Please don't be alarmed by this-- dreams are only indications of spiritual realities, and are not to be taken in a literal sense, especially in regards to time frames. I do believe it was from the LORD, but, it could have been a message for me personally, such as my own time is limited, or time is limited in a broader sense like I"m almost 60 and every year, even every month should be considered icing on the cake, and this was following a rare experience of shortness of breath. But, my health is not in obvious decline, it's just that I"m getting older, even though still young at heart.

I believe that most Christians would agree that signs of the times, that Jesus warned us to take notice of, are clearly pointing to signs that the world could be entering, or nearing an end-phase. But, Peter also said that, quoting the Old Testament, that "a day is as a thousand years to the LORD." But, I think it's fair to say that we as Christians have alwayse been called to live as if the return of Christ is imminent, because it always has been in biblical time frames.

Even though, it is not a cause for alarm, only a warning to us all to stay on track and endure to the end, even though the battles in the spiritual realm are getting more serious for many people. It's a warning for us as Christians to take life more seriously and make sure we "walk in the Light, as He is in the Light," as John said. Just keep diligently preparing our lives, and "getting the ship in ship-shape!" Asking God to help us tidy up our inner temples for some people, or call in some help to move out some heavier clutter and srub the floors, clean the kitchen, bathroom, basement. oSpend a day and clean your car if you have one, and invite Christian friends. The best way to start to rid our lives of every influence of unclean spirits is to clean the area around us. God is a God of order-- what do unclean spirits hate? Clean temples.

AS Christiians, we are the living stones of God's temple as Jesus said and Peter also.
You get the idea. The military knows this and businesses, farms, fire stations, others-- That's why they do drills
to keep readiness current for every emergency.

THE DREAM LAST NIGHT AND RECENT READINESS MESSAGES

Over a month ago, after attending an non-dennominational church, I heard in the spirit--

"STAND YOUR GROUND!!"

AND A WEEK LATER i HEARD,

"BATTLE STATIONS!!"

These are calls to readiness, not panic. Christians who are ready and close to God, have no need to panic ever
MARTIN LUTHER SAID:
"IF I KNEW THE WORLD WAS [ENDING] TOMORROW, I WOULD STILL PLANT MY APPLE TREE."
(paraphrase from memory)
I believe the time is approaching for the return of the LORD, but, no one knows the hour. If I was to pick a number, a safe one would be at least a decade or two.
An even safer one would be:
ONE DAY AT A TIME;
ONE WEEK AT A TIME;
ONE MONTH AT A TIME;
ONE YEAR AT AT TIME;

In the dream last night, I was looking out the window of a small passenger jet. The plane was making a climbing turn to the right, I think, and I looked out at the wing and said "uh-oh!" But, the attention seemed to be directed at how short the runway was. Then I confirmed how amazing that jet was and how it could land on the shortest runways, but that "that has to be the shortest runway in Alaska."

Then the dream shifted to the top of a building: A tan, older type building 10 or 15 stories high I think in a warm climate where they don't have much earthquake reinforcements in buildings. I was with someone, I think a lady, and, the ground started shaking very heavily and the building began to shift to the left of the scene and definitely was going down with myself and another person in the room. I just kept saying, "Trust God!! Don't panic!! Trust God!! Trust God!! Trust God!!" All the way down. Then we reached the ground and the scene shifted to a smaller plane. We had crash landed with the plane intact, in Heaven!! There was green grass everywhere and blue sky, and beauty and peace. People exited the plane excitedly and I said,

"wow!! we're in Heaven!!"

"It WAS the end of the world!!"

God bless you all-- there is no need to take this in a radical way unless you feel the LORD has spoken to you in a special way to do so, and unless you are in need of a wake up call, like I seem to continually in need of. It's just a gradual, continuous warning that most Christians believe will steadily increase to wake people up and rouse us to action. Clear our temples, both our bodies and our homes, minds and hearts and souls, of spiritual, worldly clutter and especially idols of the world. Work more diligently at what we are aware that the LORD has revealed to us that we need to do to prepare, to always be prepared, to step into eternity.

