What does the holy mountain represent? And why do you think its about new creation?
Is it not the new Jerusalem, come down to the new earth, where righteousness shall reign, following the resurrection and judgment of all, when those who have repented and believed on the LORD Jesus, shall attain to life ever after, being united with Him in His resurrection to new life?

its interesting. bible doesnt say but i believe the answer to question is NO

i believe it only happened after adam's fall.

but u know what animals never sinned so why do they suffer also? thats the surprise question here.
The bible says because they were subjected to all of the futility that the fall caused. (my paraphrase). It is something like: all the world was subjected to futility...

Can you show me the word "restored" in the Bible?

Revelation says the opposite - it will have nothing in common with the old creation. The universe (or whatever it will be) will work even without sun. No planet rotation (no night) etc.
nothing in common? what about the new jerusalem? what about nations walking in its light.
what about the tree of life. hey tree of life sounds familiar to something.

i dont know where u got the idea of a spiritual creation what can that be? is there any verses talking about a spiritual new heaven and new earth? sounds like u just made it up to fit the evolution teaching.

But what did animals (carnivorous ones) eat while Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the trees? Did not the spiders feed on the insects? And the fish feed on littler ones? And so on....
I do not believe the food chain of the animal kingdom was the same way before the great flood as we know it today.
I think the animal kingdom shifted drastically after the great flood.

I believe the Animals and Adam and all mankind could talk and understand each other until the fear of man was placed on the animal kingdom after the great flood.

See the bolded parts of the verses below.

Genesis 2:18-20
[SUP]18 [/SUP]Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.” [SUP]19 [/SUP]Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them; and whatever the man called a living creature, that was its name. [SUP]20 [/SUP]The man gave names to all the cattle, and to the birds of the sky, and to every beast of the field, but for Adam there was not found a helper suitable for him.

Genesis 3:1

Now the serpent was more crafty than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman, “Indeed, has God said, ‘You shall not eat from any tree of the garden’?”

Revelation 8:13
[SUP]13 [/SUP]Then I looked, and I heard an eagle flying in midheaven, saying with a loud voice, “Woe, woe, woe to those who dwell on the earth, because of the remaining blasts of the trumpet of the three angels who are about to sound!”

The beasts of the field and birds of the sky were God's first help mate to Adam. We see the serpent spoke to Eve and was not what we think of as a snake, on its belly, until he was cursed. We see that the Angel of the Lord opened the mouth of Balaams donkey [Numbers 22:28] the Angel of the Lord did not make the Donkey talk, it says he opened the mouth of the Donkey.

This seems to indicate Animals can speak, but their mouths were shut and maybe due to the fear of man God placed on them after the great flood. I also do not see the animal kingdom eating each other until after the fear of man was placed upon them after the Great flood. [Genesis 9:2-3] We also know that all animals were like man and only herbivores until after the flood.[Gen 6:21]

Think about it for a second, How did Noah and his family co-exist with all these animals on a Ark for approximately 370 days and not one animal, spider, etc die?

Adam and Eve and the Serpent all seemed to have a very clear understanding of what "death" was. Have you noticed the concept is never questioned even once? How did they know what "death" was if they were not already familiar with it?

I already said that death (the last enemy) is done away with in the new creation. Christ has defeated death on our behalf (sin and death). Death is the result of sin, which Christ has triumphed over. Death is to be thrown into the lake of fire, so no, there will be not be any more death :)

So again, what is the holy mountain where will be no death and evil?

The New jerusalem only? Or something more?

I thought I already answered this? Post 22 was phrased as a question, true; do you agree that the holy mountain is the new Jerusalem, come down from heaven (God's dwelling place)? The whole of the new creation will see neither sin nor death. They are conquered in Christ, done away with; we will be united as one in Him, no more sorrow or suffering or pain or death because sin/evil is no more nor is there death, because death is the result of sin.

Normally I would probably just say I don't care, but this has kind of interested me... so I guess I'll just have to say I don't know for sure.

I do wonder why most people consider death to always be such a bad thing. I mean, I know it is sad, but it is also natural and serves a purpose.
Well, I would consider His words when He had created living things and said it was good, that it did not include death.

Death has never been good and since Jesus Christ came to take the sting of death away, and soon death will be abolish into the lake of fire along with hell, then it could not have been there in the world before the fall of man.

Revelation 20:[SUP]13 [/SUP]And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.[SUP] 14 [/SUP]And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.[SUP]15 [/SUP]And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Since the second death is eternal, then the first death; the physical death will cease to be. No more death after the white throne judgment.

So it seems to me that you are saying that the New Jerusalem will be all there will be. Nothing else than the New Jerusalem will exist?

No earth on which the city will stand? No outside universe bigger than 144000 feet (I do not remember the precise measure, but you will get the point).

Adam and Eve ate from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. They didn't know they were naked before eating, so the knowledge of evil could have contained information on death.

But it wasn't really necessary for them to understand all that it meant to die and they would have got an idea of what death was like as soon as God gave them animals skin to wear.

That was not your question. You asked if there would be death and evil in the new creation. Scripture plainly says there will not, and that is what I answered :)

My original question was what do you mean by "the Holy mountain" in Isaiah. You stated its somehow connected to the New Creation so I wanted to know how :)

So I guess you think that "the holy mountain" in Isaiah represents whole the New Creation, not just the New Jerusalem, but also everything else.

Also an interesting point.

And I'm still pondering the fact that Jesus could and did eat fish and bread with a hole in his side big enough for a man to stick his hand in. :)
