Any good translation of Septuagint?

Does anyone have any recommendation for an English translation of the Septuagint?

So far I found only:

a) by Brenton - old English, hard to read, "the KJV style"
- while I am not the native English speaker, its difficult for me to read

b) NETS
- new translation into English, but they seem to like "alternative possibilities" in translation (like "divine" instead of God etc), strange sounding names (Dabid instead of David...)


Is there any other option?

I have NETS. I don't really like it but in the few cases I've used it, it has supported points other authors have made.

I dislike the strange sounding names myself..reminds me of the Sacred Names/Hebrew Roots nonsense..that gives me a rash

Some time ago (several months ago) I saw a "revised English translation of Brenton" into more modern English, they just changed archaisms.

I think it was made by some orthodox church group and I found it on amazon, but I cannot find it again...

All Septuagint translations have thousands of errors, but to me the real value is in understanding how they translated the Hebrew into Greek so when we read the Greek NT we can have a better ide of proper translation to English by looking at hos they translated it into Hebrewe in the OT.
