I am fall away Christian for almost 17 years. I am here sharing about Disciples entering different places. Disciples are role models in his community. Disciples being model to the community around the world envied by other groups because of their faith, hope and charity. The Hope Worldwide. Because of having big responsibility they are tracked by elite, Intel group including high technology to see if they really true to their missions. The Intel groups records these groups if they are worthy to their missions gracefully Intel reports that 99 percent are not smoking cigarettes, never seen in the beerhouses.

Questionable strategy in my honest opinion.

We do not have international church of Christ here in Finland.

This type of behavior is definitely not God-like. Spying on people to make sure they "follow the rules" ?

That is a cult, pure and simple.... and it is not a cult of Jesus.

WillieT knows a lot more about the International Churches of Christ than I do. They are definitely a cult, and NOT to be confused with the normal, run of the mill Church of Christ denomination..... any more than the Westboro Baptist Church is the same as any of the mainstream Baptist churches.

Hello Hornetguy,

Thanks for the reply. I am not belong to ICOC but I myself awe to their faith they are worthy to called Christians. I never mind if they called cult because maybe they are not the same to other Christian denominations. Hornet Check Hopeworldwide Afghanistan and Cambodia if they deserved to call a Cult. Thank you....

Sounds creepy. Hiding bad actions behind good actions does not erase bad actions. If what you say is true there is a very ungodly foundation leadership. To dismiss that because they do some good works is not using wisdom, nor using discernment, as the bible prompts us to do.
Mix a little lie with a lot of truth still leads you to a lie.

Hi Zealous :) What do you mean you are a fall away Christian for 17 years? Do you mean you once were or you still are? As for this church honestly this is the first time I have heard of them but if they are being spied on then that brings to question as to why because the elite have much better things to do than to make sure a Christian organization is staying true to their creed.

The ICOC movement actually began with Kip McKean and Chuck Lucas back about 40 years ago, stemming from a college off-campus church called The Gainesville Crossroads Church of Christ. Crossroads was very Liberal and Strict, at the same time. Liberal in their thinking, but strict on "accountability" to other members and to the church organization. People were expected to dress and act certain ways that the church approved of.

The ICOC is vehemently disavowed by both the older churches of Christ (antis) and the more Liberal Churches of Christ. ("hog-wild liberals", according to the Antis)

Other than that, I really know very little about them, as both my wife and I left the CoC about 34 years ago.
