John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.
The light exposes peoples transgression Beta, as you know. That is part of what the Light is for. But men love darkness rather Light because the Light exposes their transgression of God's Laws, the definition of Evil and they don't want to change.
But because they want eternal life, they create their own light, their own jesus who doesn't expose their transgressions, who doesn't expect them to respect and honor His Father as He did.
And we are witness of such thing and so is the Holy Spirit whom God gives to those who obey Him.

John 3 17- for God did not send His Son into the world so that the world should be condemned, but order that the world might be saved through Him.
John 3-18 -who ever believes in Him is not condemned , but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he does not believe in the name of the only Son of God.
and then the three verses you quoted. so, Jesus was talking about belief in himself as light, and not believing as darkness. not about keeping the Law.
and this is why this guy and a few others are lost. they refuse to use context and chronological order when quoting Scripture. they just throw out verses and attach their own ( wrong) opinions . always fact check what they say.
