i was watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=89a_Q2e78RI

and as i was watching it the words entered my mind that early church this, early church that.

i see many preachers and even fellow christians here say that. "early church this". at first i thought that hey its nice these godly men give us some non-inspired information about what life was like back then and how they interpreted the bible. but then i thought that its also possible there were other church saints who disagreed but their writings were just burned like the catholics always do with heretics and thats why we dont have them today.

my opinion is that while i respect these men if its true whats written for what they suffered for the faith. but i also think its a mistake to rely too much on them and build ur own opinion on that by saying "the early church believed this and that"

a big warning sign could be when paul said some will come after my departure, wolves who wont spare the flock!

I think you are confusing the real “early church” that Christ created and is written about in the New Testament, with the branch-offs that happened from the early church (Christ’s true genuine church). The Catholic Church is not the early church. They branched-off of the early church by hierarchy. God appointed elders in each congregation, but He never appointed a man over many or all the congregations- that’s Christ’s territory- He is the only head (authority) of His only body (His church which has not changed from the early church).

I believe that the 'earliest/first church consisted of Yahshua's/Jesus' own handpicked Disciples/Apostles who were all persecuted and murdered....and any that followed them were similarely hounded and overrun by UNgodly men seeking their own ways...ie sunday worship and establishing a different jesus oblitering the FATHER's Commandments/Sabbath.
It is hard to believe that even in our 'enlightened age this fight and persecution still goes on ! As long as people believe in a 'sunday-resurrection' they (knowingly or UNknowingly) support (spiritually) a false christ we have been warned against...deception is running very deep...be warned !

Galatians 2:1-5

“Then after fourteen years I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, taking Titus along with me.
2 I went up because of a revelation and set before them (though privately before those who seemed influential) the gospel that I proclaim among the Gentiles, in order to make sure I was not running or had not run in vain.3 But even Titus, who was with me, was not forced to be circumcised, though he was a Greek.4 Yet because of false brothers secretly brought in—who slipped in to spy out our freedom that we have in Christ Jesus, so that they might bring us into slavery—5 to them we did not yield in submission even for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might be preserved for you.”

I used to always hear people say I wish it was like the early Church, when I ask why, they say because everything was better then. Really all of the epistles were written to deal with problems in the early Church. Thessaloians are the only epistles that are not dealing with problems. The book of Acts was full of problems, the judizers, false brothers, false teachers, demon possessed people, peoplewanting to buy the power to baptize people with the Holy Spirit, people lying about the price of property, people wanting to and killing the apostles and disciples, people cgasing them out of town, being ship wrecked, bad storms out to sea, and being stoned to name a few problems.

u make this thread about the sabbath too??? u are obsessed.
u are right there with ur buddy hizikyah in using made up words to describe Jesus. Yahshua is not hebrew nor greek its no where in any manuscript and even the real hebrew speaking scholars like Michael Brown are laughing at u guys for using a non-existant name. Read here:

https://askdrbrown.org/library/what-original-hebrew-name-jesus-and-it-true-name-jesus-really

"And while we’re putting some myths to rest, here’s another one that needs to bite the dust: namely, the myth that the original Hebrew-Aramaic name of Jesus was Yahshua. In reality, there is no such name in the Hebrew language, and those of us who deny that Yahshua was His name are not part of some secret conspiracy to suppress the divine name. The truth is, His name was Yeshua—not Yahshua, which, to repeat, is a fabricated, non-existent name—and we don’t glorify the Lord or help His people by manufacturing false and worthless claims." - Michael Brown

michael brown is a real israelite. let that sink in.

It's sad that you're so deceived by your false gospel.

Christ is never enough for those who hold to a false gospel and false Christ. There is always something added to the message of the true Gospel, of which Paul warned us in Galatians 1:8-10. Yes, we are warned against your teaching beta. At 88 years old (if that is actually your age) it is saddening to see you in the grips of a false message!

Exactly, those who say that they want to be like the early church, or arer like the early church (as if they are pure doctrinally and with no error) are frankly completely ignorant of the facts! They need to crack open their Bibles and read with assistance of the Holy Spirit to open their eyes to both themselves and the early church. I think many here never crack open their Bibles, or do so very rarely, other than they cut and paste mass amounts of verses out of context.

Just an FYI, I watched a beautiful movie last night on Netflix titled "Full of Grace." It was about the mother of Jesus - Mary - giving words of wisdom to Peter, James and other disciples who were struggling with "false doctrine" being brought into the "early church." The movie was very touching.

Because He respected the tasks God had given to others. When Saul met Christ on the road to Damascus, He did not inform him what to do, He told him to go into the city and it will be told to him what he must do. (Which was to be baptized).

Do you think being a real israelite makes you perfect ?
Feel better now you've had your rant ?
I am happy with Yeshua....but it most certainly was not Jesus, the western model from Rome....that's why I don't like using that name.

the Word of God is a person, not a book...

If you mean direct sayings of God, then Bible is a translation of compilation of manuscripts of Scriptures. And Scriptures contain these sayings.

Its important to know these facts so that we will not make an idol from our printed Bibles.

Yes I read your message too but you were not spinning me some tale of what's right and wrong. Thank you for the respect but I can be as wrong as the next man/woman...don't agree with everything I say...don't mind being corrected by the Word of God...if you happen to know it and I don't. Even old age does not teach you (me) everything ! I am really 88.

Perhaps you would like to correct Yashua for pointing the devil to 'the written Word ?..it's good enough for Him but apparently not you !
