2 of the loyal Hebrews, because others were not does not also make them bad...

The "sond og the Lamd and the song of Moses" are sung in the Kingdom:

Revelation 15:3, “And they sing the song of Mosheh the servant of יהוה, and the song of the Lamb, saying, “Great and marvelous are Your works, יהוה Strength Almighty! Righteous and true are Your ways, O Sovereign of the set-apart ones!”

and Joshua told them to worship YHWH not false mighty ones'

Joshua 24:14-25,14 “And now, fear יהוה, serve Him in perfection and in truth, and put away the mighty ones which your fathers served beyond the River and in Mitsrayim, and serve יהוה!"15 “And if it seems evil in your eyes to serve יהוה, choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve, whether the mighty ones which your fathers served that were beyond the River, or the mighty ones of the Amorites, in whose land you dwell. But I and my house, we serve יהוה.”"16 And the people answered and said, “Far be it from us to forsake יהוה, to serve other mighty ones,"17 for יהוה our Elohim is He who has brought us and our fathers up out of the land of Mitsrayim, from the house of bondage, who did those great signs before our eyes, and has guarded us in all the way that we went and among all the people through whom we passed."18 “And יהוה drove out from before us all the people, even the Amorites who dwelt in the land. We too serve יהוה, for He is our Elohim.”"19 Then Yehoshua said to the people, “You are not able to serve יהוה, for He is a set-apart Elohim, a jealous Ěl is He. He does not bear with your transgression and with your sins,"20 if you forsake יהוה and shall serve mighty ones of a stranger. Then He shall turn back and do you evil and consume you, after He has been good to you.”"21 And the people said to Yehoshua, “No, but we do serve יהוה!”"22 Then Yehoshua said to the people, “You are witnesses against yourselves that you have chosen יהוה for yourselves, to serve Him.” And they said, “Witnesses!”"23 “And now, put away the mighty ones of the stranger which are in your midst, and incline your heart to יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl.”"24 And the people said to Yehoshua, “יהוה our Elohim we serve, and His voice we obey.”"25 And Yehoshua made a covenant with the people that day, and laid on them a law and a right-ruling in Sheḵem."

With that said Yahshua is 100% our example, none other, however this does not mean we can slander brothers who have their position in the kingdom sealed already..

WIll you sing the song if Moses if you enter the Kingdom?
