He is just trying to make you react.

Don't react, and ask him about love. Try to change his focus to love, because that is the challenge. Phil has since disappeared instead of answering my question.

When you try to change the focus to love, that's when things get kind of weird, and people feel awkward about continuing to be the way they are being.

After all, one can observe such a topic about the law of love. It is another, putting it into action, and giving examples of it. Interestingly people have come along and it has gone off-topic, to anything but the law of love.
Thank you my brother this is correct

The 2 greatest commandments are love God,and love people.

Creation testifies there is a God who loves people, and testifies of love God,and love people,so the world is without excuse.People that have not heard the word of God,or not sufficiently, will be judged by creation, and their conscience.

The ten commandments are laws of love for God,and people, and any law that has to do with loving God,and people.

Jesus said a new commandment He gives the saints that they have love one for another.

Love works no ill towards their neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the law.

Charity,love in action,is greater than faith,and hope.

Faith works by love, and it is not faith alone,it is love alone, for everything stems from love.

The world cannot love perfectly for that can only be done by being led of the Spirit, for if the world could love perfectly Jesus would of not had to give His life at the cross, for we would have the power to love perfectly ourselves.

What causes us to be separate from God is the lack of love.

When we repent of our sins, and are saved, and receive the Spirit, what we are doing is learning to love.

Paul said he could have all faith so that he could remove mountains, but if he did not have charity then he is nothing, and if people neglect people's needs then they erred from the faith, and James said their faith is dead, and John said the love of God does not dwell in them,so love not in word only, but in deed, and in truth.

The love of money is the root of all evil for it neglects the poor and needy, which is what it is about for it is about love.

This is the definition that Paul gives of charity.Charity does not think an evil thought, and does not sin by the Spirit,is not selfish, and not arrogant, and does not act unseemly, and is not unkind, and only goes by their needs, and not their wants, and helps the poor and needy with their needs.

Love is so important that we have to love our enemies, forgive them, pray for them, feed and clothe them, and bless them.

It is all about love, and only love, which love will not sin by the Spirit, and helps the poor and needy with their needs.

Without love there is no faith that can apply to a person, for if they had true faith that would mean that they love in the right condition.

The law is love, for love is what it is all about, and if love does not sin,and helps the poor and needy, then it would cover the moral laws, and laws of love, and anything that God commands that we do.

Charity is greater than anything we can do so it would have to be the law,and the law can only be about love, which the Bible says herein is the love of God,that we obey His commandments, and they are no grievous, and Jesus said if a person does not obey His commandments then they do not love Him,and every thought we have is to be to the obedience of Christ.

Charity is greater than faith, and hope, and when the saints are in heaven the only thing they will possess from earth is their soul, and love, and all else will pass away.Faith, and hope, are not needed in heaven.

In America we see a lot of the lack of love, which Jesus said since iniquity shall abound the love of many will wax cold.

I think people like preacher4truth are people who need a lot of love. Maybe when they are being such a way, we should just give kindness and love, instead of the reaction they want.

It really is 'the door' that is rarely taken.

Nicely put Matt. Don't you find that when one focuses on love, eg. like in your moment of talking about your opinions on the law of love, it raises you up? Although I have great knowledge of it, I'm not the best. I struggle to handle my life circumstances at the moment, the economic climate, my workplace. It makes me more sensitive, and I see things I don't like, like how people can treat others here.

HOWEVER

It is easy, to see that which you do not like and rebuke it. Many do it silently. They might see someone causing someone else to suffer, and pretend they are not there, or pretend they are not involved, or responsibly able to affect it in a positive way. I might come out with my rebukes, which are different to the other types you hear on this site. While it is love deep down that I feel, I don't want people to suffer, but usually I come to their defence, or judgement of the other hoping to make them 'see themselves', but always failing.

I observe these choices that happen in our mind, and when life was a little easier I put a lot of them into action.

To bring love present,
Is to bring God present.

It is the simplest choice, that is always there, in every moment.

But choosing it, well, that requires jumping out of your own flesh, and all the thoughts you are bound to it by. Metaphorically speaking.

The 2 greatest commandments are love God,and love people.

Creation testifies there is a God who loves people, and testifies of love God,and love people,so the world is without excuse.People that have not heard the word of God,or not sufficiently, will be judged by creation, and their conscience.

We have to always keep our eyes, minds and hearts on Yahshua/Jesus so to not get distraced, misled or lose focus, but rather to walk in His will, I am reminding myself of this also.

John/Yahanan 15:5-16, "I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, produces much fruit; but without Me, you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away like a branch, and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and letting My words; abide in you, you will ask what you will, and it will be done for you. In this is My Father glorified: when you produce much fruit; and in this way you become My disciples. Just as the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you; continue in My love. If you keep My Commands, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father's Commands, and abide in His love. These things I have spoken to you, that My joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be complete. This is My Command: Love one another as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this: that one would lay down his life on behalf of his brothers. You are My brothers, if you do whatever I command you."

"iniquity" is: #0458 anomia {an-om-ee'-ah} from G0459
Greek Word Study (Transliteration-Pronunciation Etymology & Grammar)
1) the condition of without law 1a) because ignorant of it1b) because of violating it, 2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness

Mattithyah 24:12, "And because iniquity will abound, the love of the many will grow cold."
If love grows cold because of Lawlessness how can anyone have true love accordingto Yah and not be in-line with what is written in His Law, no matter if they read it or not, would their actions not be the same as what the Law Commands? Yahshua walked in the Law perfectly and He was the most loving person ever.

