yes and no........ israel originally had judges but they wanted a king, God gave them a king........ sometimes good sometimes bad.

its a dung system when most of the population is uneducated on the topics they are voting on........ but we are to be subject to rulers who peter and paul says are appointed by God u see.....

1 peter 2:13-15
Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme;
Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well.
For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men:

NO. And sadly, America is moving toward that direction..... actually, toward a Socialistic Democracy. And I believe that will herald the final days of America.

yep. Democracy is people rule. If people good, follow God than produce good law

example gay marriage law vote. If people are Christian, they Will vote No and produce good law

if majority are unbeliever they may vote yes and produce unbiblical law

Very succinctly and accurately stated. This, BTW, is the very basis of Dominionism. If they could leave it there, they would have hit the target better than most of us.

The only actual perfect government will be when christ comes and rules the earth with a rod of Iron.

Democracy is good in that it gives freedoms, the problem with democracy as seen first with Rome, and lately with the US. Is that people in power realise they can purchase people votes. By giving people certain things, It also usually ends up with two groups fighting each 0ther, bringing about a divided nation as apposed to a united nation. Also, Since the people in charge are trying to buy votes. They will tend to give citizens things they have not earned, and the citizens will end up depending too much on the government, and not be able to take care of themselves. This leads to even further division and a destruction of the nation until eventually it is so splinters. It collapses. Or is so weak that another nation or power will come and take it without much of a fight.

Yep, people rule is not going to achieve any good. Let God rule us, It Will be much better.

all human are sin, how sinner lead they self, the Wage of sin is death, If sinner lead they self, It Will direct the self toward hell.

christian principle is to invite Jesus in our heart, to guide and rule us

in the contrary, democracy is to let us rule ourslef.

So democracy is oppose Christian principle. It better then monarchy lead by one person, but the best is theocracy

shariah law is lucifercracy the worse ever

Democracy is the best way how fallen and evil people can have organized society and still with some control over rulers and with some personal freedoms.

But of course, if somebody thinks that God is not involved in voting and people decide somehow "without Him", its foolish. He controls everything. He establishes kings, but also democratic presidents and governments, only way of the process is different.

First, we are not a democracy, we're a Constitutional Republic.

People rule is the best government under the Sun by the design and intent of the founding fathers.

A democracy according to leftist ideology will make government god, and that is what the leftists want. They have been mocking "thoughts and prayers" since the Texas church shooting, and before that mocking God in conventions, gatherings, through the media (prince of the power of the air) and want more government control, not belief in God.

People rule according to our founding is a Christian ideology designed to prevent a tyrannical leader and government, ruling church &c.

We are headed toward the former, not the latter.

Yeah, its interesting.

For example, the USA are so much more Christian than Europe.

And still, there is so much more violence, much more abortions, narcotics abuse etc in the USA. Why? How to explain such paradox? Well, there must be "somebody" else behind this. Somebody "in the air".

for man Made system, democracy is better than monarchy. But theocracy is the best

israel was theocracy, then they want a King, at first, God choose the King, and the King not obey God, than God choose another King, still theocracy, in the long run, some King are not choosen by God.

people rule or democracy, people make law, I doubt a sinner able to produce good law.

Lol @ foreigners trying to understand why America is the most Christian nation. Kinda appropriate I guess as tomorrow is Thanksgiving, literally about starving Christian pilgrims escaping persecution by the Church of England and eating a feast to survive the winter in America. America's history and even modern culture has always been shaped by an intermingling of politics and religion. It actually makes a lot of sense that America is the most Christian nation of the current era despite it seeming a paradox, it's no paradox actually, Christianity is deeply interwoven in both the foundation of America and its history from the first Thanksgiving, thanking Jesus by the Pilgrims into the modern day with the first Christian President of my lifetime tomorrow celebrating Thanksgiving.

Romans 13 says its all from God i think
I do not know how to interprate Romans 13.

for Example, communist government like North Korea, that kill Christian, is that from God and work for God?

For Example verse 2

2 Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation.

in North Korea If you not resisteth the power of government mean you not preach the gospel, because the government law prohibit preaching the gospel.

In Indonesia, government not always work for the Lord, most of the time you can buy the judge, the judge not
The jury make decision the defendant guilty or not

most of the time the rich win. My friend is a lawyer, If he work for the poor, almost 100% lost.

NO and too be honest.......in my view the rule of the people leads to the end of a nation.....and if you really want to get down where the rubber meets the road....

John 4--->God is Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth

Democracy---->worship God as you please

Which one is from God out of the two listed above.........??