Eternity is only a heartbeat away--

But, it's not an exercise in earning God's favor--
but, in humbling ourselves to receive the free-gift of salvation and walking honorably with the LORD. Salvation is not based on entitlement, but a humble, unshakeable assurance, relying on God's righteousness, not our own.
There are dire warnings by Jesus in the Bible for those who think they can ordain themselves saved and therefore are immune to God's judgment if they continue to knowingly and willingly do evil.
There are also dire warnings to those who continually doubt and question God's Word and dishonor the sacred Blood of the New Covenant, not humbling ourselves to believe the Spirit of Christ, the Spirit of Truth, and can become a form of blasphemy, as if the Blood of the Covenant was not enough to save us. It's like calling God a liar. or ourselves by saying that our
vows to the LORD were not sacred.

Jesus said, and James also: "Just say yes, or no." And honor our commitment with action.
Paul said, "The LORD knows those who are His."
Jesus is Merciful and knows many people are suffering. But, He also knows that most of us can do much better, inspite of our weaknesses.

I believe it was a message directly from the LORD for all of us as Christians:

"TIME IS LIMITED."

i.e. finite.

if the end is coming very soon, probably we should all go max out our credit cards.

How about max-out our prayer life--
Good stewardship doesn't change just because world situations change--
Many Christians don't need to do anything dramatic, unless we are living in a wrong situation or ways against the Bible--
Just walk courageously and in kindness, right to the end...
radical forgiveness, radical kindness, radical faith--

maxing out ones credit cards because they are sure the end will come before the payment's due would be a pretty radical action to take.

can you pinpoint what's wrong with that?

Let be prepare, let's pray and fasting.
Yes, prayer and fasting are good ways to grow spiritually, but, not on our own, unless a person is a veteran of spiritual warfare and has supportive prayer warriors on their side, and a strong Christian fellowship family. Prayer and fasting should be done under church supervision so that a person does not balance out their health and their medical needs and capabilities. Also, radical spiritual efforts like that can be motivated by legalism and trying to earn God's favor on our own merits when Paul said, salvation must be received as a free-gift so that no one can boast of their own heroic efforts. Jesus is the Hero--He is "TOP GUN." He has earned our respect and reverence, and trying to add to the Cross is a form of disrespect and even idolatry. The ship of life and faith, can only be boarded with a free ticket, a Lutheran pastor once said, it has already been paid for. If we insist on buying one, it will not be accepted. The "ARC/ARK OF THE NEW COVENANT" like Noah's Ark, and like the "ARK OF THE OLD COVENANT," can only be entered into by the free-gift of the eternal Christmas, and the free-gift of Good Friday, and the free-gift of the trumpets of Easter's Lilies through the Ressurrection of Christ the LORD, which is confirmed and empowered by a faithful relationship to the end--
These are not my own words-- they are the words of Jesus Himself in the Bible and confirmed through the living Church by the Holy Spirit.

So, don't pray and fast so severely that it is abusing ourselves because that is a form of idolatry too and self-abasement which is a dishonoring of the presence of Christ within us

Funny thing about fasting, Jesus said we should not tell nobody and here you are saying we should for our "safety" and "health benefit" or only if we are veteran of spiritual warfare in the kingdom

Matt 6:17-18
[SUP]17 [/SUP]But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face [SUP]18 [/SUP]so that your fasting will not be noticed by men, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.

Please show us the book, chapter and verse that Fasting is only for a veteran of spiritual warfare. Furthermore, could you please share with the class what exactly a veteran of spiritual warfare looks like, acts like and talks like, so I can discern them.

You know interestingly enough I had a dream a couple nights ago about heaven too. I wasn't dead and the rapture didn't happening or anything it was more like I was just visiting, when I have dreams or visions of heaven it usually is one about the beauty and wonder of heaven but this one was different it seemed to be more about the peace and the joy of it. I remember that I was walking among the people in heaven lots of loved ones who have long since past were reunited with their loved ones from earth and everyone was just filled with complete peace and joy and seeing how everyone in heaven was so happy and even more so when being reunited with loved ones from earth I recalled a phrase I heard a from somewhere that I don't recall where saying don't mourn for the dead mourn for the living and this phrase was no more true than when I saw all of this I remember saying to myself in the dream if people on earth could see this they would not weep for their loved ones passing away they would rejoice for them.

Time is limited whether the end is near or not but no one ever truly considers this. We all live everyday as if tomorrow is promised but it isn't and the thing about death is that it is never predictable but for some perhaps death is a blessing. This world is quite honestly exhausting it is riddled with sadness and pain of all kinds and no one knew this more than Jesus himself, but heaven is not only a place of existence with peace and everlasting joy and being with God forever it is a state of being.