1 Timothy 1:5-7, " But the goal* of the commandment is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith. For some men, straying from these things, have turned aside to fruitless discussion, wanting to be teachers of the Law, even though they do not understand either what they are saying or the matters about which they make confident assertions."

13 At harvest time, people knock olives from the trees.
But a few olives are left in the trees.
It will be like that in this land and among the nations.
14 Those who are left will begin shouting louder than the ocean.
They will rejoice about the Lord’s greatness.
15 They will say, “People in the east, praise the Lord!
People in faraway lands,
praise the name of the Lord, the God of Israel.”
16 We hear songs of praise for God from every place on earth.
They praise the God who does what is right.
But I say, “Enough!
I have had enough.
What I see is terrible.
Traitors are turning against people and hurting them.”
17 I see troubles for you people living in this land.
I see fear, pits, and problems all around.
18 People will hear about the danger,
and they will be afraid.
Some of them will run away,
but they will fall into holes and be trapped.
Some of them will climb out of the holes,
but they will be caught in another trap.
The floodgates in the sky above will open,
and the floods will begin.
The foundations of the earth will shake.
19 There will be earthquakes,
and the earth will split open.
20 The sins of the world are very heavy,
so the earth will fall under the weight.
It will shake like an old house.
It will fall like a drunk.
It will not be able to stand.
21 At that time the Lord will judge
the heavenly armies in heaven
and the earthly kings on earth.
22 Many people will be gathered together.
They have been locked in the Pit.
They have been in prison.
But finally, after a long time, they will be judged.
23 The Lord will rule as king on Mount Zion in Jerusalem.
His Glory will be shown to the city leaders with such brightness that
the moon will be embarrassed
and the sun will be ashamed

So put we put our Hope in The Lord our Elohim. If you Love him, guard the commandments and live according to the testimony of Messiah because He is the Word of the Father in Heaven.

Isaiah 24 a intense passage:

Isaiah 24:1-6, "See, יהוה is making the earth empty and making it waste, and shall overturn its surface, and shall scatter abroad its inhabitants. 2 And it shall be – as with the people so with the priest, as with the servant so with his master, as with the female servant so with her mistress, as with the buyer so with the seller, as with the lender so with the borrower, as with the creditor so with the debtor; 3 the earth is completely emptied and utterly plundered, for יהוה has spoken this word. 4 The earth shall mourn and wither, the world shall languish and wither, the haughty people of the earth shall languish. 5 For the earth has been defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the Torah, changed the law, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore a curse shall consume the earth, and those who dwell in it be punished. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth shall be burned, and few men shall be left.

Matt 24:21-22, "For then will be great tribulation, such as has not come to pass since the beginning ofthe world to this time--no, nor ever will be. And unless those days were shortened, there would no flesh be saved; but for the elect's sake, those days will be shortened."

Psalm 18:30, "The Mighty One – His way is perfect; The Word of יהוה is proven; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.”

Psalm 37:5, "Commit your way to יהוה, And trust in Him, and He does it."

The law is not love, it brings forth evil. In fact it's only porpoise for the law is to show how bad we truly are. It shows we need a savior. Love God and love people is all God asks.

Can one be walking in love and be doing things against the Law? I say no.
That is exactly what Paul says.
When you walk in the fruit of the Spirit there is no law against you--Galatians 5:22-23.

You won't be found guilty of breaking any law of Moses when you walk by the Spirit. That's why God gave us the Spirit. Grace isn't just for the forgiveness of sins, which is the only part most in the church seem to know about. Grace was also given so we are able to not be our old selves anymore and to love as God loves, which is a sacrificial, giving, costly love that extends even to it's enemies. There are many laws in the law of Moses that show this. Laws of Jubilees, monetary interest, lending, etc.

The reason people are convicted by the law is because it is a law of God's love, not natural human love. It is the kind of love humans do not have by nature. The law of Moses requires sacrificial acts that humans do not have by nature. That's why we can't keep them in our natural selves. You have to get a new nature to fulfill the laws of love in the law of Moses and be like God. You have to have the Spirit part of a water and Spirit salvation, not just the water part. You won't see the things and ways of the kingdom without the Spirit part.

To those still under the law they too are under its condemnation. However to those who are bought with the perfect sacrifice, they know where condemnation truly grow from. They are then handed down from Heaven the Instructions for living an abundant life and all they need to know for their edification in this truth.

I understand the confusion around the subject of the Law. It is freedom for many who have grown and a curse for them who seek life by it.

I must say we who do guard it should all know that righteousness doesn't come from the Law; it also is true that a person who remains in the instructions of YHWH our Father love of Elohim has truly been perfected in them.

The word say different:

Romans 7:12, “Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good."

In fact it's only porpoise for the law is to show how bad we truly are.
We do need mercy but that is not the only purpose of the Law:

And we know that the Torah is good if one uses it legitimately, knowing this: that Torah is not laid down for a righteous being, but for the lawless and unruly, for the wicked and for sinners, for the wrong-doers and profane, for those who kill their fathers or mothers, for murderers, for those who whore, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and for whatever else that is contrary to sound teaching.”

Without the law there would be no knowledge of sin. The law kills. Jesus saves. Maybe it's a form of tough love.
Why does the law kill?It kills man because man Is carnal, sold under sin.
