Most of you would probably agree that in these times evil is at it's worst then it's ever been. I'm not fully convinced of that, but neither do I deny it. The news media (in which most outlets I think are controlled by the devil) are just chomping at the bit to enlighten the evil that happens in the world and ignoring the good. Perhaps to make us feel defeated. Perhaps good news just doesn't sell as well as bad news. Anyway, does anyone know of any resources, beyond "Foxe's book of Martyrs" that document crime rates, martyrdom in correlation to human population.

It is my assumption that morality of the world always had an ebb and flow, sometimes evil was worst then other times. Christian persecution has existed from the beginning, 1st century Church. Many generations since then thought they were in the end of days. For example, many of the Ana-baptists were killed for their beliefs. The Catholic Church forbid laymen to read the bible for themselves in the mid-evil days. Today, the bible is still under attack, but it more available then ever before!

So is evil really so much worst today? Or is the media just illuminating the bad. Today technology is sure helping the bad news get to our ears quicker. The Christian Church in China is actually thriving, growing in the midst of an anti-Christian culture/government. We all know the Christ has all ready won war, but the battle goes on. Usually when we see a team losing that they get desperate, taking more risks, resorting to means that under stable conditions they would not take. Could these mass shootings etc. be Satan's desperate attempt to gain the upper hand?

Just think about it. God bless.

World War 1, The war to end all wars, it was said then.

The carnage was so great,

Surely the human race will change their ways after this.

Let's start a "League of Nations", to prevent anything like this from ever happening again.

I view it like bursts of extreme evil and death come in waves, and the waves are becoming more frequent. Waves like the holocaust, isis, and wars. But the everyday private evil is getting worse too. If you watch Criminal Minds, or America’s Most Wanted, those are based off of true stories.

And in a normal catagory, I see the love of most growing cold. Drivers who are reckless used to be a rare occurrence, but now seeing a good driver is a rare occurrence. 99% of drivers on the road are speeding, and not by a little bit. My freeway is 70 mph, and people pass me up must be going 85 mph. I want to go that fast too, but I can’t break the law. They go 55 mph in a 40 speed limit, and jump right in front of you, making you slam on your brakes. Ive been rear-ended a couple times because people don’t like to stop at red lights.

I appreciate you trying to be optimistic about it. There are good things happening in the world, and they don’t get enough spotlight. I have seen good reports though, and it’s very encouraging. But there’s no denying the love of most is growing cold. Customers at stores and restaurants know that businesses compete with each other, and say things like “The customer is always right.” And people take advantage of this by being very rude and demanding. They purposely complain about their food in order to get a percentage off.

They make scenes in clothing stores in hopes of getting a deal just to shut them up. Even in a bookstore I saw a video of a lady going ballistic while the guy calmly and cheerfully spoke with her. There have been injuries on Black Friday while greedy people literally bust through the door. And because of the greed of both stores and customers, they have made Black Friday begin on Thanksgiving Thursday so that instead of spending Thanksgiving with family, they are out shopping.
