Matthew 27:54-56 King James Version (KJV)
54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
55 And many women were there beholding afar off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:
56 Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedees children.

54 When the •army officer [centurion]and •the soldiers [L those with him]guarding Jesus saw this earthquake and everything else that happened, they were •very frightened [filled with awe] and said, “He really was the Son of God!”
55 Many women who had followed Jesus from Galilee to •help [provide support for; minister to] him were standing at a distance from the cross, watching. 56 Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of James and John were •there [among them].

54 Because of what happen these men also had faith, the criminal next to Jesus came to faith and now the centurions, Jesus was still winning souls as He died, He still wins souls today. Does our witness in hard times point people to faith in God.
55 These women ministered to Jesus’ body and served Him during His ministry both before and after the cross.
56 We see these women listed many times, they most likely followed Jesus during the whole ministry as the lone as many of the 12.
